This revamp will be the envy of all truck stops as far as shopping wise. Who would buy any groceries from the regular truck stop. I recommend you stop at a kwik trip or kwik star that’s set up for trucks then get back to me

I’m a local driver in Florida of 25 plus years. Every Monday I look forward to listening to the new episode of Talk CDL. It’s a sort of silver lining at the start of a work week. (“Ugh Monday but at least it’s time for a new episode!”) Anyway I love the info, the news, your informed opinions on up to date topics and the fun banter between you two. You are real genuine nice folks that I feel like I would befriend if we were in the same circles, feel like I know you both! Keep up the great work!

Normally I enjoy listening to your antics. Sometimes your voices are the only contact I have driving this truck. But your March 29 episode crossed a line. How will you feel after your friends or family contract Covid 19 and possibly die from it, knowing just a week or two before, you were laughing. At this very moment over 1200 people have died in New York ALONE! If nothing else I expect an apology, otherwise I will drop your podcast.

Troy and Ruthann make me laugh, think and me glad to be a truckers daughter. I love the way they bring a show together effortlessly. Wish more podcasts were like this. They are unlike any other.

I really enjoyed listening. The show has answered some questions I’ve had for awhile and cleared up some unanswered questions as well!

I listened loyally for 2 years. It’s just gotten old. Troy still interrupts Ruth Ann and all they do is bicker back and forth with occasionally talking about trucking. They have good advice for new drivers but the good content ends there. They say all the time if you want to be interviewed just message us. I messaged them multiple times and they never followed through on a interview. I’ll check back in after awhile and see if they have anything new/good added in.

They are the smoothest running podcast in trucking, love the show

This podcasts is mostly about a posts on Facebook. The podcast is pretty ridiculous, at one point they talked about using a self made flame thrower to defend yourself. Gear down there Mr. Trucker.

This pod makes a great drinking game. Every time the host interrupts his wife, or Johnny Acid, you take a shot. Guaranteed to be messed up in 30 minutes or less.

Topics discussed are sometimes not needed for veteran drivers, but it’s nice to know that you’re doing it right. Entertainment value is pretty good too, not drop dead funny but funny. Very good show.

There is almost always a gut laugh or two in every episode. Whether host Troy is talking to his partner in crime Johnny Acid or his partner in life (wife) Ruth Ann, there is always insightful, interesting and humorous conversation to be had. I do often find myself wishing the podcast were longer so they could go into more depth on each topic, but perhaps that’s just my critical ear as a fellow trucking podcaster (Trucker Dump). Overall though, this is a great show that shouldn’t miss.

Never got anything out of it. It wasn't entertaining. I tried to like it, but it was a struggle. Episode on driver expenses was the last attempt. The younger co-host is an idiot with baseless opinions. No real trucking experience or knowledge, and it was painfully evident in this episode. Every time I select an episode title that sounds interesting, I was disappointed. I'm over it.

I love the show. I'm not a trucker but I'm seriously looking into to it. Listing to this show has answered some questions and actually has created more questions more me, plus very entertaining:)(: keep up the awesome work

Like the podcast but major audio issues. Goes from a whisper to blowing your speakers out. Fix it!!

Love the podcast. Gives a lot of insight to the job from someone else's perspective. Just wish that the hosts would do something with the volume on their mics. Have to have radio all the way up just to hear them compared to volume of guests.

I found this podcast from FB, you have a great page. But the podcast is terrible I listened to 5 minutes of the German driver interview. Worst then nails on a chalk board..

This is good listening for anyone that drives for a living, or for that matter anyone who spends a lot of time on the road in any type of vehicle - knowing what's going on with these giant trucks is good knowledge for all drivers. I'd like to see the show cast a slightly wider net though, as far as discussing situations involving large vehicles. School Buses, for example- many truckers take retirement jobs as school bus drivers, and they will tell you that most drivers don't treat school buses with any more respect than they treat big rigs... and the cargo on a school bus is infinitely more precious than anything hauled by a big rig. Maybe it's just me, but I think a school bus episode would be very interesting and enlightening to many.

I listen to podcasts all day long and have just recently found this one. I am not a truck driver but am interested in that lifestyle. Lots of good information for truckers and 4 wheelers alike.

Love the show, miss hearing new episodes. Awesome new audio quality!

My only suggestion would be to cut out the sound affects (i.e. Air horn)

I've downloaded and listen to many episodes and the content is good but the audio quality is so poor that I usually have to turn my radio up to a very high volume just to hear it and then there are spikes and various noises. I also can barely hear any of the callers that contribute to the show. I wish the audio quality was better and I would definitely listen to it on a daily basis

Thought it was a decent podcast until I wasted 42 minutes on your last podcast, where are sources from, truck stop conversations from dumb and dumber? Hope it gets better or I won't waste my time listening.
