🙅👀👌👀📺Keep it goingApparently the podcast is coming to an end but if y'all could pick it back up later down the road the fans would definitely appreciate it. Great job with everything you've done so far. It'll be missed

JayHarris2686Something is wrongI just listen to you guys on the Joe Budden podcast so I came to check your podcast out I'm listening to the Monica episode and right in the middle of her talking it starts over. So I skip to her talking again it's playing fine then it starts over again. This has to be fixed & you can't fast forward through the episode with the bar you have to keep hitting the 15 second button

Kaydee143Subscribe, Subscribe,SubscribeWhen you lose something that you dearly appreciated growing up, and now it’s slowly coming back like R&B music and not dead as many people have commented in the past makes me extremely happy. But now finding this dope podcast that Rob and Kristen created and speaks my language, I am just hooked. The passion for music 100% felt on this end. I definitely like the mix of the 90’s R&B and the New R&B talk. Without a doubt check out this podcast you will not regret it.

Kwoods89Loving This ...I'm an original RB lover going back to New Edition, Dreamboys, Ready for the World, Melissa Morgan, Zapp, Jody Whatley. So the 70s made me, the 80s raised me but 90s defined me !! Loving this podcast because you focus on the RB. The whole genre is dying off right now. Glad to hear someone is out here trying to keep what's left of it in the our ears !! Best podcast doing to RB !!!! Keep up the good work ... Much love !!

Musicloverman86I'm a fanI came across the RLS podcast on Soundcloud with their first episode "Boyz II Men vs Jodeci" (Boyz II Men over Jodeci all day btw), and I've been hooked ever since. Rob Markman and Kristin Coral have great chemistry, they interview artist who are well-known (R. Kelly, Melanie Fiona, Jahiem, etc.) and up & coming artist who are grinding and building a following (Bridget Kelly, Audrey Rose, Tangina Stone, etc). People who are in the industry and/or behind the scenes are also on the podcast from time to time. Thanks to them I found out Eric Bellinger was more than a songwriter. Love his album "Cuffing Season". If you love R&B, I think you'd enjoy this podcast. S/O to Loud Speakers Network, ya'll got another poppin' podcast! Thanks Rob & Kristin

MusicologymeAmazing way to help artists!Love learning about all of these new artists on the podcast ! Also the artists who just haven't released music in a while !

Lester BurnemIf you love R&B this podcast is for you! When I first tuned in to RLS I was blown away by the nostalgic feeling I got. It was so refreshing to hear people talk about R&B with so much passion, especially these days where it’s becoming a lost art. From the moment Rob started quoting lyrics from a Boyz II Men song to back up his Jodeci argument I was hooked. As each week passed I found myself tuning in as soon as I saw a link go up on social media. 8 weeks later R. Kelly himself thanked the podcasters for keeping R&B alive! I even got the pleasure of meeting them at the Apple Store in Soho it was a great interactive experience. If you love R&B music you need to tune in to RLS. YOU WON’T REGRET IT!
-
MsMoneyPenny84Amazing conversations!I am a life long R&B lover and I'm so happy to have a place to come where I feel such a connection w the dialogue and the music.
-
s.candler27Brilliant ShowI love every episode and hope it continues to grow. This podcast made me appreciate r&b even more than I already did. Salute to Rob Markman & Kristin Coral. Keep up the great work.
-
@EyeroneR&B Insight!!I think it's dope that this podcast centers the conversation about R&B. It seems like R&B is disappearing & this show proves that there is a crowd who appreciates the same style of it.
-
NellzATCDope R&B PodcastDefinitely needed in the podcast world.
-
amirahrashidahThis Is NeededI'm currently listening to the Ryan Leslie podcast and this is one of the more informative music podcasts that I've heard. I'm so appreciative of this show's focus on R&B, a genre that has been diluted with many other genres in pop culture. It's nice to have a show focus on the genre and show all of the talents that label themselves as R&B artists. Great concept! I can't wait to hear more from RLS!
-
Jonathan MenaSALUTEMarkman and Kristin you both really did your thing on the Ryan Leslie episode. SALUTES! ✊🏽
-
SandrewsBarbershop Style Debates for R&B…DopeI really enjoyed listening to the Jodeci v. Boys II Men debate on episode 1. Looking forward to catching up and the new episodes.

-
Ray. RI’m enjoying this!Wasn’t sure how this would be, being that R&B is such a broad genre, with different style of artist. BUT, I have to say I really enjoy this! Plus, artist that I’ve heard of, but never paid much attention to are getting shine. Thanks to this podcast, I’m a new Eric Bellinger fan! Shoutout!
-
BigggDreDopeA breath of fresh air. A great discussion & reminder of some of the greatest R&B music that helped raised us.

Smilez1988Love the R&B talkI've been a fan of LSN and the different shows for a few years and now that they've brought on Red Light Special I'm super hype cuz I love Hip-Hop but R&B is my true love! Hip-Hop from Combat Jack & now R&B fix from RLS. PS love the R&B bracket talk on Budden's show!
-
Cdf3412Dopest podcast in the gameCould we have expected anything less than pure dopeness from the OG Rob markman SALUTE!!!
-
_VaunDopeLove what the podcast is doing for R&B. There's a lack of places to discover new music, this podcasts opens up an avenue for that.
-
Heir JordanDopeGood listen.

Shannon GlennonListen...Being this good, this early on, is definitely hard in an already saturated music podcast market, but when you have hosts that are not only knowledgable about the topic, but easy to listen to and willing to give their opinions on the music without holding back, you can't really go wrong. Only four episodes in and I feel like this podcast has been around forever (or should have been!) It lets me know it's only going to get better. Each episode, while similar in set up, has a different and relative guest spot, fan submitted questions about anything to do with relationships, and a solid "two sides to every story" vibe that really hits all the marks. If you're like me and have been waiting for a discussion about both classic R&B and the present state of it, then Red Light Special is what you need to be listening to.
-
Mateo ToroNeededWe’ve needed a R&B dedicated podcast in the game for a while now, glad Rob Markman is curating it, perfect for when Im delivering pizzas!
-
ScNy DrizzMajor R&B LoverThis is a fantastic podcast about the wonderful world of R&B with great guests & debates about the music that happens to be the soundtracks to our lives. Keep up the good work, Rob & Kristin... We're listening..
-
KWR550The first R&B podcastThis podcast is on point with the guest and the host. I'm not a big fan of the fan questions at the end, because it seems out of place for the type of podcast. But overall I like the show and don't be afraid to go back and get older generation R&B acts I think they would be great interviews as well.
-
Mall313Love the ShowThank you for the show! Wish it was longer and you guy could play full songs.
-
princessamamaka93Perfect!I've found my new favorite podcast station. Great interviews.
-
Silver (BBMP)5 star showRob and Kristen pair up to make this a great listening experience. Really enjoy their insight on their topics especially since I share some the same views. The chemistry, content and guests definitely makes this a show that must go on!
-
KraigMEnjoying these castsThis the young Howard stern of interviewing on the grind over here. Knowledgable conversations ain't never been a crime to me.
-
KingLyteInnovative & it has the “It” FactorRob Markman and Kristin Coral, these two need to be on the Radio as well, straight pure chemistry together. The personalities of these two compliment each other so well, the content they speak on and the vision is what is needed. They are the voice that has not been heard in a while , and we finally have that, the Voice of R&B. Can’t wait to see what else these two have up their sleeve and that void the “Red Light Special” will fulfill. Great Work Guys Keep It Up. !!!!!!!!

MattyG914Don't sleepAt first I wasn't sure if a podcast dedicated solely to R&B would be for me given that I am more of a rap fan, but based off Rob Markman's contributions to hip hop journalism and the fact that Mack Wilds was on the first episode, I figured I'd give it a shot. It was definitely worth it. Most podcasts take a while to develop chemistry but from the jump this was more like a conversation amongst friends than a podcast. Will be checking future episodes and wondering when NORE gonna answer the phone... Jodeci > Boyz II Men
-
bryan beckfordAn R&B Podcast from people know musicThis is really dope podcast with a large network behind it! Rob and Kristin make a perfect team and I can't wait to hear more.

L!zB!tchCongrats KrisMy brother and I really enjoyed it. Boyz II men all day!

At55Phenomenal PodcastThere are times when you hear about a podcast and immediately realize what a genius idea it is. RLS is that type of podcast because R&B needs this type of forum. Rob and Kristin have the perfect chemistry for this show. After their first episode, the mutual passion for music and healthy debates is evident. Looking forward to more from their upcoming work together through RLS. Mack Wilds was a great first guest. He seemed super comfortable with the hosts. Thinking future guests will be just as engaged and just as candid, which is refreshing. Here's to a great idea, insightful hosts and entertaining guests.

TheAlexisPaigeR&B Lovers, This One's For You!As someone who goes by the nickname "theoldschoolkid" due to my obsession with 90s R&B, you can imagine how pleased I was to hear Rob pose the classic debate: Jodeci vs. Boyz II Men in the first episode. Rob & Kristin say what we're all thinking about classic and current soulful artists and offer a thoughtful, fresh perspective on searching for quality during a day and age where good jams have become too hard to find. Love it!
-
BK CyphThis is AMAZING!loved this first episode. Honestly there is nothing like this that deals with R&B in this way. Kris and Rob have a day one fan right here. Can't wait for the next episode.
