I've been listening to Roifield & Lucy for a while now as I'm an avid fan of The Archers and Dumteedum. But his taste in music?!! I just never knew! Love your interviews and really love your jam, Roifield.

    Very interesting.
I listened to the episode with the Global Aid worker. I found the content fascinating, and the interview felt like a conversation. Will download more. Would prefer less music. Sampling a song is fun but I don't want to hear the whole thing. Focus on the topics, they are what's interesting.

    Overhearing conversations between friends
This podcast is perfect for my commute to work. Each episode is exactly 30 minutes in length and includes interesting and eclectic music put alongside an always interesting if not sometimes or almost random conversation. It's highly enjoyable, each week I don't know what Roifield will talk about next.

    A Solid 30 Minutes
This is a great podcast to listen to while on a drive or working out. It's got a good mix of interesting music and interviews from people from all walks of life. They're only 30 minutes - 15 minutes of music and 15 minutes of interview - so they don't allow for the interview to go terribly in depth. However, the host is adept at asking the interviewee questions that stray from the standard fare, which promotes good conversation between the two. The topics covered each interview are quite varied - from Planned Parenthood to Marvel Comic movies - which allows the subscriber to expand their horizons a bit. The music is hit or miss for me, which is why it gets a 4 instead of a 5. It's an ecclectic mix, though, and usually I dig at least 2 of the 5 that are selected for that week's episode. Quite a few artists/bands that I had never heard of have been featured, so, again, even with the music, you're exposed to something new. Their diverse personal and professional backgrounds of those being interviewed, coupled with the non-standard questions mentioned above lend for a interesting conversation as well. Give it a listen! PS: Gotta agree with the host - with the exception of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight series masterpiece, Marvel universe movies and characters are exponentially more interesting.

    Wonderfully simple
Music and a nice conversation. What more could one ask for on a Friday?

    30 interesting minutes
It's just too easy for people to approach music and conversation with a one-vision approach. I knew (from other podcasts) that Roifield's conversations would be well rounded and interesting, my fear was, that like most other podcasts /shows; the musical selections would be predictable. I was delighted to discover an interesting mix. The show is laid out very well. A bit of chat, a music choice by the guest, a bit more chat, and then more music. Clever! There isn't one point where you can say "I've had enough of, ...... so I'll forward on to ....." I've found , even in the one or two guests that I haven't warmed to, something of merit in each show. Worth listening to. Didn't take me long to get hooked.
