I was 23 when the movie came out, I honestly cannot remember when or where or if I saw the film in a theater, but I was in, but somehow, I saw the film and have enjoyed watching & rewatching & analyzing the science vs the fiction, and when I can turn off my brain and have a laugh… Shamefully, the same can be said for the television show… I know I didn’t see it on Showtime, but some how I saw the original “Children of the Gods” with the “boobies n tha bush” and I have been a fan since then…. That was 30 yrs ago and I can still rewatch a good number of episodes of every Stargate show and still get the feelz… Though embarrassingly late to your podcast, I have been enjoying your recaps while at work and find myself laughing out loud like a psycho at random times during the night.. Thanks.. You guys are the best..!!🤣🤣🤣

I’m so glad to have found a podcast that talks about my favorite show. I’ve been watching all the stargazes since they aired on tv. I’ve even read some of the books. I can’t wait till you guys talk about stargate universe. I enjoyed it for a bit. But keep up the good work. I’m always waiting for the next episode.

Guys have great chemistry and it’s an easy listen but almost every episode at least one of the guys will say something to the effect of “oh, I had the episode on while I was doing other stuff, didn’t pay attention” or “I didn’t finish it” or even “I didn’t get around to watching this one”. So a lot of times you are listening to people critique a show they either barely saw or didn’t at all. Yall have one job.

2 seasons into the podcast and I’m loving it. Throughly entertaining. Now if only I could tell you guys’ voices apart…

Well put together podcast, good sound quality..... Has a specific target audience that I am not a part of. I found a lower sound quality StarGate podcast that’s much better, in my opinion.

I’m super late to this party but am loving listening to the show from the beginning. Stargate has been one of my favorite shows from the time I was in middle school and when I’d tell my friends about it the frequent response was, “oh, my Dad watches that show!” It’s nice to listen to people, who like Stargate as much as I do, talk about the show.

I’ve been listening for about 3 months now and can honestly say that these gents (and I use that term loosely!) are AWESOME! I’ve been watching Stargate for more than 15 years but it’s always been a challenge to find people who love the show as much I do. These guys make me feel like I am part of their crew and I am so happy to have found such a great podcast to go through the Gate with. Keep up the great work and know that you have yet another listener whose day is made just a little brighter through hysterical laughter. If your feeling lonely, then Gate into Gate is the podcast for you. Guaranteed to make you the center of attention as every person on the elevator looks at you because your laughing uncontrollably. Coworkers you’ve never spoken to before will be peaking over they’re cubicle walls to make sure your ok because trying to hold in the giggles makes it sound like your chocking! The boys are truly hilarious. Be careful though... they may ruin you for other podcasts. Once you’ve had these Aussies... others just can’t compare.

I discovered this podcast at the suggestion from a mutual fan of a difference podcast at the beginning of the COVID self isolation in the US. I have been a fan of both SG1 and Atlantis for years but have not rewatched in......way too long. I took trying this podcast as a reason to rewatch one gem of a sci-fi franchise and was not disappointed. Fast foreward to three months later and I am hooked and looking forward everyday to the time when I can listen to the pod. Seeing each episode through the eyes of a newbie is so refreshing and the humor all four (sometimes five) of the hosts inject into their discussion has me frequently laughing out loud or biting my cheek so I dont cackle as I'm walking to my car after a long shift at work. This is the absolute best podcast I have listened to ever. I highly recommend everyone download and start listening. Right. Now.

I discovered this podcast after seeing a recommendation for it on reddit. I’ve been listening to about two to three episodes per night since I stumbled across it a month ago. It’s funny, engaging, insightful, and all around good fun. I first started watching Stargate when I was about 10 years old and no one understood my obsession with it. It’s so cool to hear how much other people loved it too, and I love listening to Rhys’ reactions as a first time listener! I live in Austin, Texas and right now, with the coronavirus quarantines, our bars and restaurants are largely shuttered, most stores have closed their doors, and we’re all basically stuck inside with an economic catastrophe on the horizon. To me, it’s wonderful to have this podcast to listen to every night because I need a reason to laugh. Thank y’all for being awesome and giving this girl something to look forward to each day!

I'm working through Stargate as a first time watcher, and this is the perfect podcast to go with it since they have a first time watcher as well (thanks, Rhys). It's hilarious, stupid, and sometimes even insightful, so basically everything I want in a podcast. I listen a lot while driving, and at times I've cracked up laughing and had to pause it so I could actually focus on the road. Highly recommend.

I haven’t listen to music in weeks thanks to my need to listen to these fabulous guys. I make sure to listen to them before my rewatchs, since they point out details I missed the first few times I watched each episode. It is also great to listen to them wind each other up and then laugh together. My commute as been immensely improved since I found this podcast. If you love Stargate check this out. If you’ve never watched Stargate be Rhys and give it a try with friends from down under.

Is it a coincidence that the two best podcasts in existance are watching and reviewing the two best sci-fi series of all time, Trek and Gate? Who cares! Just go give it a listen! I was pointed toward these guys from a fellow fan of the other best podcast ever (a Trek podcast), and thank Apophis for that! I love these guys. Absolutely brilliant! Do yourself a favor and listen along, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cry from laughter. And each week you’ll get to find out if Rhys has been paying attention, which is exactly like Who Wants to be a Millionaire if it was all Stargate, there were no prizes and your phone a friend call was just your best friends making fun of you. Huge fan of SG-1 but I’ve been away from it for a while. I stumbled on this podcast and I’ve gotten re-hooked on the show all over again! Listening to the guys chatting about the show is like watching and analyzing it like the super-SG-1 geek that I am and like having a convo with the Gate-addicted friends I never knew I needed. And now I am seriously addicted to this podcast. If you like Stargate SG-1, love nitpicking the details and have a sense of humor, this is the podcast for you.

This is the best and funniest stargate podcast. I don't usually listen to podcasts, but this one holds my interest and has me laughing out loud at work LOL. I definitly reccomend giving these guys a listen if you like stargate or anything nerdy sci-fi related.

In depth discussions of the physics of using a wormhole as a latrine, what’s not to love? (Well, They talk about other things too. love getting the additional perspective of someone who isn’t already a fan of the show and it’s all hilarious. Keep up the great work guys!)

The funniest Stargate podcast around, and really well produced. Been listening since the first season. Only gripe is that lately a huge chunk of the episode is devoted to reading reviews, and I wish they’d spend more time on the episode.

Seriously one of the best podcasts ever. I usually fall behind and then binge a bunch of episodes in a row at work until I catch up & it's delightful to listen to. I especially like all of the Star Trek references and I got into Gilmore Girls because of one of the hosts. He kept talking about it and it finally wore me down so much that I told my girlfriend one day “hey, you know that show you really like and constantly quote? We should watch it, Get into Gate says that it’s a good show.” I thought i would think it was okay and not hate it. I ended up loving it. We are now in season five and going strong. It does have its wacky, makes no sense moments (that is NOT how alarm systems work in houses!) or its overly dramatic awkward moments, but, overall is still pretty good. I like to believe that I treat guests exactly the way Michel does except without the French accent. He’s the best. Very glad I gave it a shot. All because of the amazing tastes of Get Into Gate hosts. Thanks, guys! You’ve introduced me to a new show PLUS I got points for watching something my girlfriend likes. I just need to use that to get her to watch some TNG with me. Oh, where was I...right, reviewing a podcast about Stargate and not Gilmore Girls... Get Into Gate is one of the few podcasts about Stargate that is still around and actually worth a listen. They have great chemistry and almost seem like brothers giving each other a hard time but all in good humour. Pretty sure a couple of them actually are brothers but I feel like they could ALL be brothers.

One of the funniest group of guys with hilarious banter and good points throughout. Not only is it over my favorite TV show but they point out flaws/goofs and trivia of the show that I never of which I find interesting. Great stuff, guys, keep it up!

This show has rekindled my love of this show and got me rewatching the series, remembering old favorite episodes and reliving many of them as though they’re brand new. I watched the series through once in DVD after the show was nearing its end - I remember when it came out after the movie and I loved it as a kid - and a couple more times since, but this is like seeing it new. The guys are great - even the annoying one - and they mix real analysis with snarky humor. It also asks the important questions, like can I poop through the gate? How far can I move into the gate to effectively poop through the gate? Should the gate be horizontal or vertical for comfort, while pooping through the gate? In hind sight, this show is basically a running intergalactic poop joke. 5/5. Give these stinkers a listen!

These guys are great. Stargate is great. The sound level balancing between hosts is an embarrassment though. Get it together fellas!

Easily the best Stargate first watch-rewatch podcast out there. I started out listening to a couple, but after a few weeks I ditched the other one and went exclusively to Get Into Gate. The show is hilarious, the banter is great, and it's awesome as a long-time fan who's seen each episode I dunno how many times to hear a new viewer's take on them. The episodes were always good, but they're even better now that they're back to doing "It's Time to Find Out if Rhys Has Been Paying Attention" each episode. Keep up the outstanding work, guys!

Of all the Stargate podcasts put on by Australian men, this is definitely my favorite. I laugh along with all of their antics and look forward to hearing what they'll think of what COOPAH is up to. I signed up for this iTunes account and downloaded the program to my laptop so that I could tell them I wish they'd quiz Reese more often so I can hear Dr. Jackson tell him his Father made him wrong and call him a stupid son of a b*tch. I love the StarTrek refs, they make my nerdy fangirl heart happy!

Great, funny, insightful. I've never left a comment or rated a podcast, first time. Huge Stargate fan and have been looking for a good podcast ever since Gateworld stopped pumping there's out as much. Love the contrast between the long time viewers and the newbie. The friendship between the guys really plays into the laughs and makes it feel like you're sitting there with them, joking around.
