OtherShaunOh! What a progeemHowdy Doodie! It’s fun to listen to them talk about good shows, it’s really funny when Quinn gets mad and starts ranting! Don’t miss the exciting f******g action!
-
Deadhead-Dan10Big fan!Two good natured longtime friends hit all the big classic moments. Informative and funny! UPDATE: Been listening 9 months or so and live this show more and more. Like putting on a comfy slipper or talking to a childhood friend—they remind me of a simpler and more wholesome time for some reason. Funny and also biting! Quinn is hilariously quirky and Joe is the great straight man keeping the wheels on the road, but who also has his own brand of humor. It is now a Top 5 show in my Arsenal of dozens! Updated July 2023: Now it’s the show I probably listen to more than any others!

Larry F 13A Main Event Podcast Anywhere in the CountryI love Joe and Quinn. They dive into classic WWF content, some of it amazing, some of it dreadful. But their observations, references and takes make every minute amazing. They share my love of Gorilla Monsoon and his hilarious malaprops, Mean Gene’s peculiar way of pronouncing certain words & so many other things. And, really importantly, they care about their listeners, which is appreciated. To paraphrase the immortal Johnny V, Parlez Vous Scrambled Eggs Grandma, it doesn’t get any better than OVP.

ZipperStainone of the best!Absolutely love this show. From the audio clips to the different segments each season, it's just one of the very best out there for that old skool wrestling!!
-
sniffy2007They hooked me!With a Walmart gift card! Not really… I initially put this show on cuz I liked their logo and subject matter (mid-80s WF). My first reaction (like with most people) is that they were going to annoy me. That was happily not the case! Now I’m a Patreon and proud. I like the calmness (nice to nap to and that’s a compliment!), the humor mixed with interesting info, the dynamic of Quinn being funny and whimsical and Joe being the good straight man calling the plays. Keep it up! Love the 84 canon but sticking around for the other content too!

declan in omahaNot for Dave Meltzer fansWorking my way through the back catalogue now and it’s amazing. The Mount Rushmore/Death Valley segments are always on point. Keep it up fellas!

Frozen.44There it is!Do you like 80s and 90s pro wrestling? Of course you do. If you like old school wrestling and funny conversations between two old friends, give OVP a chance. I give OVP my highest recommendation. One of the best wrestling podcasts around. Get some groceries, some peanut butter pie, and chill out with Joe and Quinn for 90 minutes and go back in time to when wrestling was good.
-
LouMan1991Love this show! One of the best wrestling podcasts out there - wrestling old or new. Fast paced, always energetic, professional, and amazing audio quality. I don't always agree with them, but that's the entire point. They give THEIR "vantage point" and allow people to discuss, disagree, debate, on their FB group or Twitter. And they do it without pretending to be know it alls or arrogant. Just a fantastic show that I'm glad I found!
-
eprice43Entertaining Retro Wrestling PodcastIf you like old wrestling this is the podcast for you!
-
Rockin RonGreatI gave this show a try a few weeks ago, and it has moved into my mandatory listen rotation! The show is well paced and very entertaining! Keep up the great work guys!
-
BeaverBeaver135Really really good showThis show flies under the radar with all of the big time wrestlng podcasts out there, but it is a VERY well produced show. they talk about WWF/E a lot, but also other promotions., which is cool too. And they try to be informative without pretending to be insiders or journalists. It's also very funny and likeable. Just a warning though: if you take wrestling way too seriously, this isn't the show for you This is for people who are self aware enough to laugh at the good and bad of retro wrestling. Love it guys!
-
YanksNYG80It’s pandemoniumJust discovered this podcast and it has made my commute to work enjoyable. These guys are very entertaining and provide a very fun retrospective on the wrestling we grew up with. Keep up the good work.
-

DrunkRalphReally fun showJust found out about this show a month ago and love it! Brings back memories and things I completely forgot (and wish stay forgotten) about retro wrestling
-
GiffyGreat show!I’ve been listening to OVP for about 2 years. I absolutely love this show. Very entertaining. Definitely worth a listen if you are into mainly 80s/90s wrestling.
-
Cordogg77Amazing show! The amount of editing and production that goes into the show is what makes it so good. You can tell the hosts really take their time preparing and executing the show. Tell your friends!
-
NyteVyzonVery informed and entertainingThese guys are fun to listen to, know their stuff, and throw in some great 80’s and 90’s pop culture references to make it great. Come for the retro wrestling, stay for the Bret Hart impression.
-
bwlucyQuality productionI am re-writing this review to make my view clear. This is the best produced ( music/sound clips, details etc) of any wrestling podcast out there. Joe And Quinn are great, especially Quinn because he agrees with me about the GOAT, woooo. Joe is ok too. Lol Seriously give it a shot. This listen is fun and their patreon content is unique, fun and affordable. Highly recommend Also very friendly follow on Twitter and Facebook. Lots of fun memories in video clips. Great community
-
McCoyKYAmazingI can’t believe I just came across this podcast. Been burning it up nonstop. Brings back so many memories. Thank you

Occlusion1619A Positive, Unique Spin on Retro Wrestling!I got introduced to this duo via Twitter! After becoming a fan of their Twitter posts, I decided to give their Podcast a try! It is fantastic! Here are two best friends just doing what they love: talking about retro wrestling! You can see they are doing what they are passionate about and love through their chemistry, humor, and presentation. Their discussions include both personal opinion/preferences and objective analysis. The PPV Reviews on the 5 dollar Patreon tier are tremendous! The running gags and over-the-top voice intimidations are hilarious! All around, this an outstanding podcast if you are looking a fun, educating, humorous discussions, rankings, analysis, and suffering (Think reviewing WM 2!) They have come a long way in over 4 years and they are only just getting started! Highly recommend. Do it for the People. Do it...for the Rock! -GPB

1985jd7OVPBeen listening for over two years now, and this show just keeps getting better. If you grew up watching 80’s and 90’s WWF like we did than this is the show for you. Joe and Michael are witty, smart, and know how to make you have a good time as you listen. Check it out you won’t regret it.
-
the original spice beefInformative and FunnyOne of the best, if not the best podcast about old school wrestling there is today. Makes my day to listen and relive the past glorious days of my youth.
-
Flynny300Great listeningTop notch for any level wrestling fan, makes my days at work easier in the truck listening to this.
-
pebbtrWrestlemania IIIJust listened to the complete Wrestlemania 3 review and I have to say, it was simply outstanding. So much detail, information, insight and humor. I have followed this account on Twitter for a long time and have always enjoyed the content on Twitter but never got into the podcasts until I found the link for the Wrestlemania review. I am now listening to everything I have missed out on while on my daily walks. Great stuff so far and keep it up!
-
Tutone1977One of the MOST CONSISTENT Wrestling PodsI cannot recommend Our Vantage Point - Retro Wrestling Podcast enough. I first found them after listening to their Wrestlemania III free review. It gave me all the feels as they say and instantly brought me back to being a kid wearing out my dubbed VHS of the event! After that first listen, I became a Patreon of theirs. Best $5 I spend each month. As far as their regular feed, they are week in and week out so consistently great! They put so much fun, entertaining content (and quality audio too!) into each weekly episode that they could easily spread it out over 2 or 3 different episodes. But they don’t! The segments are creative and enjoyable. The Royal Rankings/Flush is great as well as the retro reviews in each episode. I could go on but If you’re a wrestling fan, please try out OVP. They are fans just like me and it comes through genuinely.
-
Tone31For True fans of wrestling 80’s-early 2000’sStarted listening just to kill radio time while my local teams stunk it up. Ended up streaming from episode 1 to about 125 straight! So entertaining and informative. Joe and Quinn have revitalized my love of 90’sish wrestling. A must listen if you were watching back then
-
cherrick4949Keep up the great work.I discovered you guys via the videos you post on Twitter. I have switched allegiances from the Conrad empire. Keep up the hijinks and hilarity.
-
Jonathan FaccentoA Brutally Honest Wonderful ReviewI follow the Twitter account. I like the clips, they are very good clips. So after all that entertainment, I figure I’ll listen. I owe them that much. At first listen, Quinn has a slightly annoying voice. I march on. The young up and comers and royal rankings segments hooked me. Now I stick around for the reviews. I don’t understand why they call it “WF” and get the first W out, but I also purposely botch DiBiase’s as a goof with friends, so I get this. These guys know their stuff and I appreciate the awesome audio editing with attention to detail that fans of over 30 years like me appreciate. I’m a weekly listener of only a few weeks, but like referee Danny Davis in 95, in a few years plan to say, “STILL HERE.”
-
Football Fanatic247FantasticHands down my favorite wrestling podcast. So entertaining. And the PPV reviews on Patreon are WELL WORTH IT!

Connor McG 207Such a fun trip down memory laneThis is a must listen to for retro wrestling fans . Just two ordinary fans taking a fun, whimsical and occasionally informative look back at popular and not so popular wrestling of the ‘80s through ‘00s. This show never fails to cheer me up.

CaptCabanaOld school in the best way possible!Let’s be honest, guys. Wrestling these days is not the greatest. We all kind of miss the wrestling we grew up with. We long for the days when used to have a passion for it. If you long for those days as well, then I urge you to join Joe and Michael and listen to when wrestling was great! You’re going to be super entertained, I promise you.
-
JMahlerHPerfect Wrestling PodcastOVP has become a couple of the most enjoyable hours of every week for me. If you like reminiscing about your formative and impressionable years from ‘87-‘95 with some of your favorite, fun-loving friends...this is it. Joe and Quinn are so similar, and yet so distinct, like a retro wrestling Waldorf and Statler. Segments are great. ‘Rushmore & Death Valley’ might become a household game soon :) Love everything about it!!
-
Dino Bravo's Side SuplexFive and a quarter stars! It’s as fun as watching classic wrestling with two of your friends. If you’re a wrestling fan, and you’re anti-dingi, this is the podcast for you.
