The content of this podcast is decent and I learn things that I don’t hear elsewhere but the cringe fest that is Toby’s pronunciation is hard to take. Neil please tell him that Warner Bros is Warner Brothers not Warner bros (he says it like it rhymes with crows) 🙄 I wish he would read his script to himself before broadcasting.

Love this show!! The newsletter is a big part of my morning schedule. One note on audio quality… speakers sound far away and the mix is very harsh.

The content is great, but the misspoken words, filler words and overall poor cadence of speaking make it seem as though you’re reading off a page you’ve never seen before and it’s your first time giving a podcast. Beggginggg you guys to clean this up. Disagree with other reviews, think you do a great job of being neutral! Do wish you posted earlier in AM though.

Like many of the other comments, I feel the need to point out that your show has become un-listenable as it has just become another left wing mainstream media source. People liked this show because it was neutral and reported on business news. Your takes on many things should stay NEUTRAL. If you’re going to hate on Trump and Elon without stating anything factual, go work for CNN. Have now unsubscribed to the podcast and unfollowed the Instagram account where those girls do the same biased things in their videos.

It was business now it’s a political bias show. Unwatchable and not worth listening to anymore. Extremely disappointed as they were a nice escape from the political theater. However that’s where they have now gone. 1/5 stars.

I listen to the show all the time but today’s show was too tough to listen to. The British co-hosts voice just is very harsh to listen to and agitating. I typically like accents but this one drove me to take the day off from listening to you guys…..

Love this show! I love that I can get the latest news without biased opinion … great hosts they really do a good job but I think it’s important to let the people who fill in know that the audience don’t appreciate personal opinions or beliefs. I think Ann needs a better understanding of this especially when it comes to politics. I’ve gotten offended or taken back a few times listening to her.

I’ve been a subscriber for a while now bc of the neutral fact based info but today they dropped some debunked lies that are abridge too far … sorry to leave but there’s plenty of outlets playing the bias card and I def don’t need another one

Still a decent morning show, I appreciate their positivity. Seems like it’s becoming more and more of a Trojan horse for a bunch of ads though.

I’ve enjoyed catching up on the latest news with MBD for the better part of a year but the political bias is becoming a bit too much and there are more than enough other outlets to consume that type of media.

Read the newsletter for years, switched to the podcast in the last couple. I thought you strived to be unbiased and gave you a pass on a lot of things over the years but it seems that since the election you no longer strive for an unbiased approach of the political landscape. You recently gave more time to both sides of healthy soda battle than you do to anything related to the political landscape. Did you once report how DOGE is actually a repurposed Obama era committee, you always report on the law suits against the government but rarely on the fact that many have no legal standing or that they were dismissed. Just today you sing the main stream media song of an unelected official having access to Treasury and another legal challenge yet not one mention of other administration’s efforts to do this or how many other “unelected” people have had access to all of our data. Read the room - we are listening to you because we don’t watch or listen to mainstream media and can form our own opinions if given at least a hint of both sides of the story. I am not the only one that has noticed the bias shift - it is a topic often discussed at work lunch. You are losing your audience for becoming too much like the news outlets that we left when we found you. Prioritized reading The Flipside over Morning Brew now which has not been the case for years. At least they present many sides of the story and not always the main stream rhetoric which is heard more often now on this podcast

I used to enjoy this show for the humor, clear and objective business news. Recently, the hosts' biased political opinions made this morning listen unbearable. It is so disappointing because they marketed themself as neutral and unbiased, but constantly inserting their left-leaning viewpoint into the podcast. Some mornings I felt like I was listening to Neal and Toby's personal rants for half an hour straight. And the quest to find another source of news begins...

I have appreciated MBD as a fairly neutral business news source over the years, but as Musk has become harder to ignore and more active in politics, it has become cringe-inducing to hear the guys talk about his companies and DOGE. I have a hard time understanding why they are clutching their pearls over a search for fraud in CMS?? You don’t have to love Trump to root for these efforts to be successful. Please take a breath and remember that these are good things even if it’s not who you voted for. I want to keep listening as this podcast has become a great part of my daily routine but please try to be less cynical about objectively positive things.

This used to be my favorite news podcast, been following the morning brew daily newsletter since 2019, but they are slowly showing their political preferences and the ‘news’ is now mixed with their opinion. I’m an independent and today will probably be the last time I tune in. It’s been a fun ride, love the humor, but it’s no longer a neutral news source. Best of luck!

My husband introduced me to this and while I try to avoid most news, this feels like the right daily dose of business news with some unbiased politics peppered in. Great job and thank you!

Started by reading the newsletter and now listen to pod on my commute. Overall it’s a great product. No offense to Toby but when Kyle subs in I like the show much better.

Really enjoy this show. Very informative, fun listening. It’s also the only podcast that I fully pay attention to the credits to hear the witty comments about “hair and makeup” along with the people involved. Well done, guys!

I really enjoy this podcast. The only con is all the talk about “ai “ I really can care less about all the ai talk.

I listen to this with my dad every time he takes me to school and we both love it. They explain everything so amazingly and I look forward to it every day.

I follow and listen everyday. Lately I’ve gotten to work and still no downloads. If it’s not going to be up by 6:00 am change the name. Morning brew is for early mornings.. not morning or late in the day. Fire your technology department if they can’t do their job. I’m forced to listen to somebody else.

It’s hard to find a podcast host these days that is knowledgeable and back up statements with facts. Listening to this podcast every morning makes me feel informed, smart and maybe even hoping the wittyness rubs off on me! Love the different games, seems like a great group of people to work with

Put aside the fact Kevin is an awful person, his take on Elon Musk is even worse. I couldn’t stomach listening another second to an individual who would sellout his country for $1.

I liked this show, though I really don’t know why they feel the need to release shows that aren’t news related on days they take off. It’s okay to just not anything in your feed on a holiday. I actually think the show is a worth four stars, but I have to let them know somehow that they should never have Kevin O’Leary on their show again. That jerk has too much of a platform already. A quality thoughtful show like this doesn’t need to give him more.

Best podcast available! I follow this podcast like it is my favorite TV series. If I miss a show or two I binge listen until I’m caught up. Wishing this podcast continued success.

This is a good quality show, they are likable guys and I appreciate their effort but their political opinion is clear and they try too hard to back it up with facts. I am looking for news, not opinions but this is their show and they can do whatever they want with it. This would be 5 stars if they could make it unbiased.

The Morning Brew Daily is hands-down the best daily news podcast. The breadth of coverage over many topics across politics business science, and sometimes even cheeky references to pop culture is unrivaled. I love the positivity when too many other podcasts are serious and depressing. The length is just perfect before you begin your workday. Great hosts!

This is by far my favorite show. It gives me a quick glimpse into the news with some details. I cannot wait to listen to it every morning. I wish it was longer!

Might as well endorse Harris instead of trying to report objective news. If you’re going to report politics, report both sides of the argument.

not recommening to anyone

I was looking for a podcast that would give me a daily update on top news. I found Morning Brew Daily. This podcast focuses more on business & the economy than general news, but it’s part of my morning EVERYDAY! I love Neal & Toby’s personality’s. They breakdown what’s going, why it’s happening & how it may be affecting me. It’s like waking up & talking with your friends. I highly recommend it.

50% news, 50% Gen Z liberal drivel

I look forward to not only the information but the humor that they bring to the content!

This is my daily morning podcast that gives me the news I will need to be in the know for the day. Toby and Neil are great! Some people don’t love their causal broadcasting style but I love how it doesn’t sound as scripted and robotic as most news podcasts. This is the most politically central leaning podcast I have listened to! Only slight left leanings but don’t let that deter you, they seem to try to keep neutral.

I first started listening to this podcast because I perceived their reporting to be able to present both sides of news when it came to business topics. Unfortunately, they have recently started covering politics and have been providing a very left leaning view that does not consider both sides. For example, suggesting that Elon Musk’s interview of Trump was a failure. When in reality, he generated a consistent viewership of 1.3 million people in the live stream (100M+ viewers in less than 24hrs), which is probably more than this podcast has generated in the entirety of its lifespan. I am open to returning to this podcast if they can commit to sharing both sides of ALL topics going forward because I like the hosts.

The episodes have a good array of content, if you can stand some bias. I can tell Neal and Toby try not to present it that way, which is worse.

I traditionally never kept up with business news because the hosts are usually dry and it's boring. These guys make it fun, make me laugh, and I look forward to hearing their podcast.
