Pivot is a highlight of my week twice a week. Kara and Scott share good insights and commentary.

While Scott Galloway offers insightful commentary most of the time (though his rants can be tiresome), Kara Swisher's vanity and self-absorption have become unbearable. She constantly name-drops. She often comes across as believing she's the foremost authority on tech reporting. She’s obsessed with Elon. She trashes him nearly every episode. I prefer Galloway's own podcast. I like that he acknowledges when he is wrong and can change his view on a topic. This is just my take. I could be way off. I’m a 36m. Living in the south. Politically - moderate.

Kara, you’ve gotta get Scott to stop talking about taking ketamine and other drugs. Jokes or not…. It’s inappropriate Scott is often inappropriate about things - He has to remember he’s not sitting with you in your living room - he is broadcasting to a very wide audience

Scott is a number one defender of the establishment regime. His concern trolling about the health of men is merely another opportunity to hustle dumb liberals looking for diet conservatism to explain their recent spate of losses. Enjoy your soy, loser.

I love this podcast. Great mix of silly banter, confident and clearly expressed opinions, and encouragement for lefties in the new wilderness of Trump 2.0. Kara is super smart, Scott is goofy but also very articulate.

Out of touch.

Another great example of how people wth relatively high IQs and a bit of money come to think they are the smartest people in the world. Doge has openly found massive corruption, and yes, there are questions as to how they’ve done it whcih are valid. But to willfully ignore the theft of us citizens to go on unhinged rants about imprisoning young brave men who are trying to show how taken advantage of the common person has been…. It’s a sad state of affairs when these two defend criminals more than our country and more than our authority figures. They actively root for corruption to continue becuase they have enough money it either doesn’t impact them or that they benefit from the governmental money laundering. Not JFKs liberal, that’s for sure. And Scott isn’t moderate at all. Don’t trust his position as a moderate dem. His politics are just being led on a leash by Swisher and the other dying breed of old feminist lesbian elitists that still think we’re in the 60s

Swisher descends into blood libel tinged antisemitism with Galloway politely allowing it while in other venues speaking his mind. The body language shows his disinterest in doing anything but virtue signaling to please his cohost. Both are living in a previous decade, it seems. Times have changed. We have far better options these days.

I usually enjoy another opinion but this show is intellectually dishonest and honestly silly. Waste of time.

Boring, dull, nothing interesting

Honestly comparing the Doge to anything other than finding corruption is insane. It’s so blatant I can’t even stand you for defending the fraud!

As an avid listener I’m very familiar with the ongoing reports and assessments about Mr. Musk’s exploits and foibles. I know he made a bid for, and lost, a large stake in Open AI, and that he’s been attempting to make his mark in AI in some other way. It’s my understanding that building quality AI models requires access to large data stores. Isn’t it possible that Musk’s assault on the various government agencies, and particularly accessing their data, is all in service of his own desire to prevail in the AI space? Thank you. The fact-free talk on this program today about the lack of pushback tells me these two need other sources of news. They could at least listen to Maddow for updates - she’s back on nightly for the first 100 days of disaster so there’s one source. I’m sure there are others.

One co-host that is really mean, curses a lot and talks bad about Republicans and Elon all the time. And the other co-host is a pervert, rich, drug head with low self-esteem that follow the first host. This show should be cancelled.

Scott has made it very clear. He doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with dismantling DEI. He doesn’t think that anybody is targeting women or minorities. It is absolutely grotesque and only someone from his station in life could think that. I can’t even listen to him talk anymore. It’s so disgusting.

5 stars for sure. Great show! People leave bad reviews because they don’t like the political slant, but it is what it is. Sometimes people don’t agree with you haha. I personally find the takes to be well reasoned, well researched, and they are super fun in their back and forths.

Without the banter between just Scott and Kara at the beginning, this is now just another interview show. Why strip the show of the very thing that makes it stand out?

Always an intelligent conversation, that’s never pedantic, with banter that’s the perfect ratio of snarky wit and humor. Kara is an American treasure, and Scott is… well, respectable enough. Great chemistry: highly recommend!

I miss Kara & Scott’s interpersonal banter. Reid Hoffman was a snooze.

OK show, but got tired of the hosts talking about their wealthy privileged lives, especially Scott Galloway. Seems inappropriate given the topics being covered.

100% Trump, 100% of the time. One is anti-Trump, and the other has become a Trump sycophant. His wins and winners are always Trump now, even when he does absolutely nothing to get credit.

I’m disgusted w Scott today for much of what you discussed on today’s show, the Wednesday after the inauguration.

Scott - don’t be an apologist. He supported the German far-right party — direct descendants of the national socialists.

Listening to Scott condescend to explain why Americans should not be subsidized for living in a dangerous locale like California while simultaneously pushing for support for a foreign country draining taxpayers is wild.

For the past ~year Kara and Scott have spent a disproportionate amount of time talking about hotels they like with a wild amount of detail about the service, it really seems like they’re trying to get comped rooms, which I’m sure is happening. For people who spend a good amount of time on the podcast referencing their self-made wealth, it’s odd (and tacky) and I’m sure most listeners don’t care about the hotels they stay in.

I had been listening to Pivot for years and loved it, but took a break when it became too politically biased. Kara was always ultra liberal and unreasonable when it came to political takes, but Scott had been at least somewhat logical. I took a chance and listened to the episode about the California wildfires and it is completely unhinged…it felt like I was listening to Gavin Newsom defend the failings of the state government that has the highest cost of living and charges the highest taxes. Sad that it’s come to this, but they’re not only out of touch with reality but also facts. Facts: California is terrible with regulation, and that’s why there’s a lack of housing and no new reservoirs have been built for the last 10+ years despite a water bond being passed by voters in 2014. Reservoir near Palisades has been empty for a year, and if it is truly climate change then why didn’t the state do anything for fire prevention recently? And why was the fire department funding cut? There’s more than enough blame to go around but Kara and Scott seem more interested in defending how fires happened than looking at the truth.

I’m here for the insight on tech, business, and politics. Please don’t make us listen to Kara talking about her ‘fans’. I do not know another podcast that starts every episode with the hosts talking about how they got recognized and what their ‘fans’ told them. Kara turning, generally everything and anything, into a compliment about herself, makes me feel embarrassed, and I want to turn off. Which is frustrating because I really do want to hear about the actual pod topic. Genuine ask: Can she do it offline? Thanks.

Kara is way past over her head as she’s basically a valley gossip columnist. Certainly not a journalist nor thought leader.

I enjoy the show, I skip over some of the monologues. I am concerned about Kara’s voice, she sounds sick all the time which can be hard to listen to.

Love some of the topics, but Kara’s predictable takes on politics and anything even remotely related makes it hard to listen with the spirit of open-mindedness and learning about news events. The other topics are interesting and enjoy the genuine good natured friendship they enjoy.

Their backgrounds give this podcast incredibly unique potential, but is squandered by their joint narrowmindedness/ignorance. Kara has an extremely narrow perspective and doesn’t ever dig below the surface level of the issues or characters beyond what she knows from the past. Scott is generally great with the things that he is fully knowledgeable about, but there are many things where he knows just enough to be dangerous so he commits strongly to ill informed positions too often for me to continue listening

The most efficient way to guarantee 12 more years of Republican dominance in Washington DC is for Kara to buy the Washington Post. Scott gets this but will probably get roped into investing because he owes his fame to Kara. Very sad listening to this mush-brained egomaniac woman and her idiotic plans. Hope this blows up in her face and loses her tons of money.

Enough about your personal life dude. Love the show, tired of your desperation for attention from the rich and famous. Enough, we get it. It’s drowning out your larger more needed messages about meaning in life. This used to be my favorite podcast. Tuning out, can’t handle the needy dog.

Already my favorite podcast; with today’s exceptionally informative and entertaining episode, it’s even better. Kara and Scott are great!

Love the banter between Scott and Kara. It helps keep me informed about things I might not run across in the news.

Kara’s ego, always huge, has become gargantuan as Scott gains recognition. She feels a need to match whatever new achievement he gains by citing usually an old one of hers. Sad.

Amazing how they can be so spot on from social issues to economic issues and tie them today. Pragmatic and real. Could not be better.

What’s wrong with MSNBC having women over 70 as their main audience? And you say it with such scorn! You’re getting a bit long in the tooth, fella, so you might want to examine your obvious ageism. So is this a denial of your own mortality??? Or is it just against women???

These people are complete phonies. This podcast is an IQ test. I’m embarrassed that I used to trust these people. Please find better people to listen to.

Sam lost me at VP Harris trying to please a “coalition of weirdos.” Ok, get the point about too much identity politics. But when a white man (yep, your identity) calls a coalition that represents a wide variety of Americans “weirdos”, you’ve just gone too far white man. I stopped listening to you there and then.

Too much bragging by Ichabod Crane that another Jewish white dude is rich. But it is amusing he always exclaims “Jesus Christ!” when he’s outraged, blaspheming to millions of bigoted evangelicals.
