Rusanova123ExcellentThis is an amazing and excellent podcast, with beautiful sayings from orthodox fathers and commentary by a very learned Christian.

Joel8877Great intro for non-OrthodoxI was not raised Orthodox but have been turning to early church writings more and more for insight. These lessons not only familiarize me with the church fathers, but challenge my spirit.

KatytoadThought provoking lessonsI love these podcasts, they are portable thinking opportunities.

AnyaofEmmaFood for my soulI have been listening to these podcasts daily and am amazed and blessed by them. First because of the depth and breadth of Fr Matthew's knowledge of the holy fathers. But also for the way each day seems to hold a special lesson for me pertaining to that very day. These podcasts must have been made with much prayer.

Santafe to NyCompact, scholarly and inspiredIt takes an impressively thorough knowledge of any subject to be able to be both so informative and engaging. I am deeply grateful that at least our Orthodox siblings are not only remembering the desert fathers and (not quite enough) mothers but making them part of their living practice. Excellent podcast. It's really too bad that new podcasts are becoming very infrequent. I hope Prof S will start doing more of them or anything else he'd care to teach. He's got at least one dedicated student!

AdinSFWrong categoryThe category designation is incorrect. It should be Christianity not Buddhism.

maxconfessor09Simply Awesome!!This podcast is simply awesome. As a orthodox catechumen, the podcasts from Ancient Faith are instrumental and this one in particular is very informative. Knowledge of the Fathers is key. Thank you brother Greenberg. A small error has been made, however, because this podcast is categorized under buddhism.
