Gace531Goodbye Alex RI know it’s a serious podcast and all but Alex Rees has such a sexy voice when he reads the closing credits…! Thank you and good luck with your next adventure. (Love the rest of you as well).

Urbanite76My go-to for newsI LOVE Oh God, What Now? The world is so DARK right now, so sometimes I have trouble getting up the *will* to face the news. I love this pod because it’s a fresh take that acts as a “spoon full of sugar” as I keep up-to-date of what’s going on in the world. That’s why it’s my go-to for news, never miss an episode!

NaomieMomWowIn the first minutes of this week’s episode, I was shocked by Alex Andreou’s analysis of the stance to take on Israel’s bombings. So calculating, and not a second spent considering the humanity of the civilians being bombarded. While we are “nudging” Netanyahu towards the right direction, people are dying, thousands of them.

madeiramadamTroll Farms in Ohio?I’m listening to the back catalog to get Brexit history. The November 10, 2017 episode talks disinformation, bots, and troll farms. Then mentions a troll farm in Ohio. Huh? Maybe it was a joke but no one laughed. I wish I could post a photo but go ahead and look up trolls in Dayton Ohio. Otherwise….great show.

MukkuroniFunny butWhile sometimes entertaining and sometimes informative, some of the hosts, no doubt patting themselves on the back for how liberal they are, come close to racism when attacking Sunak. “We like people of color, but only our people of color, who know their place and are not rich, well-educated jumped up prime ministers”.

PC in DCIn top formNot since the best days of John Stewart’s The Daily Show has being depressed about politics been so much fun.

RoboberkI love this podcastAmerican here! I’ve been listening since the days it was Remainiacs and have become a Patreon back for the show. Such smart analysis - I learn something every time I listen - while also being absolutely hilarious. I also wish Ian Dunt was my best friend - his laugh is contagious.

fa247maMagnificentGeniuses for making the sad state of affairs in the UK sound entertaining. Can be a bit of an echo chamber if your politics lean to the right, nevertheless their chain of thought is fairly objective. You don’t have to agree with everything they say to enjoy it. I wish Ian Dunt was my friend.

Reivin StevenIan *untHis voice is horrible. His laugh is horrible. His opinions are horrible. His face is horrible. No surprise at all the hear how much he loves the MCU. For someone who gets paid way to much money to sit in central London twiddling about on a keyboard and blurting out tweets he has a very high opinion of himself. He’s a really good example of why so many people hate London. Self-regarding do-nothing but somehow rich anyway while he sneers at anyone who isn’t that type of person. He’s honestly perfect for this podcast. I don’t like the Tories either but it’s really unclear what anyone on this circlejerk podcast wants to do about it. Drivel.

LouwahLove love loveI left Britain a few years ago but will never stop listening to this crew. Making the sad state of politics today seem funny is not easy but they do it with style.

DaveyWavey-9666EchoIf you ever wondered what it is like in a centrist bubble this is the show for you. Each week a group of failed journalists and lobbyists gather to prop each other up in tell each other that they were right and it’s everyone else who was wrong

Jwd51From SeattleThis is my favorite indispensable podcast that has helped understand more about British politics. The panelists are terrific and you guys make me LAUGH, which means you are a signal bright spot in the year of infamy 2020. Lastly, to hear your take on American politics and the clowns who run things here is so comforting. So happy new year! I’ll still be listening in 2021.

GabbyChartleyLove, love, love this show.I’m from California, so this is my weekly UK politics fix. The cast members are just marvelous; they make you feel like you’re part of the European friendship club too. I *so* wish I could be BFFs with Alex Andreou!

Original SharkeyVoice of SanityRemainiacs is one of the few voices of sanity among a braying mass of stupidity and mendacity. As the monumental stupidity of Brexit unfolds, this podcast reminds me that the UK still harbours smart, witty and warm-hearted citizens who are dedicated to promoting European values.

BettdocsCommiserating with you from the StatesAs an American looking for a break from the horror of my own country’s political landscape- I found this podcast smart and humorous at times while giving serious consideration to a variety of Brexit topics. I’m going back to listen from the beginning in 2017 and must say I’m quite envious of the E.U. custom union with freedom of movement and labor. Hope you can remain almost as much as I hope the US can do better in the 2020 presidential election.

mrespianPoor language skillsI expect journalists to have enough command of adverbs and adjectives to express their thoughts without resorting to a stream of four letter words.
-
Risasi MagzThoughtfully done!I appreciate the humor to otherwise sad news
-
Mark 75422357899Not informativeThey don’t actually explain what is happening with Brexit, they mostly give commentary on it. Sounds like an echo chamber.

SM@LALike chatting with your mates... but who know stuffI love this podcast. Remainiacs has not only given me more in-depth information than other sources (news, print etc) but they truly understand and voice the emotional turmoil of watching what is happening in the U.K. Remainiacs knowledge and emotion makes me feel amongst friends...and that’s much needed in these times. Fingers crossed for a people’s vote!

-
Gorman the LibrarianIntelligent & informativeThis is entertaining and informative and brilliant at exposing the hollowness and chicanery of the people pushing the UK leaving the EU. If the UK is saved from the Brexit catastrophe, this podcast will have played an important role.
-
UKNickEU foreverA relief to find a podcast that understands Brexit is the worst political decision of the last fifty years and is suitably angry about it
