    Making History Fun & Relevant
This series, and nearly every episode, is such fun to listen to and brings educational aspects from all angles. It is well worth the time to listen to and thank you to all to help create it.

    Best History Story Teller!
Everyone apart of this team does a great job creating an entertaining and enjoyable history story. It’s currently my favorite podcast

Salem Witch Trials & Buffalo Soldiers
Great series about both the Salem witch trials and the Buffalo Soldiers (especially during Black History Month). Thought I’d heard it all about these trials, but I was wrong. Thank you Lindsay, you’re a great story teller & Ive been listening to your various podcasts for years. Keep ‘em coming!

Lindsay graham didn’t get the memo
Apparently he didn’t pay attention when the majority of the country voted to put an end to the woke insanity going on and the constant racism you hear on every podcast Lindsay Graham owns or works for. Instead of moving on, day after day, show after show, all you hear is constant tales of racism. He’s obsessed with it. Maybe it’ll take most his listeners to stop tuning in for him to get it. It’s sad since it’s a great show minus his racism. Lindsay, there’s more American history than just black mistreatment. Tell it all not just my black history. We don’t want to be singled out. I’ll close with telling you how filthy it makes you look thinking your so virtuous and politically correct.

    Engaging Storytelling
I've always wanted to learn more about history, but I have a short attention span and get bored with facts and dates. His engaging storytelling connects with me in a way that a classroom lecture does not.

    Great history podcast!
This is my go to podcast for driving in the car. The stories are interesting and never fail to help the miles pass quickly. My one suggestion would be to get a female to read the women’s roles. It would help diversify the readings and make it that much more realistic

    More Marginalize Voices
I appreciate the content presented in the American History Tellers podcast and find it engaging. However, one area for improvement is the inclusion of more comprehensive explorations of perspectives that have historically been marginalized within American culture. Enhancing the narrative to incorporate these voices would contribute significantly to a more nuanced understanding of American history. For instance, figures such as Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, and Native American activists, alongside the significance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), could provide valuable insights into the diversity of experiences that have shaped the American narrative. While there are some commendable attempts, such as discussions about the Tulsa riots, the podcast would benefit from a broader representation of these marginalized voices, which have often been misunderstood or portrayed negatively. Acknowledging their contributions would not only enrich the historical discourse but also underscore their role in the pursuit of the American Dream and in the enhancement of America as a whole as well as complete the American story.

    I love this podcast
I think Lindsay does a great job with this podcast. His voices are spot on, and he puts a lot of passion into doing these. A lot of the bad reviews are because of the ads, but I think they’re fine. Lindsay makes some of the ads stories, and it fits in with the podcast. They don’t happen very often, and they don’t last long! Just fast forward them if you need too! This podcast is amazing. I love hearing about the different history stories, and how they impact us today! Their my daily history lesson :)

    Liberal Revisionist
I like history and enjoyed this podcast at first. Got tired of the liberal revisionist history after a while though. Like for instance did you know that everything that has ever happened in the history of America has to do with racism? I’ve studied history for 25 years but didn’t know this until this podcast told me so…in every single episode. When he stated that prohibition in the US was because of racism towards blacks living in inner cities, I had had enough political rhetoric. There are much more objective sources of history out there.

I could listen to Lindsey Graham all day. He makes history come alive.

🎶To the Left, to the Left🎶
An obvious left leaning description of history. Credit given to certain individuals, while luck can only be attributed to others. And apparently America can never do anything right. If you can sift out the bias and think for yourself it’s a good story telling podcast.

I absolutely love this podcast. It helps me get a bunch of stuff done around the house. The ads are kind of long and annoying though, but I understand why we can’t cannot have ads anyway I have to get back to getting to work. This is an amazing podcast absolutely

    Best podcast ever
I love this podcast so much. I listen to it all the time and I really think you should do a series about the Donner dinner party? I’m really interested in learning more about it and yeah.

    Listened to Every Single One!
Nobody does history better than Lindsay Graham. Even the ones I didn’t think I’d like end up being fascinating! My only regret is that he can’t make them as fast as I listen to them. I take him out to the woods while I walk. Beautiful! Thank you!

I love all the podcast Lindsay does. The story telling is great. I have been listening for years with my daughter. (11) she lives how the story is told. The narrative being blended with history and story telling.

I love this podcast❣️they are the perfect length for me! I think this podcast would be a five, but it is a four because the ad breaks are sooooooooo looooooongggg. If you shorten the ad breaks it would be a five. 😌

Advertisements every minute or so make it insufferable
The content of the podcast is interesting, but the advertisements are so frequent that it is not worth listening to.

    1927 Mississippi Flood
I am so happy I found this podcast. My great great grandparents lived through the 1927 flood. They had property on the river close to Greenville. Luckily, they survived. This podcast gives me a glimpse of what they experienced.

I’m Picky And I Love This Pod!
There are lots of podcasts out there, so much so, it is sometimes difficult to find the gems. This is a gem. If a factoid is presented I had not heard before…I look it up and there it is! I hate how many history podcasts, even good ones, go on-and-on about how the actions of these great men (or women) are problematic in today’s society and why it’s problematic, yadda, yadda. Duh! We get it…our species and our doc has evolved. This pod mentions it briefly when necessary and moves on. I like being treated like an adult. I like hearing narration from a professional voice with professional production. And I love interesting story telling that can inform us about our lives today. That’s what history is for! Well done!

    My favorite history podcast format
I absolutely love this podcast and love listening to it on walks and longer drives. It has the perfect mix of narrative and facts, and the interviews with historians at the end of seasons is super engaging. In fact- I’m working on my masters in museum studies and have talked about this podcast multiple times as a good example of disseminating a lot of research into understandable bits.

    Voice actors on latest season
Really love this podcast and was looking forward to this season about First Ladies but sheeesh why the voice actors?? It’s so hard to listen to. Updated this review as the terrible voice actors were randomly brought back again for the newest season.

One of the best shows to listen to!
I absolutely love this podcast series! I have learned so much and can’t help sharing my new found knowledge with others. I’ve recommend this show to everyone I know that I think would enjoy it! It is so well produced and fascinating. I’ve begun listening to other podcasts with this host because he really knows how to captivate his audience.

Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it
This a great pod for history nerds like myself. The information is fact based and presented in very pleasant, digestible stories. The narrative and character actors are great! My only critique would be some of the voice acting could be cast a little more accurately, but definitely a small potato in this excellent historical potato salad! Definitely worth your time.

    American History Tellers
I have thoroughly enjoyed many of the seasons in this podcast. It is informative and very professionally done. It has the same feel as watching the history channel which I appreciate. I would love for more episodes to be done on wars such as WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Being a US Marine I would also love to hear some on the Marines as well. These are my favorite topics to watch in documentary form and I feel this podcast would do a great job on them. I haven’t come across an episode yet that I haven’t liked though and will continue to listen.

    Disappointing Figures
Started off strong, but I feel like other First Ladies have made a more significant mark on our history more so than Michele Obama. The only thing remarkable about her is that she ruined school lunch. She didn’t bring style to the White House (Jackie) or strengthen the war on drugs (Nancy). Maybe consider building on this series for subscribers!
  • Good 'ol jack
    Consistently exceeding expectations.
I’ve listened to this show for years now, and it is consistently incredible. Thoughtful insights and commentary, a very great show indeed.

    Disease Warning
It has recently come to our attention that badrateidis has infected numerous people. Symptoms include: coughing, couch potatoing, and poorly rating podcasts that are woke. Coming into contact with idiots is the lone way to contract the disease. If you feel you have been infected delete your account.

    Renewed interest in history
This show as made me read more about history than all my years of schooling as a child. Truly gripping story telling as someone who drives all over the country for work it’s like have having a personal history teacher with me at all times.

What a “national treasure” American History Tellers is!
American History Tellers was suggested to me a couple of weeks ago in my Apple Podcast app. I love most things American history, so I thought I’d scroll the titles. I was in from the most recent season on First Ladies. I’m starting from Season 1 and I love the way that the imaginative scenes the writers of each episode place you in the shoes of characters in some of the most important chapters of our nation’s history. The short seasons are easy to digest and I’m looking forward to work my way through 250 years of stories to get to the most recent episodes. A great American history podcast!

    First Ladies
Interesting until we get to Obama’s segment. Wonderful that she was a supportive wife but her get up and move campaign was very flawed, the truth of it came out in the documentary “Fed Up”

    History Daily
This is not a good podcast. This is a blatant cash grab with no substance. I enjoy all the other podcasts done by this content provider. But when there are more commercials than content i have to give this a thumbs down. Do not waste your time with this one.
  • Ymmyyames
Podcast great, but race-washing is bad.
The contest is fantastic. But please stop with the misappropriation and race washing through voice acting. Either make it sound accurate or leave it out. It ruins an otherwise great show.

    First Lady’s
The First Lady series has been so eye opening and informative! Humanization of these Historical Figures, allowing one to get to know them so intimately. I learned more than I thought there was to know!
