Brooke is awesome. I love her show - every episode is super engaging and she just has got *it*. I also love that she doesn’t tip toe around or shy away from certain topics that some other beauty pods and hosts *cough* rhymes with floss pangeles *cough* just refuse to acknowledge.

I love how you uplift women of color without allowing negativity into the space. It’s a positive and informative podcast. I meet new business owners and creatives. I’m likely at least 20 years older than the ladies but just as excited to learn about brands unknown to me. It’s full of tips and triumphs. Glad you’re on the West Coast. I’m in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle). I appreciate the cultural changes. LA is “special” meant in the manner that it’s not to be taken seriously but there are great things in the city.

…AND I also like to add some essential oil drops to the inside tube of the toilet paper roll. My bathroom smells lovely!

Naked Beauty has been my favorite since the beginning. From the guests and topics covered to Brooke and the community that she’s built— it’s hand down the the best beauty podcast. I’ve learned so much myself and will never stop recommending it to others!

Brooke is a queen and the podcast never disappoints. She always breaks the news and gets interviews with the beauty ppl I want to hear from. One of my favorite listens of the week.

I love this podcast! I started listening last year sometime because I enjoyed honest conversations about beauty and wanted to start taking my skincare more seriously. I got that, but I continue to get so much more. I hear perspectives that differ from my own and ideas that contribute to my ongoing education of what beauty actually is in contrast with what we have been taught by schools, media, etc. I often do my self-care routine while listening and I’m grateful for each takeaway, and what each guest answers to the question “when do you feel most beautiful?”

This episode was so insightful. It was great to get a straight guy’s perspective. I think the brand story is missing from a lot of these celeb beauty brands. Like owning a vineyard and tapping into the grape narrative tells us nothing about why you want to enter skincare. 😭😭. I wasn’t so surprised by Travis cause I’ve at least seen him discuss wellness and things that’s are adjacent to beauty/skin. Still unnecessary but i was less perturbed. Also a celeb beauty brand that doesn’t feel like a celeb beauty brand is rose inc. I never associate Rosie with it. It’s interesting how she’s been able to to give it a life of its own. Lastly, I’m glad Brad credited HipHop and Black people with regard to making oneself a brand and having different ventures. The blueprint as always. 😌💅🏿

If you’re looking for a fun, informative, curious and honest podcast about skin care/make up, then this is it. Hard stop. Her recognizing the impact the current political activities have on our mental health and providing tips to help us prioritize easy self care is lovely. It’s a treat!

This episode was so timely. True beauty encompasses more than great skin it starts with a healthy positive mind & body. Great job incorporating all three. Your episode on Liposuction was everything! I’m going to be getting micro body contouring liposuction in a few weeks so it was great to listen to someone who I feel like I relate to, and has undergone the procedure that I’m getting, and in the exact same areas of my body as well. It gives me some comfort because the journey to doing lipo is confusing and scary. Her struggles with body image perception is what really resonated with me because it’s the same reason I was drawn to liposuction. My plastic surgeon strongly advised I get anesthesia which I was reluctant to do but ultimately agreed to & I’m so glad I did because after hearing her experience I finally understand what they meant by it being horrific to be awake for. But I really appreciate this episode because there’s not a lot of people who are willing to talk about this experience so publicly, so it’s harder for someone who is interested in getting lipo to hear real life testimonials that don’t feel like advertisement.

I’ve tried other beauty podcasts but this is by far my favorite. The content here is smart and insightful.

This is the only beauty podcast. Been listening since the dawn of the pandemic, and this has brought me through lol. Brooke is so knowledgeable and thoughtful- she and her guests have taught me so much. They talk not a only about beauty, but also career, adversity, business, equity, values, etc!! I tell anyone I can to give this podcast a listen.

As a longtime listener (started in 2017) I am never not an awe of Brooke and what she’s been able to pull off with this brilliant show. Her commitment to hair and body health and education has elevated my regimen in the best way. She consistently invites interesting and knowledgeable guests on the show and her passion and excitement for all things beauty is a genuineness that I really appreciate as a black woman. Unlike others, she truly cares about the content she creates and it’s evident in each episode. Must listen!

I have been listening to this podcast for a couple of years. I trust what Brooke has to say because she is not just another influencer who decided to start a podcast. She brings on knowledgeable guests and asks thoughtful questions. Her podcasts reminds me that beauty starts by first loving and accepting yourself.
