Listened to this podcast and strange men put a bag over my head and took me to a pitch black room with only a single hanging lightbulb flickering on and off, and on again. The men asked me strange questions such as “what do you know about your children?” and “mark, your kids miss you please wake up” and lastly “WAKE WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP” they are very silly. They are just trying to help! Probably… 10/10 would listen again.

This is so .. audio modern art that creates currents and undercurrents and over-tows. The music choices are so perfect, btw. So covertly funny. And crave-able. Like a drink you discovered by fate in a place you never knew existed but always meant to go to made from a recipe that only they know by memory and its sharp, bitter, smooth and soothing. It lingers on and long after you have moved on to a new destination you are still there, wondering and wandering and lost in thought and drawn back even though you watch the land going past you you on a highway that may and may not even be there. It’s just good. I love it. And to the creators? if you live in the SW .. let’s be friends!

Having a radio signal in here is the best thing one can ask for. I appreciate Cecil’s voice in the dreariness of eternal darkness, as one would. It fills the emptiness of time that probably doesn’t exist. Thanks for the show! -the Void

I grew up listening to this podcast because my brother and I would sit in his room and play Legos and listen to this. So when he moved out I kept listening to it and now it’s the only podcast I listen to. I’ve listened to every episode and the recap show, Good Morning Night Vale. Each episode feels like it’s own story, and I want to thank Joseph and Jeffery for making this because it helps me bring out my spooky, eerie side whenever I’m doing work, cleaning or even just sitting in my bed. I’ve tried to get my other friends into it but I think it might be a bit to weird for them but I totally recommend this show to anyone who loves creepy and strange “twilight like” stories!

Really cool! I love accidentally giving myself nightmares because I am a scaredy cat and I listen to this before I go to bed! And don’t forget, ALL HAIL THE GLOW CLOUD!!!!!!

What can I say, it’s great. Every episode is super fun and silly. I mean… it has space blood wars and forbidden dog parks, and beings that are definitely NOT angels, because angels DON’T EXIST and they never will. Hyperfixation FUEL I’m telling ya. Also the voices are very nice and the whether is great. 100% recommended from me!!

I just finished listening to the first episode of Welcome to Night Vale, and I'm hooked! The surreal storytelling and deadpan humor is unlike anything l've heard before.

I love everything about this but the narrator is really bad. He’s so stilted and artificial that he takes you out of the atmosphere of the podcast. I’m hoping he got replaced at some point. Not sure how many episodes I can tolerate this guy.

I really love this podcast. I restarted it several times and listen to the podcast every chance I get. I even got my boyfriend to listen to it. He finds it weird but creative. I love Cecil’s voice and love his work.

Huzzah. Huzzah. The nightvaliphim approach. Cecil I love your intros and the sponsors are top notch. Could we get a spreadsheet of studio earnings for the nightvale community radio? Because the city council has no money, the studio has no money, but somehow they still get sponsors? The click rate of these ads must be through the roof. Also I saw some mural marked helicopters in the desert today, should I be worried about that? What were those guidelines? The woman from Italy can hear your screams. Anyway I forget what I was saying but the podcast is top notch and production quality is 10/10. If it were a donut, I would eat it. I also want to address the problem of the ad complaints. Ok guys, like, we get that you can’t move in order to press the fast formats button. If you want long ads go complain to the Magnus archives( also a great horror podcast btw) just stop whining about it. And also I’m reference to the complaints about the whole “political agenda of wtnv “ Thats… that’s kinda.. the… pooiiint. I mean, it’s a strange weird town that goes against all logic, ethics, morals and general intelligence of a story typical town. I won’t say real town because *theworld* exists so just, no one should really care about the politics because there not enforcing or emphasizing any serious political views. Point your witch hunt somewhere else. This podcast is great, I usually skip the weather but check out the artists. Great writing, I shared some quotes with my elitest father and he found them funny. I also feel like the people who complain about the fact that’s it’s not horror enough have it all wrong. It’s not “oh I got stabbed and screaming” horror it’s “I am now question existence” horror with a main theme of comedy. Love the show and am thoroughly impressed with the awesome work put into the podcast. Despite what I said before the ads are kinda annoying tho.

You should listen to this podcast. You won’t start seeing disturbing messages saying things like “HELP ME” and “MY BODY IS IN THE RIVER” written in blood. You will continue to live a normal life a completely… Normal Life..

Hi, I’m Wonder and I am a Nightvale addict. I found this podcast in December of 2023 and I have listened and relistened to every single episode at least twice since then….I think Cecil and Carlos should take a vacation to Pawtuxet Village to excavate the area of Curwen’s lab. Cecil might even find a slimy thudding creature to bring back as a pet for Esteban…

This podcast changed my life.I had never actually listened to a podcast before(tbh I’m a latter gen z) when I heard about this on Pinterest.I decided to take a listen to the first episode in December and,well...I fell in love instantly 😊😂! I couldn’t believe how odd and eldritch it was,it was just the thing I was looking for.I could picture myself listening to the radio dispachs in Night Vale, NOT wandering into the dog park, seeing Carlos’s perfect hair,Greeting some DEFINITELY Not real Angels( Spoilers! Angels are legal now) . Que the representation,que the weirdness,que the lights above the Arby’s and WELCOME....... TO NIGHT VALE!

After I was shown this by a friend, I haven’t turned back! The story and characters are well though-out and developed, as well as a rich world. The way absurd things are brought up so casually can be hilarious, and the serious moments make you feel tense. Mysterious, funny, complex, and amazing. Plus LGBTQ+ stories! My only complaint is the weather runs a tad bit too long, but I think the nice break is good. Truly a great podcast, amazing job! All hail the glow cloud!!!!!!!!
