I don’t dislike the hosts and they have some decent perspectives (nothing earth-shattering), and they post a lot of content. These folks release a lot of shows, but they are generally short and punctuated with so many commercials, I can’t listen to it anymore. We want to listen in the car, mowing the lawn, at the gym, etc. I should not be constantly reaching for my phone to fast-forward every five minutes. There is no way these guys have enough listeners to make that volume of commercials profitable for either party. Pitch at the beginning, once in the middle, once on the way out. Not before every “segment”. Each “segment” is just one or the other host’s take on the same thing they were just talking about before the last set of commercials. Do better

These Colin Coward wanna be’s are brutal…a constant attempt to hype and create fantasy drama…I listen to fantasy football content all year…always looking for something new and fresh…this wasn’t it…

12-team, Dynasty Superflex PPR league starting 3 WR + 2 other flex. Team A receives Burrow and Kupp. Team B receives Stroud, Jimmy G, and Zay Jones. Can keep my personal feelings out of it as to not put a thumb on the scale, but this seems way too lopsided—unfortunately, most of the league is pretty inactive and indifferent. While Team B could use depth, Jimmy G and Jones are replacement-level players and Stroud is unproven. You don’t give up 2 studs of this level for that even with current injury and age considerations, and trade calculators obviously bear that out. Would love to hear y’all’s opinions, please.

Kate and Marcus are useless

Marcus and Kate are useless and unreliable. You can definitely tell they get fed their info/takes and are cringeworthy to listen to. They clearly no nothing about dynasty as their takes seem to be the same as my 12 year old Nephew who recites Matthew Berry’s takes on a weekly basis. However, I really enjoy listening to Matt and Ryan because they actually know what they are talking about and are good personalities. I’d suggest skipping the Marcus and Kate episodes because they truly are just a waste of time.

Ryan McDowell is a class act. Great takes and analysis. But when Marcus and Kate are on, I question whether they have ever won anything in dynasty fantasy football based on their values and player analysis. They take redraft values, mix a little off-season speculation, and call it dynasty. Bad form. Keep Ryan, Trade Kate, Cut Marcus.

Get rid of Kate. She really brings the podcast down. Her takes are not professional level. Fix the production too. Volume levels are all over the place. Very noisy voice recordings and commercials make me turn volume down.

I have been a listener since the Dynasty Blueprint days and man do I miss that podcast. Matt & Ryan always deliver great content, but my goodness at the number of ads now! Seriously 50% of the show!!! Marcus make great points but must have chronic back pain from carrying Kate through ever single show.

The advertisement to content ratio is pretty bad. Seems like most of the show is just advertisements.

Listening to Kate talk about fantasy football is like listening to me give advice on stock because I once watched Wolf on Wall Street. I like different opinions, but it’s the lack of understanding and logic behind the opinions that is frustrating.

Matt is ok

His re-writing every ad copy to make them personal to him are the most cringey thing in any fantasy podcast I listen to. I am certain he doesn’t have friends who tell him how good LinkedIn is. Who does he think believes this stuff? And his self-important takes exaggerating everything and backing it up based on his failed career as a scout are unbearable. He talks down to his audience so much and yet based on the other reviews most listeners eat it up. Ryan is great but I don’t know how he can stand talking to Matt every day. Kate and Marcus are good too. Apparently people don’t like a woman knowing more about fantasy than they do.

Kate said she preferred 27 y/o Ekeler over 21 y/o breece Hall (Oct 11 2022). I’m sorry but she needs to go, that’s just plain stupidity. I question her and anyone that would continue to air her opinions on the podcast. Unfollowed.

I’ve returned to this pod weekly hoping to see the episode for Buy, Sell, Hold on the Miami Dolphins, and yet out of all 32 teams in the league, this episode does not exist. The episodes go from the Bills, to the Patriots, then Rookie WR’s then Jets. Tweeted at the show asking when the episode was coming out, and no reply.

It’s entertaining listening to Marcus trying to be polite with Kate's takes. Kate tends to talk too much and never says anything. Her and Marcus’ shows are super clunky and difficult to listen to. Kate is better when she has a character limit; I’d rather read her Twitter takes. Gets too caught up in “her guys” and loses objectivity. I like the length of the podcasts, and Ryan/Matt shows are great- lots of good content

I like the podcast. It is very informative. My beef is with the commercials and plugs. The commercials are extremely loud, loud enough to hurt your ears with earbuds in. TV solved that problem by passing a law about the volume on commercials. I will never give someone a 5 star rating who asks for it. The same way I will never make something my first listen if someone tells me to. Let the podcast stand on its own merits. Your reviews and ratings would be better.

Kate and Marcus have horrible audio issues and there are way too many commercials spread out through the whole episode. Dynasty Dude and Dynasty Nerds are the best dynasty options.

Cut back by eliminating the Kate and Marcus shows but the endless ads on the excellent Ryan and Matt shows finally overwhelmed me.

Guess I should of read show notes but thought the original got replaced and new hosts aren’t listenable. I listen to 10 dif dynasty pods and can listen to them all and some can get boring but This duo is ear wrenching

Way too many advertisements. Which is a shame, because I really want to listen. The content is decent, but not engaging enough to keep listening past the ads. I was subbed for a while but I’m unsubscribing. There are other pods that have less advertisements that offer similar/better content.

Matt and Ryan are 2 very knowledgeable and respectable dynasty fantasy football analysts.. Marcus and Kate together are horrendous.. Marcus seems fine but Kate.. man oh man.. who hurt you?? Why do you feel like you need to take over the conversation each and every episode?? Michael scott said it best..” Sometimes I’ll start a sentence and I don’t know where it’s going. I just hope to find it somewhere along the way. Like an improv conversation. An improversation.” That is literally Kate word for word

Those guys have great discussions and in depth analysis. They are even keeled and help keep a pulse on the Dynasty community. They’d be near 5 stars. The other hosts act like their opinion is gold and there is no debate. Hot takes with no backup. They don’t seem to have much chemistry either. I purposely avoid their episodes because it’s not worth listening to. Easily one of the worst dynasty content I’ve heard in podcast form.

I’ve been a fan of Ryan and Matt for a long time and really loved when they were the only hosts of this show. They were able to have longer episodes and often had interesting guests join them on the show. I actually don’t mind the shorter format episodes these days, but the problem is the other two hosts. Kate and Marcus seem like totally decent people but I can’t bring myself to listen to their episodes. I’ve really tried, but their content is clunky and awkward and really hard to get through. Also their analysis tends to be pretty reactionary for a dynasty show. Stick the the Ryan and Matt episodes. Also the commercial to content ratio is pretty brutal across the board (Seems like others have said the same in the past but no changes have been made at all). Come on y’all, take some feedback!

The length and frequency of ads on this podcast is insufferable.

I think Ryan’s and Matt’s shows are amazing and I listen to every one of their’s weekly. If this podcast was just them, I would give 5 stars. As for Marcus’ and Kate’s shows, I will literally only listen to them if I’m in the middle of my workout and have nothing else to listen to. I have found their advice/content to feel far more like a redraft show than a dynasty show and it is not helpful to me. If this podcast was just them, I would not subscribe to it and I would rank it at 1-2 stars (only possibly 2 because they aren’t bad hosts in terms of entertainment value).

Titles says it all. I understand ads are how you make money. I get it. But I’m a 25 minute show there shouldn’t be 6 minutes devoted to ads. Take notes from CBS and the Footballers; sprinkle them in. Here it feels like it’s copy about built bar with the occasional fantasy football sprinkled in. That’s why this show is only played when I’ve gone through the rest and maybe now only once or twice a week.

I liked the longer shows of the Dynasty Blueprint days, especially in the offseason. Ryan and Matt do a great job. I find Marcus and Kate to be a bit clichéd at times.

Love the hosts and the content, but this show has more ads in 25 minutes than a lot of my other pods do in over an hour. And every time that inter cap lending guy starts yelling I want to destroy my speaker. Get less greedy with ad revenue or I’ll get my info elsewhere.

I listen to a lot of fantasy football podcasts and I can confidently say this is the worst I’ve heard. The analysis is stale and cold with absolutely no insight. Kate is the only one who’s not flat bad. The only value I get out of this podcast is doing the opposite of what the hosts say. And the ads. My goodness can we talk about the ads? Each pod has 15 minutes of boring fantasy football analysis and 16 minutes of annoying ads. They should really stop making these, I genuinely think it will help all of those involved in its production.

12 minutes into the June 22nd episode and they just now start talking about fantasy.

Don’t really understand why Matt & Ryan get ONE episode a week now when they are far and away the better, more knowledgeable duo. Would love separate shows, so I could only list to those two (again)! Kate and Marcus are about as interesting as watching grass grow. I’d feel bad if I were the only one who felt that way, but I am not.

SO MANY ADS!! It’s ridiculous honestly. Ryan and Matt are VERY in tune to the dynasty community (Ryan especially). Kate and Marcus.. not so much. I’ve listened to almost every episode and I find that the quality of analysis goes down a TON depending on the hosts. Desperately needs to replace Kate and Marcus.

I understand it’s a business and there’s the need to make profit, but this show had more ads and fluff talk than actual content in the more recent 27 minute episode. This went from a favorite to a bottom priority podcast listen

As much as i appreciate efficiently articulating your point, this the most vanilla dynasty show I’ve ever listened to. The analysis and critical thinking is surface level. Couple that with 10% advertisements….a 30 min podcast has 3 min of ads? No thanks! All in all, at least i know where the floor is on fantasy podcasts.

Kate and Marcus show is completely and entirely useless. The Matt and Ryan shows are valuable insight, but I’ve never listened to a shorter podcast with more of the total real estate given to ads. I have no problem with ads in podcasts. The podcast is free, the ad helps the creators get paid. I’m all about it. But, in a 30 minute episode probably 10-12 minutes are ads. Beginning, middle, middle again, end. Like many people, I get a lot of my podcasts in while exercising/driving. The amount of pausing and skipping I have to do means I can’t listen to this one while doing either. I’m unsubbing until they can get it figured out. Maybe if enough people write reviews and unsubscribe the message will actually be heard.

This podcast has more breaks for advertising than any I’ve tried to listen to. There are ones equally valuable who don’t break for ads 3 or 4 times every episode. Listen to those.

I joined a dynasty league recently and wanted information to gain an advantage. The two glaring problems with this podcast. The first: as everyone else has said, there are a lot of ads compared to listening time. I know at least 20% of the time is ads. The second issue is the content. Today, Monday, a new episode was released on the biggest nfl losers after the draft. However, yesterday there was a podcast released by the DFL Dynasty Podcast that’s topic was the biggest NFL loser & winners after the draft. Pretty much it was an exact copy of another podcasts content except it had less ads. Do yourself a favor and seek out the other dynasty podcasts.
