I’ve been listening to Pastor Steven for nearly 3 years now. I really began tuning in after my mother went to rest with Jesus. After recovering from the mental toll that has on me, which landed me in a psych ward for a week, my wife and I went on our first vacation to North Carolina from Ohio (I drove). That week is when I truly realized that so many people simply criticize Pastor Steven without actually listening to full sermons. I stopped listening to his critics and started listening for myself ever since. Then Jesus gave the command to listen to Pastor Steven alone, as I’ve been bouncing around searching for a mentor of sorts (as I’m fairly new to the faith), and Jesus said: “he will teach you how to wage war.” Ever since then, my love for God, my neighbor and myself has grown so much. I’ve become an encourager myself rather than a berating voice grating against the ear while claiming it’s love motivating my speech. Elevation Church and Worship have been great blessings to my household. And it’s funny, so many claim that the folks who do not see Pastor Steven as a wolf in sheep’s clothing are lost. But I’m an ardent student of Jesus and am always studying scripture. I don’t see any serious issues with Pastor Steven at all (none that merit the bashing he receives). So many want him to address sin with individuals who don’t even believe in God whereas he introduces God in a way this upcoming generation and previous ones can readily relate to and understand. Besides, scripture says it’s the kindness of God that brings about repentance - not man’s judgment.

I’ve been listening to Steven Furtick, his wife and all the guest speakers for 3 years now and his sermons have been so helpful in growing my relationship and understanding with the Lord.

He has a positive message but I have never heard him have a condemning message and applying to our generation like he does with the gospels. Elevation church is a prosperity church, health and wealth only. The music is phenomenal!!

The most important thing is GOD! Understanding and applying it to our daily lives is a blessing from god in a way to help others grasp the meaning of the Bible and become more open to it and gods love

I love that I can watch online on Sundays and then throughout the week listen via the podcast as a reminder of the teaching. Whether I am driving and doing chores around the house having the Word so handy has been a blessing. Love my Church!

This is the BEST Podcast if you are looking for a sermon that will feed your soul. I come back to Elevation every time I need a spiritual boost & it's a great way to start my weekly commute into work. I'm plugged into a local church in DC, but this is a regular part of my weekly spiritual routine. Xo

The man who wears balenciaga and 3 thousand dollars shoes every Sunday is the one you go to wisdom for? This man wants money, try listening to a guy like John Piper who takes no royalties if you buy his books. Plus John Pipers teaching is amazing

The messages are life changing. Practical application of Gods word to walk out in daily life. Letting the Love of Jesus shine to others. I am learning how God can use each of us in our everyday walk. Thanks Lori

I live out of state and someone I worked with recommended this podcast to me. To get me back in church in someway. But come on guys adds on your podcast. This is literally the only Christian podcast I’ve listened to that has commercials in the podcast. It’s changed too. He seems to be performing more than preaching now. I’m gonna pass.

I use to follow, but it’s become clear the motive is money. Sad to see, and for that I cannot support you any longer.

I see reviews about money being a priority here yet I’ve never given them money and I’m not limited to any access. I see reviews posted about ads- I ignore the ads… Have you ever stopped & asked yourself how many people this ministry has brought to Jesus??? Have you ever stopped & asked yourself what would happen without these people? I would give every penny I had to be educated about the Lord. Stop trying to bring them down, let them do their work, if you don’t like it thn walk away. They aren’t twisting arms for money, people give & buy because they feel good here and they WANT their money to go to a place that made them feel GOOD.

I was pretty disappointed with the ads. Furtick’s teaching has helped me in cultivating my relationship with God tremendously. It just makes me nervous when ads start appearing because often (what I’ve seen in other ministries) the dollar becomes apparently more important than the Word. Everything changes so I hope the best for Elevation to stay grounded in the Bible. The ads slowed down my listening. I have enough going on. I don’t want to put myself in a position to be persuaded to buy something because when I turn on a Furtick podcast by nature I’m seeking a solution to something I’m experiencing.

The messages are great but I literally listened to 5 minutes of adds before I got to hear anything.

Honestly if you listen to this heretic then you clearly don’t know how to read the Bible and you’re probably not saved.

This guy is making money off of people who are desperate. I can’t stand his voice either

Having commercials in your podcast is wrong. I guarantee God does not approve. You bring millions of dollars a year through tithing, gifts and donations. It does not cost that much to post a podcast. If a small church can do it without selling commercials you can too. The Lord giveth and he taketh away. Imagine how many people you’re turning away from the Lord by having a commercial before and after your Podcasts.

What is with all the ads now? Makes me feel like it's more of a show now than a sermon. Let me get through these ads to get to the Word of God. 😒 and Disney?! Of all companies... 🫠

I have literally listened to over one hundred Pastor Steven Furtick sermons and he is ALWAYS speaking directly to me in every single one!!!! I can’t get enough of his teachings about God and how to have a relationship with Him!

I have been listening to the podcast for some years now. I just learned how to right a review and I must say your messages are a true blessing.

Do your research. This podcast and elevation church is false teaching. Steven furtick is nothing more than a feel good motivational speaker. Thats it. He has removed resurrection and the blood from their easter sermons?!? That’s the hall mark of christian faith. Wolf in sheep’s clothing. So sad.

None of the other christian podcasts I listen to have ads beforehand, or anywhere for that matter. Very disappointed by this addition before the sermons.

Don’t advertise on LGBTQIA+ podcasts. I don’t wanna hear your religious idiot dribble in the middle of hearing about gay sex and drag queens.

Like other reviewers have said.. why are there now ads?! Otherwise Elevation has had a great impact on my life but this is a disappointment

Pastor Steven is such a blessing and I’ve been listening to his podcast throughout my day at work and in the car. His sermons have really helped me grow in faith through my situation and made me depend more on God. I can feel the Holy Spirit talking to me in his sermon “Winded” he used my name Cindy short for Cynthia. As an example and described how strong you can look from someone else’s perspective but it gets “windy for Cindy too”. Everyone one of his sermons speak so clearly to me and I’m so grateful for the word and his teachings from the Bible.

Elevation is my favorite church pastor Steven is a very blessed man of god. I always feel welcomed and apart of the family.

After their Easter broadcast to not say things like “resurrection” or “blood of Jesus” it concerned me. Jesus is supposed to change hearts and they cannot just omit those important phrases. I will stand strong in my stance for Jesus and I can no longer support Elevation church or their music

Please stop monetizing your sermons. The commercials before and after are distracting and are becoming turn-offs.

I used to listen to Furtick DAILY. I thank him for getting me excited to go deeper into scripture. He plays an important part in my walk with God and is a big reason why I even got into youth ministry in the first place. However, the more I started reading my Bible, the less I listened to Furtick. The Bible is for us but we aren’t the main character, yet every sermon on this podcast takes a passage and makes it all about us. l instead of God. When we hear a great sermon, our response shouldn’t be “WOW, what a great speaker he is!”. It should be “WOW, what a great God we get to serve!” I remember doing an in depth study on Isaiah and the Leviathan awhile back and I heard he preached on it recently so I went and listened. A powerful passage of scripture and he reduced it to forming daily habits. It’s crazy because I KNOW he knows how to properly research and exegete scripture (based on his education), yet he neglects all of it just so he can make stuff start with the same letter, point out pointless parts of scripture that have nothing to do with its intended purpose (knew you -> new you), and he’ll say whatever it takes for people to clap and shout (I’ve been to elevation multiple times. He could explain how to make a PB&J and people would shout “WOWWWWW I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT LIKE THAT BEFORE”) I don’t mean this to just bash Elevation and Furtick. It just makes me sad to see the change in him the past 10 years and his church hangs on every word he says without questioning any of it. His sermons reach hundreds of thousands of people every week and I just think “If this would be more sound biblical teaching, how much more could God use this man and Elevation?!” I’m praying for Elevation daily because they have a MASSIVE amount of influence across the Christian world now and I pray that they would use it to show people who the Jesus is and call people to salvation.

God has moved in my life through these sermons, but the resent addition of all these ads makes it really hard to focus on the sermon and stay in the moment. I don’t know if adding the adds was your choice or simply what the app is doing, but I really miss this podcast being ad free😕

I can’t even begin to tell you how timely the sermons on this podcast are for me. Especially today, though it is 1/22/24, I clicked on a sermon from 10/29/23 that was exactly what I needed. I just read the title and clicked on it only to find that it was about Jacob and Esau, whom I had already “coincidentally” been reading about currently and the whole sermon was almost exactly what I’d been feeling and struggling with and was a confirmation of all God has been speaking to my spirit! Thank you, thank you, thank you for being real and speaking God’s truth and that it’s normal to be “blessed, but….”

This podcast is amazing! I love the incredible energy he brings of the word of God to help start your day out right or to help balance you throughout the day! I am obsessed and helps me connect more with the word of God

Best podcast out there by a long shot. Pastor Steven Furtick is incredible. I get so much out of every single sermon, week after week after week. Elevation Church and Elevation Worship are a huge part of my walk with God. Truly life changing. If you haven’t started listening, today is that day. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Steven, Holly, and the whole Elevation team for dedicating your lives to bringing people closer to God, to better versions of themselves, and adding so much joy, inspiration, and love to the world.

I don’t have a church currently but I want to hear sermons and feel close to God. This church’s podcast always makes me feel inspired to do better. This podcast and their sermons are so hopeful and meaningful to me. Very grateful for the word delivered through this church.

Stop hating on “mega-churches” …. They make “mega-impact” God blessed those who are obedient to Him! And this sermons are impactful EVERY SINGLE WEEK! May the Lord continue to be with Pastor Steven and Elevation church.
