Listened to the episode on Pork Chop Hill, the lack of knowledge regarding the history, the guns, and even films in general was painful. Amazing these guys do a gun podcast with so little knowledge on firearms.

To be honest I wanted to like this podcast thought it could be fun. Listened to the John wick episode the hosts seemed very disinterested, gave u a blank name on a gun little description and lots of dead air like they couldn’t wait for it to be over. I think the sound quality was the least of its issues.

Why are you having liberals from Jersey do a gun podcast?

Audio quality is horrible. One guy is to loud and the other one you can’t even hear.

Good show and the hosts do a fine job. I’d rate it high if it were not for the uneven sound quality.

This is another great Firearms network podcast that is impossible to listen to. The volume difference between the two hosts is beyond painful. You strain your hearing on one and cringe from the screaming of the other. Count me out till they fix it. Sadly it’s a simple fix. They just don’t care enough to fix it

For the love of gawd, please make this podcast enjoyable again. I struggle to listen to the podcast I have been a fan of from the start. Love you guys and your work, but the audio is painful. Allie’s voice is cranked up to 11 and I can barely hear Sam. It needs leveled out so bad. Also, some episodes have been edited so that its skipping. I don’t know if you tried to eliminate pauses or something but it was really annoying. So keep up the good work but please fix the audio. Thanks. PS I don’t think you have covered the Maze Runner trilogy. They are kind of fun and the most recent thing I watched so give them a go.

Though there is some interesting content, the lack of knowledge on a lot of subjects that these guys talk about is slightly mind numbing. This isn’t my go to podcast for quality information. Then again... it’s based around Hollyweird.

Yea, the hundreds of millions of lives that would be impacted would be the ones that are legally murdered every year! NJ is the right state for you, don’t ever move. I disagree with most of their views on the movies reviewed, but letting the politics peak out set me off. He doesn’t deserve to even own a gun.

I enjoy the content of the show. However the edits (I think are garbage) and just cut randomly or maybe its an audio compression thing... Also Sam needs to stay freaking still when speaking I can hear him move closer and farther away from the mic. Also, quit using the stupid jersey ganster lingo when reffering to certain firearms. Calling a firearm "dirty" makes you sound like an uneducated street thug. Allie is fine but being that he is older than Sam it makes the rapport between the two hosts awkward. Also, neither of the hosts are very energetic, it makes for a dull and tough to listen to show. Frankly Shawn really should consider replacing Sam at least if not both of the hosts.

Around 75% your opinion on the movie, and maybe, if we are lucky 25% on the guns. Would love to hear more about the type of guns, gun mistakes, and guns we loved to see in the movie.

An interesting mix of guns and movies. The host have good opinions without taking themselves too seriously.

I had the idea of doing a movie podcast about guns a long time ago but never went ahead with it because of a combination of laziness and lack of technical ability. I'm glad someone else went ahead with it. It's not perfect, some episodes have some audio issues that I have helped them out with but it's a show I'm glad to listen to week after week. :)

One of my favorite podcasts. I enjoy the knowledge of the movies and firearms in combination. Honestly it is more entertaining when they review bad movies. It can be pretty dry though. The addition of your guest during the "Shooter" episode was a great improvement. Brought the energy up in the episode. Overall a great show for movie lovers and firearms enthusiasts.

I love these guys, they have great converstations about movies, weapon, and the tactics and weapons used in Hollywood films. I got hooked back around last thanksgiving and have been listening ever since. so if you like both guns and movies, this is most likely the podcast for you.

Thanks for the great podcast. This is the first FRN show I listen to. However, I unsubscribed for the episode staring Liam. I stopped supporting him and now have resubscribed to GofH! Don't make me do that again. I like the progress the show has made, namly what would you choose to carry in the characters place. Now that Sam isn't allowed to duel-weild G18s everytime, its more interesting. Thank you both for your dedication to bring this podcast to us each week. Nate R from Utah at UVU.

I had no idea that H. Jon Benjamin and Jim Cummings were pro-gun guys, let alone that they podcasts about guns used in films. Excellent job guys, look forward to many more.

If these guys stuck to discussing the guns, the podcast might be adequate, but they spend a lot of time trying to be movie critics, a job for which they are unequipped in the brain-cell department. Their observations are shallow, obvious and only semi-articulate: "Yeah, that's a great movie, man." "Yeah, it's great." "I mean, I really liked it, know what I mean?" "Yeah." Sadly, this is the low level of most of the podcasts on FRN, with the exception of "Handgun Radio" with Ryan Michad. That one is thoughtful, articulate and interesting.

Love the facts and trivia that you dig up about the films! Keep up the good work!

I started listening to the Guns of Hollywood Podcast a couple of weeks ago and have personally enjoyed the Saving Private Ryan, White Housedown/Olympus Has Fallen and RED episodes! I found the little bits of movie trivia sprinkled in with the excellent coverage of the guns from the movie to be entertaining. I look forward to additional future episodes.

I’ve only been able to listen to the pilot episode of this budding series so far, but these guys have already been able to catch my attention with not only specific details about the firearms in discussion but also their overall enthusiasm for guns and the Hollywood classics they’re featured in. We’ve all had conversations like this before which is why the entertainment value here is so high. Take some time and get in on the action.
