SDSSTLRoom for improvementLiz constantly uses some iteration of "dive in" or "season of life," and it drives me especially bonkers when she says "if you are listening" because of course we are listening or we wouldn't be hearing you in the first place. It's also odd that there are so many guests from Canada. Liz obviously doesn't have a real career - a former night club waitress turned doula, and the "doula stuff" seems to have gone by the wayside. I like keeping up with Liz and her family life, but honestly, most of the information presented on this show is readily available on the internet.

KWHOTTGreat podcastI love this podcast! I loved the most recent episode with Liz and Vito talking real life about parenting and marriage. Needed to hear that.
-
LmullaheyLove this podcast!I have been listening to this podcast for a long time and I have gotten so much education and different perspectives from Liz and all the guests that come on. I love that Liz works hard to have highly educated guests to really expose her listeners to different views and discussions. I am in my 2nd pregnancy and have listened to this podcast since ttc with my first and I love all the information and resources that Liz talks about and all the great guests she brings on.

Cia456Love this podcast! If you are a parent, you need to start listening to this podcast! Like from the very beginning. Liz is such a great host and so easy to listen to. I love the topics covered in this podcast and that everything is not only factual and informative but interesting as well. 5/5 recommend!

KrisAnnA33Listen to Liz!This podcast has been a great source of information for me as I prepare for another birth. Even though it’ll be my 3rd birth I am still learning so much. Highly recommend this show!

nononononoonnLove it!I appreciate the wealth of knowledge Liz brings. I found this podcast as a new doula and have enjoyed how much I have learned about this profession and being a birth worker so far. As a mama of two, I also appreciate the motherhood aspects of this show. Worth a listen!

ssteppphhFive starsThis podcast is very informational and calming. I love listening and learning about soooo many great topics. It has helped me a ton. Liz is such a great host and the guests are often so wonderful. Each conversation brings new inspiration and new perspective. Thank you Liz! This is a must listen.

Clay's GrannyGreat InterviewerLove the new name! Liz does a great job interviewing her guests, not interrupting with her own opinions and stories/advice. It’s much improved!
-
millenial babeJudgemental about hospital birthsI listened to the doula episode to learn more as I prepare for interviewing birth doulas. The episode subtly disses OB decisions, hospital environments and then just becomes two doulas feeding off each other with this energy about how wrong doctors can be. What happened to respecting each woman’s birth place and plan?

arldarldarldName changeI love the name change and the podcast but but the mispronunciation of chava is really cringey! It’s not just an alternate pronunciation it’s just blatantly wrong- if the Hebrew “ch” sound is too difficult to pronounce you can just say “h” instead, like “hava” (the same way some people say Hanukkah instead of Chanukah).
-
Cleo164Insensitive titlePlease reconsider your new brand name. It is insensitive to use a name that is outside of your own culture and purposely mispronounce it. It makes the people within that culture feel used, not seen. There are endless names that you could use instead. Please be inclusive and thoughtful of other religions and viewpoints outside of your own.
-
SydneeRMThis podcast covers everything!I love listening to a podcast and feeling seen, and that’s exactly how I feel when I listen to this one! If you’re a mama, you’ll love this podcast.

karmelita16Down Syndrome Awareness MonthLiz you are such a beautiful person inside and out! Thank you for having me on your podcast to talk about my daughters down Syndrome diagnosis and heart surgery. I love all of your guests, they are so informative and the topics are perfect for the stage in life I am in.

maddie@podcastingyouGreat podcast! This podcast is a must listen for mamas everywhere! Elizabeth is an inspiring and uplifting host and each of her conversations with guests is truly insightful.

allureexchangecoBreath of fresh airLove listening to this podcast. It feels like I’m listening to a best friend chat. Liz is a mama. And a new mama at that. I have a 5 year old and still can’t form sentences properly when speaking with other adults and most days have 2 different socks on. She’s over here doing a podcast and she shares her ups and downs, digs deep and has casual conversations which feels like I’m listening to a couple friends talk about their kids and experiences over dinner. I often nod my head like “yes mama, I feel that in my soul today”. She has such a calming voice and her podcast is one I can listen to while my kids are around. And can we talk about ads for a moment? All podcasts have ads, that’s how the creator is paid after all. Thankful that her ads are for good products. I’ve listened to some podcasts that the ads are so off base for the creator or for the material of the podcast and Liz has done a good job at picking ads that would be beneficial to her or to her listeners. They are on brand and that’s appreciated. Couldn’t say enough awesome things about her podcast. Her Instagram is so cute too. It’s always nice to put a face to a voice. I respect that she keeps her children’s identity private. She shares so much of her life so I’m glad that she keeps something for herself. She’s genuine and seems to have a beautiful soul. I will be a forever listener and follower of Liz.
-
jess lorionYour best friend in your ears!Liz has so much compassion and heart that when you put on an episode, you just feel comforted. It is so important for women and mamas to know they’re not alone and by listening to the stories that she’s sharing, you feel heard and seen. Thank you for creating a space of information and inspiration!

MNW1422Weaning podcastI was really disappointed in the weaning podcast. There wasn’t much information on how to actually wean, best ways to go about it, science behind it, reasons to and not to wean, dos and donts. Instead, it was just a conversation between two women and their struggles with breastfeeding and weaning. I normally really enjoy this podcast and have learned so much on so many different topics, but lately it seems Liz talks mostly about her own life / children and struggles, and not questions to the guests for the listeners to learn information about the specific struggles. I hope Liz can turn back and focus on interviewing the guests but if the podcast continues to move in the directions it’s going I will probably stop listening.

RoseMiller98765Out of controlThis podcast is starting to feel like just a cash grab. There are ads about every three minutes…. It’s excessive and not enjoyable to listen to. Also please refer to us as pregnant women; there are no “pregnant people”. As a Christian woman you should stand up for the truth of God, instead of bowing down to popular culture.
-
Breanne2249Pregnant “people” 🤦♀️Can you please stop calling pregnant women “pregnant people”. I feel like it takes away the power the women feel while being pregnant. I’ve never felt more of a women while being pregnant and I felt so connected to mothers and women you have gone through childbirth and it made me realize how amazing WOMEN are. Calling us pregnant people is degrading. I respect people who wish to be referred to as pregnant person and I have no problem referring to them as such, but that’s such a SMALL percentage of people so we shouldn't all have the women title taken away from us to please a small percent.

cwiltsEnough with the businessesI’m not sure if you can’t get better guests, but it’s annoying to hear an entire episode that is essentially an advertisement for someone’s business (ie cloth diaper brand, ring sling brand, toy brand). These people are not experts, they are entrepreneurs. If you want to include them, have multiple guests and have this be a snippet. I think some podcast lessons or classes could help you a lot. Your speaking and interview style could be greatly improved. It’s gotten better but there is still room for growth.

Dpippen👏👏👏Whew! This show totally checks all the boxes-motherhood is so complex and this show brings some peace to my overhwhelm!
-
Funness NurseypooLove love loveLove this podcast so much! Highlight of my week. It’s so relatable and informative of everything mamas need or want to know!
-
McGarveyTSo beneficial and informative! This podcast has been to helpful with different situations I have gone through. All the guest are so knowledgeable and it’s been great information that I’m so glad it out there for everyone to hear. My favorite podcast to listen too!
-
Mel8811Great ResourcesLiz does a great job at getting a wide variety of guests on the podcast. There is truly something for everyone.
-
listenwhileiwalkYES!!Love this mama and love this podcast! Elizabeth has such a big heart, and has a great perspective since she’s both a birth doula and a mom herself! Love the guests she brings on, but love the episodes with Liz and her hubby the best!
-
noellasmamaWonderful mama and mama to be podcast!Liz is an amazing mama, doula, and so much more! She brings really great information and guests onto her podcast to help educate us on so many important topics from hormones, to pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and other nutrition and health topics ! Thank you Liz for bringing us an enlightening and inspiring content filled podcast!
-
katherineship90Love this PodcastThis podcast has only gotten better with time! Liz does a great job bringing on a variety of guests and covering all kinds of topics. Even ones that aren’t necessarily “relevant” to me are interesting and informative to listen to, and I love getting snippets of updates on her own motherhood journey. As a new first time mama who also had a baby during COVID, I can relate and so appreciate her perspective!
-
bittersweet56Amazing interviews!!Fantastic content and great interviews. Liz is a fantastic solo host. She finds great people to interview and loving her down to earth personality. The interview with the Formula mom was amazing and very informative. As a new mom who recently ended breast feeding and switched to formula, it was the perfect content that I never knew I needed!
-
LeeS3589!Conquering the Survival ModeThis podcast is terrible. If I only had $1 for every time they said “like.”..it’s pretty much impossible to listen to.
-
Sarahpie91The Formula MomI don’t love every episode, but I find this podcast to be generally informative and supportive. I love that Liz brings on diverse guests on a variety of topics. I loved the game upside on formula and think it’s so important to debunk the ridiculous myths that cause an extreme amount of mom guilt for so many. I went into motherhood with zero judgement of using formula and then still struggled to switch when I needed to for my mental health and my baby’s needs. It’s not talked about enough and the info on this episode was helpful!

SCN2535BummedI used to listen to this podcast every week and I loved it!! I always thought Liz was super sweet. I loved how she shared her weekly pregnancy updates on the podcast and her birth story. But then I got really sad when she decided to never show any photos of her child even though weekly she gave us pregnancy updates and personal birth details. She would ask the group pregnancy questions, support, etc. but then when the baby actually comes she blurs out her babies face in every photo because of privacy concerns...??? Bummed because I was really looking forward to seeing their cute little babe since I followed from the start. I decided to unfollow Liz and go with another pregnancy podcast because I feel let down and that I can’t relate anymore. She trusts to ask us questions/advice but then won’t even show a photo of her baby?? I never heard of that before...weird to me. Moving on to a more family based podcast.

ajc317Mylk EpisodeWhy can’t you acknowledge that the food industry is wildly racist? The product that your guest is marketing is not at all accessible and she comes off as extremely judgmental and completely clueless to the barriers that may people face regarding access to nutrient rich foods. Your discussion and her product obviously can’t be expected to solve the problems of the world, but I’m very confused and disturbed that a basic acknowledgment of these things isn’t seen as a necessary part of the conversation.
-
caitlin201Great advice for all women!Love this podcast! Liz has brought structured and informative episodes. They always make me feel so empowered! Definitely worth a listen and I have recommended to friends as well!!
-
KeriMarqYou know? She needs to stop saying, “you know?” Drives me nuts.
-
AndreaMal3AdsToo many ads!! I listened to one podcast and that was enough for me. The story (a birth story) was interrupted 4 times (maybe more-lost count it was so many). Very disappointed a mother’s birth story especially was interrupted that many times for pointless ads. Also the very long rambling personal introduction had me also shutting it off before it began. I came here to listen to the birth story not a long drawn out talk about COVID. I hear that enough thanks. Don’t want to hear more about it, that’s why I have no news apps. Will not be returning, unless the above is taken care of and improved. PLEASE don’t interrupt a mother’s story. Very disrespectful. Ads could be at the end.
-
CamiG2018Love it!So real and authentic! Love the birth stories and tips.

CatCaul89Back after a yearI started listening from day 1, with the Babes & Babies podcast, and listened through most of my pregnancy... but after I had my daughter I needed a break from all things baby & mommy since my whole world was already consumed by my baby. Well now, my daughter is 14mo, and I have spent the last few weeks getting all caught up! I am happy to say that I’m back, and more in love with Liz’s story and her knack for genuine conversations about all the things that come with being a mom! ❤️

Laine 3Important information you can understand!I don’t have children yet, my husband and I are not quite ready to start a family but I’ve always been incredibly interested in pregnancy, birth and raising children. Even for those who are not in the season of life concerning all things babies this podcast brings incredible information to the table. I love that Liz brings real life mamas on before the actual podcast, it makes this feel like a true sense of community. I’ve learned so much from listening and feel like there are always an array of tips from experts on different topics that allow mamas or mamas-to-be to have a full range of knowledge to make the best decisions for them and their family. It’s my absolute favorite podcast!
