When two years ago I began writing my thesis on climate change and spirituality, my advisors thought I was crazy and wanted me to tie it to something more concrete. This season comes at a time when I'm finishing said thesis, and it inspires me so much to write during the COVID19 panic! Thank you so much for this. Favorite podcast for sure!:)

Anna Jane and Mary Anne bring humanity and emotion back to climate activism. Their conversations are emotionally nuanced and balance between hope and action but never despair. They are very candid about their own struggles with their work in a refreshing way. The interviews have also introduced me to so many more people in this fight and give unique and fresh perspectives on how to help and cope. This has helped me find a climate community, even virtually, but that’s so necessary.

The climate emergency invoked many feelings these days, so understanding that we’re not the only ones concerned can keep the climate blues away. In a hugely helpful series of podcasts, the No Place Like Home hosts combine great guests with facts and advice that can really help advocates and non-advocates of the environment cope better. Also helps with the needed conversations around climate with friends, and your children. Recommended.

As a scientist, I’m trained to observe and document. As a science-policy intermediary, I work to connect knowledge with action. But climate change isn’t just challenging out understanding of the world, it’s challenging our hearts. This podcast allows this much needed conversation with ourselves and each other to occur.

Love this as it addresses the reality of all this climate stuff and that it comes down to us humans and psychology to do anything about it. Conversational with some interviews thrown in too.

There are a few of us out here who DO believe: Climate Change is happening and will get much worse. Are the Camp Fire, how could you not? What we are facing OS unimaginable. Thank you for giving us straight talk and expert help with navigating the incredible journey of grief from denial and depression, to bargaining and acceptance. Thank you for living honestly by example and sharing your thoughts, feelings and experiences along the way. We are not alone!

These ladies approach the horror of climate change with humanity, humor, and honesty. They don’t sugarcoat it, but they don’t bum you out either. They believe in answers, but don’t pretend to have all of them. If you’re new to processing climate change or have grappled with it forever, I highly, highly recommend.

With warmth and humor, these two use the long tradition of Southern story telling to tell the modern stories that need to be told about our lives in the face of a changing climate. Its like being invited to tea and having your mind opened and stretched!

This podcast is one of my favs! The ideas and conversations are as though you are listening to your friends talk, down to earth and compassionate. They talk about complex topics that for the general public can be a lot of information to digest BUT they do such a fantastic job of breaking down facts and getting to the heart of the topics. I have become more inspired to be conscious of my carbon footprint, and I am even able to relay the information to others. Love this, and everyone should listen to this!

Show features 2 female hosts & often female guests as they seek to fulfill America’s climate change goals despite the current administration. I don’t think they ever say trump & president together in the same sentence either! (Another plus!)

I absollutely love this podcast! Anna Jane Joyner & Mary Anne Hitt do such a great job of talking about climate change on a fun and engaging level. Yes, Grist.org recently described it as 'Car Talk for climate change.' However, I like to think of it as two close friends in a coffee shop having a great conversation where they let you pull up a chair and listen in. Great podcast. I really enjoyed the two host model on this. They are getting some really interesting guest. It's nice to see that climate change is really expanding its reach and how we talk about it within pop culture and science in the wider society.

The honesty in this podcast is awesome. Makes me think of Pod Save America but about climate change. I think by adding more guests, co-hosts and a few more episodes, it will really help cement this show as an awesome driver of how to deal with the problem of climate change.
