I've been a big fan of Kai and Marketplace for a long time and I was really happy to see this podcast "live on" past the summer conventions. Kai and Andrea have a lot of fun talking with each other. I also like that they disagree on things BUT at the same time they respectfully consider the others opinion/view. This is something which is missing on cable or broadcast news these days. I would recommend this podcast l to anyone who wants to dig a little deeper into the changes that are taking place right now in DC and what they could mean for you and me, and our kids. It's also not a long podcast, maybe 10-12 min per episode. Kind of like an appetizer but much more palatable than the main course you get on the cable news.

Insightful and a pleasure to listen to M-F

This is a must listen regardless of where you stand on the political spectrum. Andrea and Kai are great journalists and it is a pleasure spending my commute with them as they speak and unpack the important issues with humor, insight, and a clear eyed approach you don't always hear. It feels like you're listening to them at a bar after a couple of IPAs (still sober, just loosened up a bit) and wish you could join them and pick up the next round

This is a fantastic podcast, it's great to hear insightful and pragmatic dialog from those who have great experience and the ability to break down concepts so they are easy to understand. It's great to listen to now that Politics are on Mars.

good reporters, who know politics and the economy inside and out, they call it like it is. quick listen and DAILY, which with the pace of news right now is SO necessary. Andrea rocks and so does Kai. So glad Marketplace is helping me understand whats going on in the world right now.

This is measured, informed, insightful dissection of daily political happenings in the US. Andrea is so much experience inside of congress that I lessen to her with full attention. Please keep making these!

This podcast is right up my alley! Smart, clear, energetic. I'm impressed with how fair you guys are, and authentically truth-seeking, while still being direct. Since just before the election season, I have been drowning myself in political podcasts trying to make sense of it all... This one is a breath of fresh air -- refreshing and puts things in perspective. Plus the production quality is so polished. Keep it up, you guys are fabulous! Seabrook/Ryssdal 2020? Please?

I really like this Podcast a lot! I like how they answer questions about the up coming president elect! I'd like to see more questions from us read by them and maybe answered by someone who is in the know.

As soon as this podcast was brought back with Kai and Andrea I swear I did a little jig! I follow Kai with nothing but glowing praise and admiration and loved listening to Andrea during the first incarnation of the pod back during the conventions. The two make a great pair and their insights are invaluable. I look forward to this podcast every week day and hope they don't stop even after Trump's inauguration! -Jenny

As a big fan of Marketplace, I was excited to hear about this new venture for Kai and Andrea--it has not disappointed me yet! It's a witty and engaging dive deeper into various hot-button issues around the recent uproar in politics since Election Day, and it does so in brief snippets that don't overwhelm a listener. Keep them coming!

When this podcast came back after Election Day, I was so, so happy and thankful. It really breaks things down where business and poltics intersect in a way that I can be actionable in life and my company. Also its calming. Kai Ryssdal's voice has that impact.

A refreshing and pragmatic perspective on our nations politics that includes some historical perspective. I always look forward to that time of day when doing dishes just isn't enough. Time when I can gain insightfull perspective on the unique time we live in. Thanks!

I am an avid Marketplace fan and to have more of Kai and Andrea focusing on the economics and politics of the current "chaos" is wonderful. It is not too long, and I would love for it to be daily but am happy to get what they provide. Thanks to the APM team for another great podcast.

All I want is to hear something smart that helps me understand what the hell is happening. This is it. Kai and Andrea get me there. Smart, funny, interesting, and I feel like I can actually understand what's happening right now. This is my new favorite podcast.

I haven’t been able to find any other source to understand what trump’s spending policies (or lack thereof) might look like on the ground, and in the legislative halls of DC. I love that Kai has joined Andrea this time. I loved the earlier podcasts from the convention as well. Very smart and important reporting here...

Great to take a break from cable news coverage of convention VIPs and delegates to hear people on the street give their take. After all, their votes will matter most.

I've loved listening to Andrea Seabrook and her coverage of Washington for many years. She gives new insights and information that is unlike anywhere else. I learned so much every time I listened to her on Decode DC, or on NPR & I she always made it fun to pay attention. Politics Inside Out from Marketplace is off to a great start & I can't wait to hear more.
