Political Junkie with Ken Rudin MPR News
(Side note, not to be confused with “Ken Rudin’s Political Junkie.”). The rating reflects the podcast itself and not the content. The segments are still some of the most informative 15-minute round-ups of the political week. However, I am not clear what the point is of having a separate podcast when MPR fails to regularly update it and sometimes downloads Ms. Miller’s show in its entirety which defeats the purpose of having a separate podcast. It has been a month (November 11, 2018), since the last download. The point of subscribing to a podcast is to have the desired program available to easily listen to — not to have to go on a search every week. MPR needs to get it together or remove this as a separate podcast altogether. The fact that this podcast is clearly an after thought is a pity and makes MPR look rather amateurish.

    Video killed the radio star
I am so confused as to why Kerri Miller would start her show talking about a button for several minutes but never describe it. Seems like a radio host, especially for MPR, should be able to use descriptive language to paint a picture for her listeners rather than talk about how funny it is and then refer us to her Twitter. Kind of hard to pull up Twitter while I’m driving to work, listening to the show

    Ken is a national treasure!
Although I don't like this short podcast as much as Ken's full hour Political Junkie podcast, Ken is just the best. His smarts and great personality makes him someone I'd love to hang out with for a while. Love you, Ken!

    A must-listen podcast
I never missed Political Junkie back when Ken Rudin was on NPR. And I don’t know how I could make it through this crazy political season without his keen insight, corny jokes and terrific guests. This is my very favorite political podcast, I only wish it could come out twice a week, rather than only every Thursday. It’s great!

Ken Rudin is great, and the host asks the right questions.

    October 26 episode
I think MPR downloaded the wrong news hour. I really wanted to listen about Jeb Bush not long drawn out interview of a British author. Please post the correct episode

Excellent podcast for anyone interested in politics both current and past. I love the variety of the show and the way Ken keeps the dad jokes coming. I listen every week!

A "Must have" if you like politics
Ken's podcast is timely, amusing, informative, and politically balanced. He interviews real local experts--not a paid talking head among them. The This Week in Political History feature is a gem. I look forward to my Thursday commute home because that's when I listen to Ken. Anyone who likes politics should be getting this weekly podcast.

    political junkie fix, at last!
Have missed Ken Rudin and Political Junkie on TOTN. I am ecstatic it has returned. Would love to see a separate segment with Neal, as the chemistry between them was obvious. For those asking about Scuttlebutton, it is posted on his website.

    Happy and elated!
I am a huge follower of current events and political happenings, and was so sad to hear about NPR canceling “It’s All Politics” this past summer. It made my weekend to recently discover Ken Rudin is back in the game, and I love the new podcast! It’s the ‘inside-baseball’ talk you always wish you had with friends without the bitter ideology, and I am excited to keep listening. I wish I found out sooner that Rudin is back behind the microphone!
