The more I listened, the less I enjoyed.

They used to be funny enough to give their racist innuendoes a free pass, but last episodes they became so grotesque and eschatological that nothing can help them at this point. 1 star because -5 it’s not available

This would be a GREAT show if 85% of it wasn’t them doing plugs,ads and commercials. I swear it’s like 10 minutes of actual stories and jokes and 35 minutes of where their shows are going to be, ads and commercials

This has turned into a few comedians talking about nonsense, 3 stories about 3-5 minutes each depending on episode, 20 minutes of ads and 35 minutes of promoting shows. Boring

Binge worthy. The Sklar brothers and Daniel are hilarious! You will not be disappointed. They do a great job of introducing you to other comedians and ways of supporting them too.

This show is now mostly ads, I’m not a fan of the new format. Jason is kind of insensitive with his jokes and a lot of the guests aren’t funny or adding anything either. Everyone talks over each other all the time and it’s hard to hear.

This show doesn’t care if I listen to it or not. The Sklars are very self satisfied hearing their own voice making fun of unfortunate people. I’ve listen to hours of this show and it is really just mean and not funny.

There are so many people talking at once that it’s hard to hear anybody…these are funny but maybe work on one at a time talking…

The Sklar Brothers don’t give anybody else a chance to speak. Too many ads.

I’ve been a faithful fan of the Sklars for many, many years. Now I’m also into Daniel VK as well. DPT is absolutely my comic break in a sometimes hectic and stressful day. They always seem to brighten my day and often make me burst out laughing. Some of these comments drive me crazy though. One person was complaining that the show is just Dan slow reading a stupid story and Randy and Jason interrupting w jokes. EXACTLY! That IS the show. They tell you that over and over again. I’m such a grateful citizen of dumb people town. DVK is an American treasure. Sklar brothers were kind to me and we talked about the Oblongs when I was in college. I proudly rep. DPT. The show never stops being funny. These guys are the biggest cheerleaders to all their guests and the jokes are consistently hilarious. Danny

I’m put off by the number of ads and the amount of airtime spent on promoting themselves and their guests instead of focusing on the reason I originally tuned in - to hear about dumb people’s antics and Jason, Ran’s & Dan’s take on them. I get that you need to promote yourselves and your guests because it supports you all economically, and it should, but at what cost? I can’t listen anymore without thinking I’m a fu$&ing advertising target instead of a fan.

I really enjoyed the show in the past. It has slowly become more commercials and banter than stories. They just did a reboot of the show and i my opinion it didnt help.

The content is good but a majority of this show is ads and plugs. If you skip the ads and plugs the show is only like 10 minutes long.

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate that this is free, but the ad-to-content ratio is painful. It feels like this show is an excuse to promote tour dates with very little substance in between. It’s basically Daniel slow-roll reading you a National Enquirer article while the Sklar brothers make really bad jokes and constantly interrupt Daniel. They also do this super annoying thing where they say the same word at the same time and try to finish each other’s sentences. Like that’s their schtick. It’s unbearable. I LOVE Daniel on pen pals and so I keep giving it a chance. But I think I’m done now.

Longtime fan - always enjoy the show but I liked the back and forth during the Sean Blair episode asking who’s side are you on in the story as I kept changing teams as the story progressed.

I have been listening to this podcast for a couple years and it never disappoints! I consistently laugh every single show! The chemistry between the Sklars and DVK is incredible and their guests just seamlessly riff with the three hosts and the result is always hysterical. Thank you all for your comedic genius and I love guessing along just listening during work or commuting!

I’m an ICU nurse and this podcast is turned on immediately on the drive home from every shift. No matter how insane my day was, these three make me laugh out loud. Love the dumb stories, and love Daniel + Jason and Randy more!

I have been a fan of the show since it was sklarbro country, and the Sklars since cheap seats, but today I’m deleting my subscription. Jason and Randy pale in comparison to Dan, they rehash old, unfunny jokes. Make everything political, but are woefully uninformed. And generally just sneer at anyone/anywhere not from LA or NYC. Not just acknowledging there are stupid people everywhere, of all education levels, on all side of the political aisle. Dan is the only thing keeping this podcast alive and they know it.

The ad breaks aren’t funny and like 10 minutes long. For a short podcast you can say you are sponsored by whoever and not make me feel like I’m losing my mind or banging my head on the wall. Also get rid of mental health app ads. They convince people they are depressed in the same way erectile malfunction ads make people think they can get hard-ons with a pill.

This show is so FUNNY! My only regret is I only found it a few months ago. If you want to laugh out loud listen to this podcast.

Randy, Jay and Dan are hilarious and relatable. The guests and analysis always hit More than a year later, I feel like a townie I wish Dan could use his cop-voice, “hey, buddy” to train actual cops to not yell at brown and Black citizens Love the show!

Love this podcast so much. Leopard Larry is my all time fave, with Jon Hamm in close second. I could do without the music in the live eps but whateves. I always laugh real hard.

Too many people talking at the same time and there are more tangents going off than sticking to a story. I realize I can’t stick to a story in my head, because I really don’t care enough. It just pisses me off.

Thanks guys for helping me through the Pandemic, listening to other's stupidity is keeping me sane, glad there's and extensive back catalog as I consume 2 to 3 eps a day. Love guess the Agee and when I hear "We've got a Greenlee" I get a huge smile. I shout my guesses outlound in my truck along with the boys.

I discovered the amazing Sklar Bros from when they would guest host Rome back in the day. I’m upset I’m just now discovering this show. Wish I would have been more on top of this because this show is da beast

I’ve been following the Sklar Brothers for many, many years, and it started w/ “Cheap Seats” on ESPN Classic. And I never stopped since. Obviously, myself and a lot of people want that to be rebooted, Please! Dan Van Kirk was a welcome addition and took the show to another level! I’m currently re-listening their entire catalog for the second, and some shows third time! Dan’s central Wisconsin roots mix with my own, ie. Princeton county fair, which I grew up going to around the same time, and at least 5 stories that have been in a ten mile radius of my home town (Brookfield, in SE WI)! The proximity, relatability with Dan is heartwarming, but the show on its own is amazing. I look forward to every episode and wish for the day one of the few stories I’ve sent in gets picked! Again, you bring me joy and laughter, and keep up the good work! - Paul from MKE! Love what you do!

I don’t think these morons realize we can’t see them. They never introduce themselves or the guests. They just roll into conversations & inside jokes & neglect the fact that the audience isn’t in the room with them. Other podcasts with a similar premise do it better.

Love the idea and wanted to listen as a chance to laugh and getaway (which is what comedy podcasts are supposed to be about). Most of the time, this is possible, then they drop their political rhetoric and blame idiotic people for their own idiotic personal choices because a Republican is in office... just sad! Stupid people will always be stupid and for your sake, I hope that stays true, but according to your ideology (now that there’s a Democrat in the office of the presidency); there will no longer be someone to entice stupid people to take action upon themself, thus leaving you without a show? I can’t wait to see what happens!

Starts out assuming we know them from previous podcast that doesn't exist anymore. There's a bunch of dude voices that I cant tell apart. It'd be funnier if I didn't feel like I was on the outside of a perpetual inside joke.

Dan and Randy are hilarious, and Jason is also one of the hosts.
