This podcast was for a road trip, I couldn’t stop listening when my trip was over. I had to continue and finish it right then. There was no waiting for me. Loved it!!! Great job!

The 10 episodes contain a plethora of US criminal history which is investigated by Cavanagh. This is a Spotify original production that covers the assassination of a Federal Judge in 1979 (all episodes are on Spotify). The hitman convicted of this murder is the father of a current famous Hollywood actor. It’s an ok podcast but it could have been a lot better. There was a lot of chances for the reporter to go more in depth and talk to more people and get into the proverbial weeds more. It felt like this was a part time effort for a podcast that could have been A+

Been waiting for more episodes to listen and keep checking back with nothing. You should let your listeners know if there’s a platform change.

Have a great show but got a case of “blue balls” started with some foreplay and now nothing. Why not have it be on Spotify as a whole then? Gotta pick one or the other

No more episode?

One episode here and then it becomes exclusive to Spotify? Shady-shady-shady... on principle alone I will not listen to this ‘over there’.. posting one episode here is a cheap ploy to pull us over to Spotify, and it just doesn’t work that way. Sad, I had subscribed.. now I’m someone that won’t listen, and certainly will not recommend this... I’m one of many- we’re not stupid..

First off, it’s a sad story, but this show drags out and “there’s no there, there”! Seriously, could’ve been done in 2 episodes, max. A lot of build up and hype, promises of new information, but there isn’t any. Spoiler - it’s unsolved, there’s a video but the police are secretive about details (and drag them out, much like this show), to the detriment of the case! This show needed a lot of editing, less melodrama, and could have been much shorter.

I listened to the first episode months ago and loved it! I was so excited for The second episode coming May 5 and now it’s almost September! What happened? I’m very disappointed!😕

Give a review when I can. ”Excuse me for liking the story” Jason Cavanaugh Well I didn’t get very much to go on with pilot episode + 5 minutes. Have no idea where it went with remainder of your investigation. I do know there is much to see. A great deal of information that exists is suppressed and remains classified. There are many more tangentially related threads that contain direct information that you are unlikely to find. The period (50 years) for full disclosure has come and gone for suppressed material from Kennedy assassination. Many of those threads lead directly to the same people implicated in assassination of Judge Woods in Bexar County. Some are still living individuals with much to lose who still are powerful. Henceforth,still no disclosure for the sake of posterity and Historical accuracy and truth. I have to say what I heard in the single podcast touched only upon the very shallow topmost layer that came in with rise of Jimmy Chagra. I am reluctant to say more about this murky and fraught period in relative history, because I don’t even have the other episodes in your podcast to see how far you may have gotten. I will say that a dominant core of actual historians who covered these doings and claim to have treated history meticulously and exhaustively in fact whitewashed truth in favor of the dominant narrative and left out much of the story which remains suppressed. I saw this podcast and immediately was curious. I cannot say I have a totally clear picture of all the dramatic and granular details about this disturbing bit of history, but there were more layers, groups of players and foci involved. I was a late witness to small portion of it. My dad died a few years ago at 93 years of age. Prior to his passing and at my Mother’s wake, he recounted to me the story of the time he met Charles Harrelson socially in the company of another of my more infamous relatives, and because he knew that I would like that. I often think of Woody Harrelson and know poquito about what his life must have been like under the circumstances. Was unaware of his brothers entirely. Always fancied what a colorful chat we may have enjoyed were that I ever did happen to meet him. I am midway between him and his father’s generation. “Excuse me for liking the story”

Was only sad that it was over! Audio was fine, I had no complaints there. Great storytelling and excellent job in piecing it all together. Great job Jason and crew.

Is this podcast still happening? Can we get an update? I understand if production is delayed due to COVID-19, but a short update saying so would be nice. Thanks!

Really an interesting podcast!

I looked forward to every episode!! I love Jason’s voice and the way the story is told. I only wish some of the recorded conversations were better quality, some were difficult to understand.

After all the work, travel and research you blew it with horrible audio. Why do podcasters always think recording an iPhone speaker is good enough for a phone interview?

Those of you who are saying there’s only ONE episode, if you listened carefully the narrator said the rest are “exclusively on Spotify”. I think he also said it’s produced by Spotify? This episode has piqued my interest.

I subscribed on recommendation by a friend. While the first episode has drawn me in, I see this was released in early May. Over a month later there is still just the one episode even though I’m seeing reviews on episode 5. What gives???

Seriously? This podcast was HEAVILY advertised on another I listened to for about the past month so silly me I figured it was available in its entirety ! But only one episode released at beginning of May which ended by saying new episodes would come out every Tuesday. We’re 6 weeks from that episode and nada. I only gave 2 stars because the ‘advertised’ content seemed interesting. Boo.

This is getting one star because there has only been one episode out since May. Really maddening that we are waiting for forever for new episodes since it’s a great story and great narration.

Why has only one episode been released?

A son of hitman has everything you want in any story to draw you in...has conspiracy theories...hollywood stars of yesteryear n present day...murder..loyalty..deceit...i dont want to give away any spoilers but have to reccomend give it a listen. My only issue may be small to some but ive been waiting for episode 6 since 5/26/20 when episode 5 was made available..i understand that no episode on memorial day weekend but its been over 17 days. If i would of known I would of waited til i could binge the entire season. Theres no info anywhere on when next episode will be available either. Communication is easier then eva n yet im at a loss what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

As the initial description of the podcast states-all episodes are on Spotify. This is a great podcast with a very interesting story. Thank you for telling it.

So if you’re going to do a podcast especially this type of topic, you may want to have the episodes done and ready to go instead of waiting a month for episode 2. I was excited about this but are you doing it or not?

Super interested in the topic, but the narration and construction is unfortunate. Lots of random interjections by the narrator during interviews and his speaking is very stilted and sounds like he’s just reading awkwardly off a paper. I have a Spotify subscription, but won’t be continuing to listen there. Also annoyed I don’t have the option of listening on the platform I prefer for podcasts.

Premiered 5/5/2020 It is 3 days from 1 full month after the premier and no episode 2. Deleting.
