Couple of fan boys who have never played a down of meaningful football in their life attempting to evaluate football. The one kids feminine voice is tough to take seriously.

No real analysts just two airhead talking heads generating hype for a mediocre team. Change the podcast name to Fanboys talking about football lol Zack Hicks is a more worse “analyst” than Anthony Richardson is a quarterback and Anthony Richardson is awful.

I’ve enjoyed these guys so much over the years. Great depth and analysis for fans that are new to the Colts world or long standing fans.

I listen to severa Locked On podcasts, and this is by far the best with much deeper analysis than most. It is also more honest and objective about the team, while other Colts pods seem to take the view that everything the team does is always exactly perfect.

Zach’s voice puts me to sleep. No energy. Can’t listen without getting bored. And I’m a huge colts fan.

No better spot for Colts talk this time of year.

Would love this much more if Zach realizes he’s not a comedian. He chuckles after almost every comment. Don’t get me wrong Zach studies well and knows football. I love humor but c’mon bro please stop laughing at everything you say. Jake - you are great.

Been following for a while now, and Jake and Zach have absolutely killed it since taking over. Jake calmly anchors conversations with a thorough knowledge of the team and Zach’s obsession with film analysis makes for really interesting and well-rounded coverage. Hicks seems to be the most consistently accurate predictor of Colts draft picks and mentalities that I’ve ever seen. Not to mention the amount of content - these guys had post draft podcasts and articles on players up so quickly after each day of the draft that it really enhanced the experience of following the team. These aren’t dated old radio guys with annoying cliche talking points and click bait topics, but instead are fresh and intelligent and up-to-date on league trends. Even their ad topics are impressive to me because it’s not just car sales and beer, but instead they’ll champion talk therapy and help de-stigmatize mental health issues by discussing them matter-of-factly. Just can’t recommend the Locked On Colts coverage enough if you’re a Colts fan. You’ll be a more engaged and more intelligent fan after following this show.

You are a little bit off on your Wentz evaluation. Put Rivers, Brissett in the Draft with him and Ballard would pick Wentz every time. Come on size, RAS, arm, National Championships pedigree. Combine workout and pro day performance. No Contest. Now his one year Colt performance compared was NFL RECORD and INDY COLT RECORD LEGENDARY Hard to believe. Rivers, playoffs. Wentz through surgery, injuries that sidelined Nelson, JT (the next year) performed at an extremely high level positionally. Rivers 24 TD’S, 11 TO’S and he produced from the QB position a TD every 23.38 offensive plays. That’s a good year from the position. Wentz 28TD’S, 8 TO’S and he produced a TD every 18.43 offensive plays. OUTSTANDING !!! That’s better than Brady’s 2017 MVP year 18.93. Wentz didn’t win the MVP that year even though he had one more TD in three less games. His QB performance was off the charts good. A TD every 15.27, what a great ceiling. Especially when you compare it to Mahomes 2022 15.76 MVP performance, which was phenomenal.

I’m glad to have another Colts podcast but this is probably the worst. Mostly interviews of other podcast hosts which is somewhat pointless. Manages to get in 3-4 ads per 25 minute show. Oh and quit sharing your uninformed thoughts on unvaccinated players. Many young men have died or had issues with myocarditis after getting the “shot” that doesn’t prevent Covid or stop transmission. Why on earth the would young and healthy people take an ineffective shot that can cause problems and offers no discernible benefits???

Jake Arthur is fine, but Zach Hicks comes across as a bumbling, know it all with terrible jokes to Mirror his poor analysis.

Do you guys think your listeners want to hear your condescending, sky is falling, worst team ever dialog??? If that’s what we wanted we’d listen to bring the juice. Why don’t you act professional, dissect the game, and tell us something we don’t know (Pryor’s PFF grade, how many men were in the box on Henry’s 3 big plays, how much time Ryan has to throw it on avg)

I am a diehard Colts fan and season ticket holder since year one. Along with Rick Venturi, this podcast is the best source for detailed Colts coverage. I’ve long been an admirer of Zach’s video analysis. Both he and Jake know what they are talking about and add to my understanding of what is happening on the field.

I really like the Colts team so I really like this podcast

The hosts are excellent, and when they are actually talking about Colts content, it’s a great listen. Zach is a well-studied film grinder and he provides that insight. But man the CONSTANT ad reads are so obnoxious. It’s a 30 minute show and it’s crammed with as many ad reads as they can possibly slam in there. It completely screws up the flow of the show and I’m constantly spending 30 seconds hitting fast forward to get to another 5 minutes of content before I’m scrubbing through another 3 ad reads again. I’m all for the hosts making money but this is absurd

Hasn’t had a podcast since before the draft

I love the Locked On series of Pods! I love the Colts and getting news about them! However, it seems this Pod isn’t as active as other Locked On series! Not even a single show since the draft concluded!

How is this guy still running this account. Look at how often he creates podcasts compared to ANY OTHER LOCKED ON HOST!! You’re lucky to even get one a week!! I simply asked him on Twitter why he didn’t post very many podcasts and I was blocked. This is pathetic and really upsets me being a colts fan. Please fire this dude and find someone else to run the podcast.

This is my favorite Colts podcast in terms on content. I appreciate that Evan is balanced in praise and criticism. I wish he would enunciate a little more clearly at times.

I listen to them all the others too, but this is the one I hope most to see has a new episode when I wake up. Please keep them coming.

After listening for a couple of months straight, I quite enjoy this podcast. The guests recently have been solid. If I could make one suggestion, it would be for Evan (the host) to enunciate a little better. As in, slowwww downnnn when talking, man. Just being honest, I can barely hear or understand what is being said at times. Maybe I’m the only one, but that’s my take. Definitely keep striving though!

All the technical stuff aside (the show sounds like he’s recording it into his phone, background noise, pops, and clicks) this show is terrible. Poorly researched hosts, the guests are equally awful. I’m baffled why the host even has a show. He has ZERO charisma and no broadcasting skills

Bad audio. Host has no charisma, sounds bored and mad. No insight is ever given. 20 minute episodes are half full with ads. What is there to like? Hosts will block you on Twitter if you even say one thing that is remotely negative

I’ve tried to listen to this painfully awful podcast for well over a year, because I love the Colts that much, all he does is bring on hosts from other pods. So listen to Kevin Bowen, Colts Blue Zone, 1% Better or Stampede Blue and don’t waste your time on this repeated from other podcasts content. Just subscribe directly to their pods. If you give him constructive criticism he will just block you. He never listens to the other co-hosts comments and interacts he just moves on to the next question. I’ve stayed with it for a year hoping it will get better and because I love the Colts. This is just dreadful.

Poor quality show with dry, humorless host Evan. Knowledge of football is also very poor. One episode I listened to had literally 10 minutes of dead air. I've listened to around 10 episodes because I enjoyed the previous host, this podcast just isn't worth your time anymore.

This podcast features an excellent lineup of guests and Evan knows the right questions to ask. My favorite and a go-to for me. Every show is must listen. Zach Hicks and George Bremer get a special shout out as I particularly look forward to shows featuring them. Seriously, if you are looking for Colts content, you’ve come to the right place.

Great podcast, but seriously, minimize the background noise (phone) and upgrade your mic.

The topics and information is very good. Sound quality and flow are a little shaky. Will have commercials cut in when people are mid word or in mid sentence. Other than the timing of the commercials and the low sounding audio it is a good podcast

It’s a great podcast and very informative. I would consider getting a new microphone though. The Sound Quality can be very shotty sometimes.

I love to get as much info on the Colts as possible, and this podcast brings me as close to the action as possible!

I’m not one for listening to podcasts, but this one is absolutely great! Love hearing about the colts from someone who genuinely cares about the time and knows a lot about them! Locked on Colts and Locked on Pacers are the BEST!!!
