Acountability and vulnerability create empowered masculinity. Misogyny runs so deep from our personal and cultural programming. I was glad to hear Carlos acknowledge his own. We all need to acknowledge our own outdated beliefs to change. Carlos is seriously an amazing human being. He gives me hope.

It’s easy to look around and get very concerned or anxious and in that time Carlos provides a needed voice. Listen learn and enjoy!

Please help me to understand why at an Black awards show or event Will’s behavior would be acceptable? This kind of violence should not be tolerated anywhere at anytime no matter your gender, race or social status. I’m so confused as to why the women thought it would have been a “better” place for it to happen in an all black social gathering than at the Oscar’s.

I stumbled across this podcast around the time about the time Carlos interviewed Leeann Miller about her Amish love story. I love the balance of deep important topics with talking about fun and every day life topics. I love the perspective it brings to current events while talking about the joy of the life and opportunities before us.

I’ve been listening to the Human Hope podcast since it released, and I love it! Carlos is so authentic, and I love his determination to bring hope into this world. We all need some hope!!
