I loved the first episode of Frangela’s new podcast, “Something Ain’t Right.” The duo’s comedic takes on the peculiarities of our times are spot on and very entertaining. This podcast is a great addition to their oeuvre.

Rolling in the aisles funny. Quick on their feet funny. Look forward to their podcast every week. One critique, the audio levels are all over the place. Angela is often a few decibels louder than Frances, while Frances’ audio fades in and out, sometimes so faint she’s barely audible. Needs to be tightened up.

This particular podcast was really brilliant by the two of you. I can’t stress that enough of so many points you made about the shooting. I think this was one of your best podcasts

Frances and Angela have the incredible ability to combine their humorous take on the week’s news and pop culture with resistance and determination. They are so needed.

As a 70 year old duffer with a “Monty Python” sensibility I’m always on patrol for something fresh. I discovered “Quick Draw” on Hulu and an episode called Nickodemus. This was my introduction to Fangela (aka Francis Callier & Angela Shelton) Their improv characters, Margaret and Beatrice will make me laugh hard EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch it. The dialog they came up with have become touch stones for our entire family… “White people running can never be good”, “Like a RO DEE OH” “I went to a place Margaret”. Improv at its best. Then in fandom on to their album “Resist”, too good. Now, the Podcast!! The ladies pull it together with social commentary and then the feature “Idiot of the Week”. A little thinking with a bit of reflection topped off with laughs, what could be a better way to pass some time! Always a pleasure! Remember always, “…there was a time”

American politics and the podcast world need more Black women voices, and I’m so grateful for Frances and Angela—Frangela! for their smart, unvarnished views and analysis. Thank you ladies, you are wonderful!

This is my favorite podcast. The Final Word is informative and REAL! And funny at times. Be forewarned, you may laugh, cry, and rage right along with Francis and Angela in every episode, but you will never be bored, and you will always learn something. Idiot of the Week on the other hand is down right hilarious, and I will pay to hear Frangela’s eventual TED talk about the lives of the stupid, and how not to become one of them (although hopefully I got that on lock)!
