Harvey ButtholeJust finished seasons 1-5And sad it’s over! You guys provided great coverage all the way though and I am a fellow supernatural hater. Completely agree that season 2 was questionable (seriously, how did people like the ufo? One of the worst things I’ve ever seen on television) and also prefer the grounded in reality storylines. Season three has been my personal favorite. Bravo you two! Also, debt collectors are arguably the most evil people in the world, spot on with Lorraine.
-
Hikitty18Only okAdmittedly, I LOVED Fargo Season 5. Recaps were fine here. But, these guys consistently got character names wrong and put forth some bizarre theories and criticisms based on who knows what! Somehow they managed to debate in several episodes whether Roy or Lorraine was more evil. Umm… pretty sure MURDER, grooming a teenager and being a wife beater is WORSE than a somewhat snobbish business woman in the debt business. C’mon guys!!! Wished this whole podcast was just better.

Tex WhitelakeRude HostI couldn’t even make it through one episode. I turned on the first episode of Fargo Season 2 podcast and shut it off halfway through because one of the hosts was continually criticizing the actors physical appearance. It was rude, disrespectful and distracting. It reeked armchair quarterback. Hopefully the rest of the episodes got better but count me out.

kimberely shoeGreat but…I've been an avid listener of your podcast and genuinely enjoy the insightful conversations you bring to the table. However, I wanted to share a piece of constructive feedback. There are instances where it seems one of you might not be fully caught up on the episode's details. This occasionally affects the reliability and flow of the discussion. To enhance the accuracy and depth of your conversations, I highly recommend revisiting each episode twice to ensure complete familiarity with the content. This small step could significantly elevate the already great quality of your podcast. Keep up the fantastic work!

Ashley_84MehBeen listening to Bald Move for a while. Unfortunately, they no longer cover many shows that I watch, so I was excited that our tastes finally matched up with Fargo’s return. That excitement quickly waned as I listened to their somewhat baffling coverage. (In what world is Juno Temple more famous than Jon Hamm? Please be serious.) I don’t know if they’ve been doing this too long or if I have, but this season has been pretty great, yet BM seems more interested in what’s wrong it. And what is the obsession with it being funny? What’s on the screen is much more important than you telling me whatever Noah Hawley said.

cmdmthink they’re smarter than noah…hawley…what kind of arrogant, entitled 3rd rate podcasters think they know more than noah hawley? these two guys! HA HA HA HA HA…egos out of control…smh…

anickoke333Great show really sad attempt at a podcastY’all ever listen to your podcasts? Love the show but listening to you two try to comprehend the most straightforward thing is way too sad. Wowzas.

Ekyby314The best coverage out there. A++As always 5/5 for the Bald Move boys. Prob more likely 9/10 as nothings perfect. As in their opinions on Season 2 ending. Their opinion is clearly wrong but in the end just that, a difference of opinion, man. Bottom line, for TV & Movies BALD MOVE coverage is Prestige. The best out there by a distance. Platinum rated podcasting. A real treat when a show I love crosses over w/ Bald Move coverage. Thanks gentlemen.

GaryU in KyGreat Fargo podcastI’m just now watching Fargo and this podcast has become a go-to listen. Can’t wait to find other podcasts from Bald Move as I watch other shows.
-
J. DennisValuable companionIf you're binging any new show, if the Bald Move crew has covered it, you owe it to yourself to give their recaps a listen. Adds a lot to the experience of the show.

Eva5457💝💝💝Love every podcast. Do yourself a favor & search baldmove & listen to everything these guys do.

BatGuy1288DisappointedTwo clearly intelligent and ambitious podcasters with decent chemistry and show structure. Painfully boring criticisms and praise of a brilliant show and season. Bravo for continuing to put out content about something you have dedicated yourself to covering. Maybe...find a way to engage in a way that makes people want to listen. Your inability to defend your points even to each other makes for a neutral listening experience. Maybe do a rewatch without the news anchor attitude. I LOVE when you’re fans and not “hipsters” or whatever today’s equivalent is of that cultural stereotype is. I believe in you. You’ll GO FAR

futuredrewThis podcast is a true story...The names of the hosts haven't been changed out of respect of the victims and the stories are discussed exactly as they occured.

WolfzuesAwesome podcastThese 2 hosts are so great. I subscribe to 5 or so of their podcast and cannot get enough of Bold Move. For the complainers of the show...chill out and stop being whiners. The personality of the hosts and knowledge of the shows these guys review are exactly what's needed for a great podcast.

PocketPetsMissed You Guys!I haven’t listened to you since the end of Mad Men. I’m only watching Fargo this season because I’m a McGregor fan, so this will be my last viewing. Not my type of show, but I adore McGregor, and it was worth it just to find you guys again. I love your humor and your insight. I’m probably going to switch to basic cable via Uverse, so I’ll have more money, and I will join your club. I really am interested in your parody of the Riverdale series.

bobbycar88Big Time ImprovementOK now we're talking. In depth, detailed, Very informative. So much better. I am a listener of Bald move, respect the work. Thanks. I'm going to redact my earlier review. I really enjoy this well researched podcast. Kudos from the Pacific Northwest.

Justinjustinjustinbobinsightful dissectioni can't get enough of bald move. these guys have started to feel like old friends because i've listened to so many of their podcasts. i really appreciate their casual banter, their insightful dissections of the material and their ability to challenge each other on a variety of topics. i listen to podcasts for shows i haven't seen in over a year and it brings it all back and it's spectacular to "re-watch" something again, thru the lens of in depth discussion. bald move is like english class and discussing a classic with teachers that you like and content that you want more of. thanks dudes!
-
TheGoodManCrapDid these guys ever watch the show? I've never heard a podcast that was less prepared. They didn't remember aspects of the episode or got them completely wrong. When talking about previous seasons, they couldn't remember the Kitchen Brothers name (really, you can't remember that name?), Kirsten Dunst (she was referred to as "the girl who kissed Spiderman:) and then said that jerry Lundergard kindnapped his daughter in the film (was his wife). That was enough for me. You get the impression that one is lukewarm to the show and other hates it. I dislike golf, so I wouldn't pick that topic to do a podcast. And if I did, I would at least do my homework. Guys, if you see the person that subscribed and unsusbcribed on May 1, that's me! To anyone who reads this, don't put even that much effort into it.
-
THEREALDCOFFGoofyA commentator just said that Carrie Coon's character is backwoods and homophobic for wanting a masculine influence in her son's life? Immediate unsubscribe. Do better. Expect better from yourself
-
waltersobchekWow the bad reviews shock meLuv the show and the bald move
-
Beachbum1974Not fansI've listened to a few different bold move podcasts and just can't do it anymore. I really just listen to get more intel on the show but instead one of the guy just likes to say how he's this close to quit watching the show because of some of the story lines. Just kind of negative to a show I love and I don't really agree.

86FlohrNitpicking and skepticism doesn't = intelligent criticismAron is so annoying. I thought the Legion podcast was bad but man this is rough. Constantly nitpicking little details is not a worthy substitute for thoughtful analysis. I'm sorry to come off harsh but it's really an insufferably smug and pedantic stance to adopt in relation to artworks which are the product of entire teams of intelligent and talented people's hours and hours of hard work. Have some hermeneutic generosity! You seem to assume that anything which doesn't immediately present itself to you transparently or easily meet your expectations is a mistake. Maybe consider that the error is in your reception and not in the object of your interpretation. I never post rants like this but the attitude towards these quality shows was so insufferable I felt the need to say something. Again, not saying you can't be critical, but the way you are going about it is not insightful or interesting.

Jpg 95628Solid "Cast" for a excellent showEnjoy multiple casts from Bald Move! Another solid follow.

GiantsFan518Another Great Podcast from Bald MoveThese guys are simply the best. I love their coverage and analysis of some of the best shows on TV. They do a great job of recapping the episodes and are very informational about news and theories involving each show they cover. This is a must listen.
-
Steve Holt!!!1Great as usual.I finished the amazing Breaking Good podcast and now I'm halfway through this one, no complaints.
-

adg032106Not a simple episode reviewIf you’re just looking for a simple EPISODE REVIEW, this is not the podcast to listen to. I don’t want to take anything away from their knowledge of Fargo. They are very informed on the writings and characters in the Fargo world(movie/series). Way too much cross-comparison of the movie/s01/s02. It becomes confusing. The episode review strays too far away from actually reviewing the episode.
-
TheCompDoctorInsufferableI have enjoyed some Bald Move podcasts but this one is really unlistenable. They alternate between on the one hand trying (and failing) to use vocabulary words that are way beyond their intellect and elocution skills and on the other cursing and sputtering (often incorrect) information about these episodes that they’ve clearly barely watched. Lose these guys and just read Sepinwall (who they get most of they ideas from) instead.
-
LightngsvtLike ItIve become a fan of Jim an A.Ron over the past year or so and actually started watching fargo based on them talking about it. I like the show and the podcast is pretty good too.
-
@LookingBackLostSmart Chatter, So-So Hosts, Declining PodcastHaving been with this podcast since day one, the season two finale will be my last one listening. The points they raise are generally good, but this is a podcast marred by sophomoric language, petulant points of view, and outright lazy observations about "Fargo, Minnesota," and actor "Martin Sheen Something" (by which they mean Martin Freeman). Conclusion: they can't be troubled to open a map or IMDB. They also fail to connect even basic dots. Wondering if anyone knew about (spoiler) Hanzee's parentage whilst ignoring his being called a "half-breed" by his half brother is just lazy podcasting. Good luck with season 3, guys. I won't be back.
-
RumslutNot part of the lovefestSorry but this podcast is not all everyone makes it out to be. All season long they’ve been talking about the two Coen brother movies that influence this season (often getting them wrong and contradicting themselves). And admitting that they hadn’t seen Miller’s Crossing, which is one of their most smartly written movies, they never-the-less don’t allow that to get in the way of their review. And if I hear either of them, shoehorn in Deus ex machina one more time, I may vomit. Other than their own opinions, I hear nothing from these two to give them the credentials to critic these shows. When they can’t come up with a college philosophy vocabulary word to demonstrate their elitism, they quickly resort to vulgarities. Do yourself a favor; if you are at all interested in any of the shows they drone on about, skip their two cents.
-
GnarmacIt's great they do the show, but...I'm glad they do the show, because it's kind of like having some friends to recap the show with, but the Baldmove guys leave a lot to be desired. I find they are fairly dismissive of things they don't quite understand and of listeners who submit comments. Their reviews tend to just be what they thought was "cool." As in "that headshot was cool!" or "that scene with the car was cool!" What I'm really looking for is a podcast that adds a layer of value on top of the show I just watched, not just going down the checklist of whether or not stuff was "cool."
-
BP231Simply the bestThis Fargo podcast is by far the best Fargo podcast out there. I like forward to it helping me sort my thoughts on the show as well as recap things I might have forgotten each week. Makes you realize how much depth the show truly has. A gem.
-
joekimnoahUnimpressedThese guys couldn't even remember that Bear's older brother was mentioned in a key scene in episode 4, when Floyd told Joe how her first son was killed -- had half his head blown off by a sniper in the Korean War. A better recap pod is aw jeez by Minnesota public radio.
