Glacier1975Doing the right thing when no one is looking. That is leadership. Here men led. With honor. Let’s hope others can follow. We seem to be short a few good men and women these days.
-
MedicrnNever forget! This is supposed to be about World War II history. Never in the history of mankind during a pandemic have a healthy been quarantined. It doesn’t work obviously.
-
OnceVOXOutstanding InterviewsCol Cash is an amazing individual.

dickydipperThe best way to learn historyThe best way to learn history is from those who made it, not from a book pushing the agenda of the writer!!
-
Cgerety1Great Show!A recent find for me. Great to listen to veterans talk about their experiences. Well recorded and edited. Thanks to the interviewers as well. Finally, thanks to all the veterans for telling these stories.
-
SegisooGreat HistoryThis podcast is awesome because it really is just the Vet talking, telling his story. I could live without getting church in my ear for half the podcast - something I wasn’t trying to download - but that’s what forward and stop buttons are for. I love hearing vets tell their stories. Thanks to all of you out there!
-
TXFishmongerThe Candy BomberI can’t remember when I was so moved by a history podcast. This is such an amazing and heartwarming story told so well by a humble hero. I will share it with all who will listen. This should be r

GAA59Such great Americans.I love hearing their stories and your style of just letting them talk. Well done.
-
SsisokHow could I…How could I ever thank each and every soldier who fought in war, but to say, “thank you each, and I’ve tried to live a meaningful life of accomplishment and lived it beholden to goodness as proof of that thankfulness.” Sempre fi!
-
wrightkcOne of my favorite podcastsI like that you can’t hear the questions being asked. It’s more like a story. It’s perfect the way it is. No offense to the listener saying you should get a mike for the host.
-
Keys951Great podcastYou should have Mark Garrison on your podcast. He was a gunship driver in Vietnam and he wrote a book named guts n’gunships. He has such wonderful stories

BandboxxerCompelling content. It could be presented better if the questioner's conversation could be heard.
-
See you cowboyFantastic oral historyFrom the mouths of those who experienced it, this is a unique, valuable and interesting record of those who served. I appreciate the detail in which the interviewees recall their memories. Thank you

SleeepeepyExcellent discussionI really enjoyed listening to this episode. I am looking forward to part two.
-
ThedoctordaveModerator—> can’t hear questionsThis a great podcast. My only complaint is that the difference in volume between guest and person asking questions makes it almost impossible to hear questions. Thanks
-
AdcarTOWMic The Host/InterviewerI LOVE THESE! You gotta get a microphone for the host or interviewers though. I can’t hear the questions being asked and answered. Oorah
-
rmaixkepaxjnzOne of my favoritesI agree with the other reviewers that say the quality of show has decreased but all in all a fascinating and touching podcast, so great to hear the stories straight from the mouths of those that lived them.
-
cheeringforbrownsGood stuffGreat Project to preserve history & allow current generations to have an appreciation of past sacrifices which allows us to enjoy our current freedoms of many types we take for granted.
-
Right-wing FellaGreat podcast!Love to hear the stories straight from the mouths of WARRIORS! Listening will give you a newfound respect for what these MEN went through to keep us free! Wish there were more stories about Korea though. Also wish that overall it was a little louder and the music in between was a little quieter so I could hear better at work but still an awesome podcast, can’t recommend enough!

SavMoney1point0Great podcast for history buffsHistory told by men who were there. Fantastic interviews and storytelling. Long enough for lengthy dog walks. Highly recommended.
-
george 173rdOutstanding job but a single word of advice.Amazing interviews from the people who sacrificed. The ability to receive a first person view and description of the events that took place in history is invaluable. 5 stars for the gentlemen interviewed... now 3 1/2 to the gentleman performing the interview, I think he could use a bit more tact in some of his questions. Just some constructive criticism. Thank you for this weaome podcast.
-
Miguelito2017ExcellentSo grateful for the sacrifice of these men and for the opportunity to hear their stories. Please keep producing them.

SeñorPooreYou must listenAudio problems are corrected after first several episodes. It is just a growing pain. This podcast is a historical must. Thank you for documenting the first person accounts of these warriors. I have been sharing this with all my friends. Please continue to produce more shows on Korea and Iraq.
-
RockerandRoller165Great but volume level a problemAwesome podcast for subject matter. Main problem is often that the volume level of the interviewer is too low to hear when adjusted to interviewee, then unnecessary music in between is too loud.
-
McFeeserInsightful and MovingSo glad that the stories from these heroes were captured to be shared.
-

Andrewww!Everything you could want in war storiesI never write reviews. I must say this is very important historical material perfectly presented. I hope the episodes continue indefinitely to document the countless acts of heroism displayed by US veterans.
-
fourchinniganA Peek into the PastAdeptly edited and informative. Instead of hearing a single professor relay history, hear it from the mouths of those who experienced it and have lived with the consequences.
