    I. Want. To. Be. In. This. Game.
It has been such a glorious journey with you all! I’ve got over 100 more episodes to go and I am SO hooked! It makes my little GM heart so happy to hear a whole table have such dedication and joy in RP. Not only with NPCs but exemplary RP with each other. I’ve yet to able to experience it in a game myself. Brava/o!! It’s been such a great ride being able to experience not only the growth of the characters, but especially being able to witness the evolution of players and GM. Brought into sharp focus after listening to the B side episodes. ~applauds~ Dustin I appreciate your GM style. You’re just snarky enough. Lolol You don’t fall into the trap of GM Vs Player that plagues so many tables. Much respect. Your ability to interpret dice rolls and weave together a story is a pleasure to listen to. Dustin, you are a storyteller. The buy in from your table is just so great. The passion and enthusiasm your players have for the exemplary characters they have created brings me joy. I LOVE the bonds system. Each player is invested in the whole table in addition to their own creation. Encouraging growth and being there to support the challenges of the distinct personalities. Wanting the best for each in ways that challenge their own comfort levels. Consistently. Amazing. Hero points being the reward for accomplishing bond goals. Dig it. Even more though that the table is so ambitious beyond game rewards also inspires much love. Such a wonderful table to witness. Side note. The way the table uses said hero points. Excellent. HEROIC FEATS OF DARING DO! I also share the great honor of being able to be a GM for Mr Angel Espinoza. His characters are just so inspiring to myself and his fellow players. He really sets the bar on RP tings. Bringing to me a desire to be a better GM for all my tables. We are among the gifted few Dustin. HURRAY FOR US!!! Okay. Before this massive gush goes on tooo long. Odessa and Jim. Wonderful. Jim is so cute it’s almost unbearable! (Yes. I too am classified GameDad Lolol) Kay I love how you’ve interwoven so many aspects into Odessa. Trauma. Addiction. “Disabilities” that to her are simply challenges she over comes continuously. She is unabashedly herself even in moments when she has to face things she would rather not. Exemplary Kay. ~more applause~ Pippa. I love this little halfling. It’s mind boggling to me how so much personality can fit inside 28# of Rogue Sorceror! Providing focus and encouragement to one and all from under the nearest table. Lol Loxely indeed. My favorite rogues have been characters that simply want to redistribute wealth. Hehe Of course operating funds are necessary to redistribute effectively. ;) THE MIGHTIEST MAGIC MISSILES IN ALL THE LAND!!! Get it Abby! ~more more applause~ P.S.- EFF. ORANGE. Find. dragons. that is all Menet. Your arrival brought SO MUCH to the game. I’m not evil. I PROMISE. The heart of the group. I feel like the most emotionally aware and that means also that when you see an enemy. THE CHARGE HAS BEGUN! Odessa has spoken to you about this… Jessica you’ve done an amazing job of giving your audience the scope of Menet’s experience. Since her teen years it’s been one template of life. You communicate and express the changes she is forgoing so well! I personally love the glimpses of real Jess Vs Menet as well. You’re great! ~MOAR applause~ Abraxas. My very favorite wolf man. So much so that whenever a werewolf is mentioned now and forever I think of Abraxas. I didn’t touch your torta!!! With your permission I may use Abraxas as an NPC in games I’m running you aren’t in lol. CANNON WEREWOLF ACTIVATE! Angel you’re such an amazing player. I’m honored to call you friend. ~applause crescendo~ Can’t wait to dive back into the next episode. None of these words do any of you justice. Stay Ossum one and all! ~Jason~

    Simply Scrumptious
The fantastic worlds crew, the old and the new, are in fact fantastic at everything they do. I’m in love with first storyline and excited to experience the new greatest show on earth storyline with great characters across the board. From team torta to the circus crew their characters with personalities (and some have pizazz)and great people who are a joy to listen to. I find myself laughing with them and even crying with them and I anticipate the new episodes constantly. I love what y’all do and I hope you keep it up 💛

    Exciting New Places!
I decided to jump in and give Fantastic Worlds a listen at the start of "The Greatest Show" and the only thing I regret is waiting for so long. They have great chemistry and fill my day with smiles and joy. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to start listening to the rest of their shows.

Having fun and a great diverse cast!
Another fun podcast for pathfinder. Great representation and diversity on the cast and their primary rule is fun first and yet they still work to follow the rules as well. Paizo now officially supports them as well!

    Rare Find
Fantastic Worlds Podcast is a must listen. It is rare to find a group with this great of chemistry and have just as much talent weaving a story! I will definitely continue to listen to this group!

A gem in the haystack of actual play podcasts
It’s obvious effort is made in the production, and the players are excellent at developing and acting upon their characters’ motivations and personalities. Though they goof about it, there isn’t any meta gaming and it’s obvious they play with integrity. Yes, as in any complicated game I’m sure mistakes are made, but I’ve yet to listen to or play in a game where that doesn’t happen. They truly keep the game fun, with high stakes, and fascinating back stories. I’ve never played Pathfinder, though I have listened to and watched it played. This is a group that revels in the fun of the game, and it comes across in every episode.

You got me to write a review
This group is fantastic and fun to listen to. The roleplay is super engaging and makes my heart hurt at times with how genuine and fun all the characters are. I'm running Reign of Winter currently and love hearing another (mostly) queer party playing through it and seeing how they approached the different encounters. Highly recommend ths to anyone that is a fan of Glass Cannon, Critical Role, High Rollers, or Find the Path. Truly exemplary work.

    Fun diverse group
After commenting on Twitter about another podcast that lost their one and only female member of the group without comment this podcast was recommended. I was tired of listening to a bunch of man child types guffawing over tiresome jokes that I was bored with at 12 years old. This podcast hit the spot and I enjoy the camaraderie and play style. After joining the discord channel I found that they are just as nice there as they seem to be on the podcast. Give it a listen...the adventure they are on is quite different from some of the other Pathfinder adventures that we may have experienced playing or on other related podcasts.

    I'm Hooked
I first learned of FWP when I stumbled accross one of their Twitch streams and was encouraged to check out the podcast which I did (me having zero TTRPG experience) and I loved it!!! As mentioned before, the first couple of episodes were a touch rough but the group quickly started to find their rhythm, seeming to focus on character development, RP and story first and gameplay second. The players are lots of fun, the characters are great and the Reign of Winter AP is really cool (Pun not intended)
  • ogrenoah
    Love it
I've wanted to run/play the Reign of Winter AP since I learned it existed. Baba Yaga and Pathfinder in one? Listening to these friends play this game with so much enthusiasm is wonderful, and I'm having a delightful time catching up to the current episode. Only 8 more until I'm caught up!
  • Vectorwork19
    Delightfully Queer
It has been amazing to listen to this group grow together over the last year. This is hands down one of my favorite TTRPG podcasts. The camaraderie of the players is contagious and it really feels like you're at the table with a bunch of friends. I love getting to listen to this podcast and I'm so excited every Wednesday when a new one pops up in my player.
  • Gaming On The Rocks
Come for the AP, stay for the characters
The characters personalities and relationships are the forefront with similar connections between the players secondary with game mechanics a distant fourth. With that formula this makes for a highly customized telling of a pre-written story. Playing through the same adventure path set out by these World Travelers I am seeing different parts I either missed or just never came up on our own journey to find Baba Yaga. Every week comes excitement to see how this group navigates that quest.

Amazing group and game to listen to
I recently started listening to this podcast again, and I have been blazing through the first 30 episodes to catch up to the current ones. The characters are great, the chemistry of the group is fun to listen to, and the battles they face are always exciting and also scary. Laughs and tragedy are doled out in equal measure (well, more tragedy I guess because they are battling bad things everywhere they go) and it’s always fun to listen to. I can’t wait to see what adventures await this group of brave heroes!
  • k00gs
    Fantastic show
I cannot stop listening since I found this podcast only a few weeks ago. The group chemestry is great. Their role playing moments are well done and really add depth to the story. They add humor and drama and have thoroughly sucked me into their Fantastic World. I can't wait to see where else they will go!
  • Litteraly Satan
    Wonderful
A beautiful show, so glad we get the chance to listen to these dorks get started on such adventures! Also a quick update: as of episode 39 these nerds have induced tears at work twice now. So beware of the intense feels!
  • Derequa

    A weekly pleasure...
I look forward to this podcast every week and long for its arrival each day until it airs again. Lol, that was melodramatic. Seriously though, I really enjoy listening to these characters and the story they are telling.
  • Fern_Gulley
    A fun and quirky adventure!
It’s fun. It’s feminist. It’s queer. It’s slightly unhinged. I love it. This is the second Pathfinder actual-play podcast I’ve subscribed to as I’m preparing to start GM-ing an adventure path. The other podcast I listen to is longer-running and more “professional”, and I’ve learned a ton from it, but Fantastic Worlds feels much more accessible and more like my people. I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for 13 years, and I’ve never played with another woman for more than a single session. The guys I play with are great and super easy to play with, but I LOVE listening to some ladies at the table killing it and having fun. Listening to Dustin as a GM gives me another view on a narrative style of running games (not how I played growing up), and I love the way the crew plays their characters in a believable way as real people and not just tragic yet motivated heroes or flat personality optimized killing machines.
  • Piercedpeekachu
    We need more!!!
I listen to this show while I’m at work, and have flipped off Dustin a couple of times with how he ends the episodes at times. But have to admit he does a great job of running the show and the few times he rolls well you tend to side on the players half and question his rolls. Kept up the great job and I can’t wait to see the cookbook in pdf format
  • BlitheringWither
    Great cast!
I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who is looking for a great adventure! 6/5 stars!

    A fantastic adventure!
What a fun show! Using the Pathfinder system and the Reign of Winter Adventure Path, the crew (Dustin, Abbie, Kay, Angel, and Jess) are creating a memorable adventure for everyone. - As a player, it’s helping me embrace the joy of wacky ideas AND the power of poignant moments (i.e., having fun, but taking the story seriously) - As a GM, it’s helping me learn the importance of creating challenging encounters for both the system (roll-playing) and the characters (role-playing) - As a person, it’s helping me do a better job of listening to the stories created by communities that are often marginalized in the gaming subculture. Kudos for a great run so far, and congrats on finishing book 1 of the AP!

    Great podcast
Love the podcast, all the characters are awesome and well thought out. The players are funny and enjoyable.
  • Jorrrt
Easy to listen to, easy to love.
I’ve really been enjoying the focus on bonds and character building, and the amount I’ve gotten to learn about the players themselves! Very few other podcasts got me invested so quickly.
  • nerdofthedeep
    Very fun
Good roleplaying and a very relaxed friendly feel. Highly recommended.
  • The_Blindian
    Lots of fun!
In 2018, I really got into podcasts and DND and Fantastic Worlds meets both of those needs! I happened upon them by a random Instagram interaction and I’ve been hooked ever since! The group is hilarious, kinda like my own group of friends, so it feels like I’ve just made some new friends! Would definitely recommend

    Top 5
You all put on a heck of a show! Love this groups chemistry!

    Better and better every week!
I thought the first couple of episodes showed a lot of promise but were a little rough around the edges. However, it did not take this crew long to start firing on ALL cylinders. Not only are they entertaining, but they are really invested in roleplaying and telling a good story — without getting bogged down in pretentiousness. “Game Dad” keeps it on the rails, while letting his players shine, and the result is a great adventure. Highly recommended!

    Awesome job
The first three cast were awesome and I can’t wait for the next ones to come out and make sure to always look for adventures and to always keep the characters on guard the road ahead is treacherous and BTW HAVE FUN

So much fun to listen to! I really enjoy the characters, the plot has a bit of a slow start but has the potential to go somewhere interesting, and it was easy to get into. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

    Wonderful World!
Really fun world, with very interesting characters. It doesn't get bogged down by rules lawyering or well actuallys, but it does spend time with fun little side trips and humor. Good friends playing a great game together. A+ recommend!
