Initial I started listening to the podcast bc of course it’s TAMAR!! However, it’s the blessing I didn’t know I needed growing up as a PK in the south and struggling with my desire for SPIRITUALITY over Religion. Craving that love and understanding that no one else seemed to understand how I could love God but accept and explore everything else. To the point that if causes you to question yourself daily. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your transparency and healing and being Unapologetic about it. I love everything about you and your journey! Continue to be great!

I have listened to a handful of episodes so far. I have always loved Tamar's personality & her authenticity. She Isn't afraid to be herself. I am very proud of the progress she has made so far. I love that she sticks to the theme of this podcast, which is to uplift while we are working towards becoming a better version of ourselves. The only con I give it is that sometimes I wish she would be a little less exaggerated during her affirmation segment. I can hardly understand what the affirmation is supposed to be because of all the lip popping theatrics. Now I know this is classic Tamar, but just for that segment, please get the affirmation out and then express your thoughts on it.

Seriously, I have always always felt so connected to Tamar. I always felt she was misunderstood, but her HEART has always been pure and shined through. I’m so happy for you Tamar! Loved the episode and Bevs realness

A friend of mine sent me the episode with Taraji because I had been struggling with my mental health. I had no idea the episode would cover breakups/relationships, but I needed it. When I say the episode spoke to me, it SPOKE. I’m only 23 but I felt so seen listening to this. I’m a fan now, I’ve started over from episode 1 and I can’t wait for more. Thanks Tamar 🖤

Under construction is a lifestyle. We should always be under construction. We should always work on ourselves by letting God show us ourselves. I put off my own healing & I allowed my voice to be silenced. I had to decide “there can be no healing, until, I face the pain” So my multiple molestations, Rape & Attempted Rape by my father when I was of age, had me bound because my voice was silenced & when I did speak up, I was put out of my father’s home. So, I wrote all of that to say, I can relate. I’m a mom, I’m a wife of 23 1/2 yrs & I’m a survivor!! I’m looking forward to tomorrow Lord’s will. This Podcast is Tamar’s Truth but truthfully it’s all of us & we should ask God to help us face the pain, become humble & be patient as he makes us completely whole. I love me some Tamar. Today’s episode about finances was PURE GOLD! And the episode with Nene was comedic perfection. I love this show! My one critique: please have Tamar read the questions herself like Amanda Seales does on Small Doses. It’s obvious and apparent that the same producer is reading the questions and it’s annoying at this point. Either use real audience voice notes or read them yourself, Tamar. Please 🙏🏽

Since being introduced to Tamar on BFV I’ve always felt a connection to her that my friends and family will never understand but truly respect. I’ve been seeing her podcast on IG but never listened because I had so much other noise going on in my life. Now that I’m taking the necessary pauses, I’ve started the podcast and Tamar never lets me down. So relatable, open, honest and vulnerable.
