Hardcore Listing with Chris & Stu

Off the back of their success on Scroobius Pips Drunkast, Pips sidekicks Chris & Stu launched the now formidable podcast Hardcore Listing. A podcast based around Top 5 lists. Hardcore Listing sees Chris and Stu discuss with each other as well as a host of special guests a list of top 5 stuffs! This maybe, records, gigs, TV shows, films, drunk stories, buffet food and lord knows what else. Generally recorded in Stu’s home bar The Whiff Inn, you should expect laughs, beers and the occasional drunken heart-felt chat.

    Who doesn't love a Top 5 list?
I'm LONG overdue to write a review of this highly entertaining podcast. It hit my radar through Chris and Stu's appearances on the Drunkast episodes of the Scroobious Pip Distraction Pieces podcast. When I found out it was about Top 5 lists, I was sold. I mean, who doesn't love a Top 5 list??? Each guest gets to pick a Top 5 list topic and they discuss it along with their career/life. It's a concept that's led to interesting, eclectic, and (sometimes) unexpected conversations, and forever leaves me trying to decide on my Top 5 for each epsiode's topic. And Chris and Stu remind of my guy friends from college, they make me roll my eyes and shake my head a lot, but they're good eggs. Give it a listen!

    Great podcast
Always funny. 2 down to earth guys that tell hilarious stories. Unlike a lot of podcasts there's no ego, they let the guests talk and relax into telling great stories. Makes your realise that the best thing about Distraction Pieces is the Drunkcasts and the best thing about the Drunkcasts is Chris and Stu.

Fix your sound quality and you'll have a decent podcast.
Tuned in for the Russel Lissack episode. All in all it was a great conversation, but it sounds like they set an iPhone down on the table inside a tin can and sat 15 feet away to record. Made it really hard to understand what was going on while I was driving. Maybe it's better in headphones but this really needs to be addressed. Unacceptable when good field mics are becoming very affordable.
