    Love these guys
CC is just a blast to be around, I appreciate his honesty and that reminds me of Charles Barkley. But man Ryan is a true professional and guides these conversations like a maestro. It’s obvious that he truly loves sports. It’s great that these two aren’t hesitant to have opposing perspectives as well.

    Great podcast that transcends sports
Fun? Yes! Informative? Yes! From the heart? Absolutely! I just listened to the “ New Era” episode and wow! CC & Ryan are very honorable men. God bless you guys. PS: I’m a fan of the f bombs 😂

CC is pretty good Ryan is horrendous
RR is terrible. Straight cringe worthy. nothing is worse than listening to him try to compare being an announcer to being an athlete. warming up your voice is not the same as warming up before a ball game. Ryan, you are literally just talking. And stop trying to be one of the boys. You’re a nerd from Fishkill, New York. Just be yourself

White guy at a black BBQ
Ryan’s fake laugh when he’s trying to fit in with black people is the equivalent of getting your anal rectum probed by aliens. CC is fantastic and has a lot of great points and cool stories and I like the guests. But Ryan is awkward, annoying and if I could listen to a podcast with all of Ryan’s parts edited out and just CC talking to himself, I would. Anyways, 5 stars for CC.

    Best chemistry
Still my favorite podcast. The chemistry between Ryan and CC never fails to put a smile on my face.

    Good, but can improve
Thoroughly enjoy this podcast, but I find that it can improve in a few ways. Too frequently there is a one week lapse between episodes, listeners really look forward to new pods every single Thursday. Definitely times where it comes through that both Ryan and CC aren’t putting 100% into it.
  • Not Regular Guy
    Simply Uninteresting
As a Yankee fan, I like these guys, so I keep giving this pod a chance. But their conversations and interviews are simply not interesting. I’m done with it, and I have no idea how this pod gets so many five star ratings.
  • Old Greatness
    Yankees Biased Pod
I used to be a loyal listener to the pod, I subscribed when it was on The Player’s Tribune, Uninterrupted and The Ringer. However, I had to finally hit the unsubscribe button because it became apparent they only want to talk Yankees. Here’s an idea: since you’re the only Ringer podcast that focuses on baseball, maybe try acknowledging the other 29 MLB teams?

    Stop Ryan’s uninformed COVID takes
For someone who claims to be well informed about COVID, Ryan spouts dangerously incorrect information about the disease. It’s not becoming more mild, if you read anything about it. There is no such thing as immunity from infection; it’s very common to get it multiple times. And players should absolutely not be playing while infected, from both a public health perspective as well as a health one, since the risk of long COVID and heart issues are much greater if you push yourself too soon. I know this isn’t a Covid podcast, but that’s more reason for Ryan to stay in his lane and stop going off about topics he knows nothing about. CC is the only reason to listen to this podcast. Outside of the COVID stuff, Ryan remains a syncophant that’s embarrassing to listen to as he attempts to show the audience how good of friends he and CC are.

    Absolutely Love CC& Ryan
I cannot say enough good things about listening to CC& Ryan and their unique perspectives. I don’t mind the Star Wars talk even though I’m not a Star Wars fan. I especially LOVE the love & support Ryan gives to nurses/health care workers❤️ this podcast helps me forget about the typical day to day stuff we all go through and for like an hour or so twice a week I have some laughs. Amazing podcast. Also: I feel like Ryan and I are old friends. I’ll never forget when Ryan broke Jeter's retirement news on ESPN radio, I was a social worker at the time and started crying in my car because like Ryan, I felt like part of my childhood was over. I’ll never forget my client was like 8 or 9 not getting it. I’m also thankful that this podcast helped launch Cameron Maybin’s career with yes. Amazing podcast. I love it. Keep it up guys. I know CC is extremely busy nowadays. Also: all those saying that CC curses too much, who cares? Don’t listen. I love how raw CC is and the other athletes/guests. The negative reviews are straight haters.

CC realizes how important he is to our game!
I’ve loved how CC has grown accustomed to becoming a baseball FAN in his retired life! Feel like it took a bit for him to adjust and understandably so. You can tell the players still respect him like he’s in the clubhouse. SIDE NOTE: So glad he’s working for MLB now. The game needs his passion.
  • Lani Meilani
Great pod (except the COVID talk)
Love this pod, but I wish Ryan would more clearly separate his opinions on COVID from the facts. He says things like “I am not an expert...” and then presents his thoughts as solid science-based information. If he wants to give his opinion that’s fine, but if he wants to share info about the virus then get an expert.

    Good....if
It's good. Wish they wouldn't cuss so much but then again, people always cuss now but still that's no excuse.

    Hands Down Must Listen
This show gives such a behind the scenes life of athletes of all backgrounds and paths to get to where they are at now. CC is brutally honest and doesn’t hold back on his thoughts which makes you respect him even more. Ryan has got to one of the most underrated and under appreciated people in sports media. Please keep the amazing pods coming.

Waino was amazing! Keep up the great work, love this pod

    Stay in your lane
This podcast is good - but it could be great if it got rid of Ryan and just let CC interview present and former baseball players. Recent episodes with Sonny Gray and Jon Lester were phenomenal. Their behind-the-scenes stories are a joy to listen to, and their inside baseball knowledge is engaging and informative. Ryan’s NY-centric homerism is hard to take - Kyrie is the perfect basketball player? Please. Giannis will never win a championship in milwaukee? Ha. Give CC the reins, stick to what he knows, and I’ll be a listener forever.
  • JoeW6192
    Ryan
Would be a 5 star if not for Ryan! How many times is he going to mention he’s in a group chat with CC?! Ryan, stop trying to relate to every story! Swanson tells a story about being passed up by a school then winning the World Series, and you try and relate to it? Stop stop stop!

    Best Sports podcast.
One of the best sports podcasts out there!

    Not a fan of Ruocco
That fake laugh he does is worse than nails on a chalkboard, I can’t handle it. He loves talking women’s sports as if anyone cares (if people did care, the female athletes wouldn’t be complaining about “equal pay”). And just about every episode he brings up the pandemic and how the times have changed (we get it).
  • Timmyballgame23
One of my favorites … and I’m a Red Sox fan
Yeah, during the baseball season the guys are very Yankee-centric, but, even though I’m a Sawx fan, they are must-listen. Ryan is pretty levelheaded and CC, man, the guy is so candid. I’m not a big basketball fan, so sometimes I’ll skim over that, but, even then, they offer some perspective.

Awful take this week by CC
I’m a regular listener but CC really turned me off this week when he referred to Alex Cora, Alex Rodriguez, and Carlos Beltran as three of the smartest baseball people he knows. Basically listed three confirmed cheaters and referred to them as “smart”. Such a tone deaf take. You can’t tell me three guys who have been caught and penalized for cheating are some of the smartest people you know. Cheating the game doesn’t make you smart. This is usually a good show but that statement made me turn this last episode off. Time to just get some more guests in here and have some interview based episodes.

Can we get Baéz on please?!?
First off this is one of my favorite podcasts out there and I listen to a lot, Ryan and CC provide genuine content every week sometimes twice with some of the biggest and brightest stars in Baseball and Basketball , etc. Can we please get an interview with Lindor and Javy together would break the charts. Ya Know What I’m Saying?
I am huge fan of The Ringer podcasts. I listen to dozens of them, including R2C2. I love the show. You guys have great chemistry, give awesome insights, and have terrific guests. But CC’s use of “ya know what I’m saying” is becoming too much to bear. On my runs I try to count them. Suffice it to say, it’s impossible. There are just too many. I understand it’s just a tic, and doesn’t mean anything. But if David Shoemaker could chill out on “I think that’s right” on The Press Box, CC can chill out on this. I don’t mean to be rude. I want the show to be great. I want CC to have a long career as a broadcaster if that is what he wants. But I cannot be the only person who hears this - and cannot not hear this - on every show. I’ll keep listening and hope to hear “ya know what I’m saying” less and less. Thanks.

    Best sports podcast out
Best sports podcast out with CC always keeping it real and Ryan always being professional. Please get Prince Fielder, Ryan Braun, Rickie Weeks, and Bill Hall on the show to discuss the Brewers 2008 season and the chemistry with having one of the blackest locker rooms in the league.

  • The Crafty Lefty
Used to be the best, now just decent
It started out as a podcast with tons of baseball players, now it’s basically a WNBA podcast with other athletes occasionally sprinkled in.
  • LDYanks85
We Get it Ryan, You’re Thrilled to be Here
Drink every time Ryan mentions that he’s on a group text with CC and others, or any other time he goes out of his way to tell us he got to hang out with someone famous via CC. As a lifelong NYY fan of similar age, I could easily be acting the same way if I were in his shoes, but it gets tiring. CC’s unfiltered style allows athletes (especially baseball players) to show their true selves in ways you don’t often see or hear, which sets this podcast apart. Stay for that, and fast forward through Ryan’s jock sniffing and cringy drops of phrases like “dap up.”

    The BEST
I love this podcast...it always makes me smile😊 you and CC make a great pair and your shows are entertaining and informative. ...Except for one thing I have to say here, bc I don’t use Twitter or Instagram. Ryan...you graduated with honors and a BA in Communications. PLEASE stop saying “me and_____”. It makes me cringe when I hear it. Good English grammar is still important and you have the perfect platform in which to model it.

The best sports podcast out there
My favorite sports podcast by far. CC and Ryan are awesome hosts and their conversations make you feel like you’re hanging in the room with them. They get the best guests too.

Always a must listen every Thursday
Ryan and CC do an amazing job of bringing players to life and making people love them even more even off the field. I love how the show talks about players interest in and off the field and lets you get to know them as they true it are as people. Also gotta love the appreciation of Starwars from both CC and Ryan. Every sports fan has got to give this show a listen!

    Inspiring
Just finished listening to your episode about the 100th anniversary of the Negro League. Not only way this episode interesting from a sports standpoint, it also filled me with hope and positivity. At a time when we need some great success stories this episode delivered. Keep up the great work guys!

One of, if not THEE best real baseball podcast on the market. CC and RR keep it fresh, fun, informative and with an inside look behind the scenes of what it’s like to be a player and an insider. Personalities mesh well and they’re a great interview pair too.
  • John Thomas 2020
    Great new podcast
CC and Ryan give a fresh perspective on sports while keeping it entertaining. Knowledgeable and funny. CC does a great job as an ex player giving insight into MLB, but he did a good job interviewing Kemba Walker from NBA as well, so it seems to extend past MLB. Ryan is a good host - knows what to say and how to transition, but isn’t boring like other hosts.

    Great pod but...
The guests on the pod don’t all record at a high level. Kemba Walker’s phone going off every minute was sooooo off-putting. Please just remind them in the future. Everything else is A+
