If you love and appreciate golf history, this podcast will become an instant favorite. Truly incredible storytelling with in-depth research and knowledge by both Connor T Lewis and his expert guests. Their love for the game and it’s rich history will bleed into your soul. A remarkable gift to the world of golf.

For any history buff, these are awesome. For golf history buffs, these are even more compelling. It is great to listen to these, and then look at the company’s product across my office (staring at an old Hogan iron at this moment). Keep up the great work on all of the podcasts.

But as with most podcasts the hosts talk for too much, stack multiple questions, interrupt, use over the top hyperbole. They need to ask questions and then shut up! They are the interviewers not the interviewees.

Absolutely love each episode - can honestly say there’s not one I don’t enjoy. I really liked the Golf Historian’s Guide to St Andrews (I’m heading to Scotland for 14 days in October and will be hitting each of the mentioned locations in this episode!). I also really enjoyed The Champion Who Lost His Mind - what a heartbreaking story. Heck, even the very first episode with Rod is great! As you inch closer to 100 episodes, I personally hope you continue on for another 100 episodes!

As an avid golfer for over 60 years, I am intrigued by the history, especially the equipment side. John Barba is an excellent historian. Might I suggest an episode regarding PowerBilt? They were big in the 40’s and 50’s that tried to mount a comeback in the 2000’s. I think this would be an excellent add to your history series. Thanks again.

Always a great listen. So many great rare facts and stories that could easily be lost without this show. Also, such a cool way to keep it alive by bringing into podcast form. Love it!

Connor Lewis brings interesting stories and people to the podcast, revealing so much more than the standard fare found in traditional golf magazines. Each podcast is well researched and well done!

I love this show. I would be perfect but for the SJW nonsense the show sometimes feels compelled to include. I have to turn it off when that happens. Case in point the rise and fall of golf in America podcast. You know what I’m saying.

I’m a history major and have always loved history and at the age of 44 played golf for the first time and got hooked. I love this podcast and as soon as an episode appears I listen. My number 1 podcast.

I listen to a lot of golf podcasts, but I always look for Connor’s first! Excellent content that holds my interest every time.

Every sport has a background, but golfs historical roots are spectacular because it is one of class, respect, and honesty. The game as a whole is perfectly imperfect, and Conor does an amazing job of bringing the history to life. It honestly makes my day when I see a new episode is released
