It was so funny!!!!!

I’m sitting in my car literally crying😂😂. I wanted a good podcast to listen to before school to start my day on a funny note and I found it. Love this.

Whole series is enjoyable and funny. The sex and the city episode with Wild Horses is one of those eps I will always come back to if I need a hearty laugh. Thanks Lauren!

No podcast has ever made me laugh out loud as this one has. Totally strange, hilarious, and odd podcast - am so entertained by Lauren Lapkus's orginality and strangeness!! Recommend to anyone who needs a good laugh

This has become one of my favorite things on earth and as we’ve been socially distancing in response to covid-19, I’ve been devouring the back catalogue. Every couple days I laugh to myself about Amanda Calzone—a great episode to start with (entitled Betsy Sodaro: The Betsy Podcast) Thanks for the laughs!

One if my favorite comedians of all time!! Every episode is a blast but I gotta give some extra attention to any with her improv group Wild Horses. I swear I cry laugh every time the four of them get together and hope to see them live some day!!

Lauren is a master of improvisation. Her characters will always make you laugh, her references always hit home,and she’s got amazingly funny hosts.

I gave it two stars because, just because. This is like listening to a cocaine rant without the fun of the cocaine. If you need to drown out your brain sadness, these sounds will not do that.

Such an entertaining and creative show!! I absolutely love listening. The diverse, improvised characters keep you guessing, and every week offers an absurd new world to lap up for an hour. Most episodes deserve a second listen. Can’t wait for the next season!!

I miss this podcast so much. Come back Lauren! I need Tracy’s advice in my life. Lauren Lapkus is hilarious. Some of the shows that the guests come up with are totally ridiculous and Lauren totally rolls with it. Favorites include the Tom Leykis episode, Kid Rock talk and the science expert one (in which the “guest” insults the hosts child alien grey nipples).

I just love this podcast—especially the segments with Paul F. Thompkins. Lauren Lapkus is awesome.

In general I am a fan, but this podcast is usually weak based on the guests. Paul is good.

Hands down some of the best improv comedy out there! With a premise as complicated as this, you’d think there would be a handful of episodes that are somewhat train wreck-ey, but being the comedic genius she is, Lauren rolls with whatever her guests throw at her with brilliance. With Special Guest helped me to smile during some of my darkest days while struggling with issues related to PTSD, and for that I will always be thankful. 🙏🏽❤️ -The Turing Test episode with Matt Besser is absolutely some of the best improv I’ve ever experienced in my life. If you haven’t heard it, I hugely recommend looking it up!!

Hands down one of the best improv podcast out there. Lauren and the rest of the cast of Wild Horses will surely make you laugh so hard and make you forget about any problems that you’re having. You’d be a fool not to listen !

Lauren cracks me up with her menagerie of characters. If you’re thinking of jumping in, some of my fave eps that are good to give you a taste are #1, 4, 12, 17, 21, 22, 33, 35, 52, 53, 58, among others. You can start anywhere though, there’s no order, so give it a try and enjoy! I know I will :)

Lauren is one of my favorite comedians. She's always a great joy to listen to. This show is funny and quite brilliantly done. She has on a ton of great guests, including many of my comedy favorites. If you like longform comedy improv at all, this podcast is a must.

I started listening a few years ago and its been on my daily rotation ever since. Many great characters, guests and situations. I'm currently jonsing since January waiting on the latest batch. Whats up with that Lauren? by-eeiiii

I made the pleasant mistake of listening to this at the gym. I was crying laughing on the machines. I’m sure everyone was judging me and I couldn’t have cared less. LOVE IT! So happy I have lots of episodes to go through :)

Special Guest is one of my favorite improv podcasts. Endless laughs, great entertainment. So good, it shouldn’t be free. I mean, I’m not going to pay for it.. but you should. You should pay. I’m grandfathered in. It was my grandmother’s podcast, that’s how I can afford to live here. What?

Lauren Lapkus is so funny, I don't know why she isn't the most famous lady on the planet. Would love an ep with Thomas Middleditch, when they're on CBB as those mystery club kids, I die. The fact she's a different character in each episode shows how much of an improv legend she is, just amazing. Traci Reardon is such a cutie.

Lauren is not only incredibly talented but she makes me truly laugh out loud every day on my way to work. Her sense of humor is unique in the perfect way. I truly dream to one day be as positive of an influence on someone’s life as she is on mine.

I was subscribed to this podcast for background noise, until I listened to the recent ep with Stephanie Allynne. I'm sincerely repulsed (but not entirely surprised) by the amount of r*pe jokes they made. If you have triggers surrounding sexual trauma, please avoid this podcast. They've been wholly inconsiderate regarding that, and I have no reason to believe it won't happen again. (And it isn't even funny.)

Great show. Never know what you’re going to get and the most insanely hilarious stuff will pop up out of nowhere.

Lauren Lapkus is an amazing improviser, and she brings on some spectacular comedian friends as her “hosts.” Love this show!

On occasion I'll listen to With Special Guest while out on the road with my bicycle. This is not a good idea. between the difficulty in respiration because of laughing and the compromised vision from the crying, this is not a podcast suited to two (possibly three) wheeled activities. Please reserve this podcast for hikes and the like.

The title and description might confuse you if you're thinking this is that lady from Jurassic 10 or whatev. But don't be because it is her but she's just a guest on this podcast and changing her voice and acting funny. This is funny. You should subscribe.

It's like if Reading Rainbow and Law & Order had a baby, which could literally be anything.

Love LL, but this podcast can be hit or miss. At times its absolutley hysterical, but the past few episodes have felt pretty repetitive (women talking about relationships). I can't begin to imagine how hard it is coming up with fresh characters so regularly, so I'd rather wait longer between episodes to give LL a chance to breathe! I'll keep checking in though because when LL and her guest hosts are really firing they can have me crying at my desk. :)

The kind of thing you listen to at work, but find you have to constantly stifle your laughter so no one notices.

When this podcast gets it and they pull of the format of a podcast it has me giggling my face off. Unfortunately, I have found that more often than not it's just picking some characters and recording an hour long conversation with no direction, which is painful. I wish every episode had the same level of structure.
