    Worth returning to
I just listened again to Abstinence vs Moderation, and love the mindset shift Rachel offers. I’ve listened to most of these, but find that revisiting the backlog can be really helpful.

    #54 Why I Don't Use Labels
This was an excellent podcast that opened by eyes to a better understanding of labels. I am learning about alcohol use and how I've observed it in myself, my family and society. This podcast made so much sense and was uplifting. Thank you!

When I’m feeling anxious and alone
I love this podcast. It’s such a light in the dark when I’m feeling shameful, alone or anxious. I can’t express how much it means to me.

    Love this podcast
I am a male in my late 50s and have never been completely ‘out of control’ with drinking, but like many other people I have become “sober curious” of late. To that end, I explored many books and podcasts on the topic and Rachel‘s podcast is hands-down the best! I did my first full dry January this year and since then I’ve cut my drinking roughly in half from where I was previously. Thank you so much Rachel!

    Great podcast for growth!
I started listening to this podcast because I wanted to explore my relationship with alcohol more deeply, but Rachel’s advice has allowed me to examine so much more than just that. It’s a great podcast that I recommend for anyone who feels they have barriers in any aspect of their life!

    Labels
Just listened to the podcast regarding labels and it very much resonated with me. Important perspective on alcohol stigmas AND very refreshing to expand my thinking that I do not have to accept any label at all. We are not a one-size fits all society. I now want to listen to more of her podcasts.

    Special Occasion Drinking
I’ve been l listening to this podcast for a while now, this is my first review. I gain insight into my relationship with alcohol in every episode I listen to. This particular one is short and sweet and only has me ask myself and answer one question on these occasions. Brilliant! Listen for yourself to hear straight from Rachel. She says it best.

    Labels defined
What a fabulous podcast regarding the tendency for labeling things, and the tendency to limit the outcomes because of labeling. Wish this teaching was around when I was younger. Truly helpful in providing effective tools to help us retrain our thoughts to bring about successful outcomes for ourselves and others without using a judgment measure. Thank you!!!

    Labels
Excellent podcast regarding the antiquated use of labeling in drinking. Highlights the gray areas and is a positive reminder that we can change our brains
  • A human-being, not a label!
    Labels regarding alcohol consumption
Rachel Hart did an amazing job of describing how labels, such as alcoholic and sober can have such negative connotations and group individuals into stereotypes that may not apply to individuals! There are so many variables and differences in everyone and labels do not share those characteristics. The one example that really stood out to me was about a person labeled disabled! She described that her environment was disabling her, turning the situation completely around and removing the label on the person to that of the environment. I came away thinking we should never label anyone. We are all unique in our own characteristics and should be acknowledged for them! Eye- opener podcast!

    life-changing podcast
I am so grateful for you and your courage to not only say what we are unable to say to help people live their pure potential. I've listened to several of your podcast, and I am planning to do a deep dive into the resources and workbooks. I love to meditate, and I think this will be a practice I can do every day to reach my A goal.

    What an incredible resource!
I am on Episode 91 now (started with the first) and I can’t tell you how much this has helped me not only with my relationship with alcohol, but eating, shopping etc. As a trauma survivor, I had struggled with numbing my feelings and intrusive thoughts. Rachel’s approach has been the more helpful than some therapists. I feel very empowered by her approach and I so appreciate this resource.

    Very Helpful!
I started listening to this podcast a few months ago, and between this and Rachel’s book, “Why Can’t I Drink Like Everyone Else?” I’ve learned some important things about my drinking. Rachel neutralizes alcohol and allows you to examine your drinking habits without shame. If you don’t like how much you drink, but don’t think you need AA, this podcast and Rachel’s book are a great place to start.

    Glad to find this Podcast!
Promise after promise saying either not to drink or not drink too much. Then, being angry at myself failing to adhere to that promise to my self and spouse. Need something to be successful, not short term, but life changing! Flipping through the topics may be the answer. ~ Thanks ~

    AA Didn’t Work for Me

    Life changing skills
I am so impressed, and pleasantly surprised, about the Think Feel Act way to stop drinking or any behavior that creates an unwanted result in your life. I love her podcasts! I listen in the car and just for educational purposes when i have free time. I've encouraged many people to listen, however, one must have a desire to change something in their lives that's not going well. It's not easy to change, nor do you have too. It's only been 3 months but I feel so empowered by my understanding of my behaviors and the tools and knowledge to help them or just be with my uncomfortable feelings. Thank you Rachel!

    Amazing info!
I’ve only been listening to his podcast for a couple of weeks but I’m already seeing the benefits of Rachel’s approach. I’m not trying to cut out alcohol completely but want to refrain from drinking to soothe my stress or overdoing it to “have fun”. The latter never ends well. I was traveling for a work conference and typically that means I’m drinking the free booze on the plane, at conference receptions and at meals. However, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have a strong urge to drink and still had a great time at the conference. I want to continue down this path and leverage the learnings to make my desire to drink wane even more. I’m excited about what’s to come!
