The show is unusual because it is an informed opinion show. Paul, the sage expert, interacts with Andrew, who often plays interviewer. Andrew is not a random interviewer: he's obviously a very intelligent tech enthusiast who has some tech background but does not pretend to be an electrical engineer. The heart of the show: Andrew Z. acts as a stand in for the intelligent informed user of technology who wants to learn more. Paul answers Andrew's questions and, in the process, he answers many of ours. I recommend it especially because it gives a feel for how things (devices, web services, resident software) actually work. While Paul is Windows focused, they cover many of the important matters in the Google and Apple Worlds. Important: *neither* is a fanboi for any of the big tech companies—an important distinguishing feature among tech podcasts.

Simple quality control failure by putting out episode 444 with no audio. It is something that should NEVER happen! Wasting our bits just begged us to hit the unsubscribe button!!!

Good production quality with a lot of banter results in little relevant content. Could be half as long and provide the same amount of value.

This is a great podcast about tech. It's primarily Windows focused because that's Paul Thurrott's area of expertise, but it goes into other areas of tech as well. I enjoy the conversations they have and look forward to this show every week.
