    Gross
Could not continue listening to that rude pig grunting snorting sniffling and coughing whilst others are speaking. I think he thinks it’s cool like he’d mentioned a while back (he noted that a radio personality would do years ago-and started doing it)—- You’re disgusting. And mini ook review—nope-Mike is there to stay as he destroyed (and got kicked off) Woody Overton’s #1 award winning podcast….. (and he has to babysit to actually get AJ to do a “free show” occasionally)

    Dummies
What kind of nitwit raises the cost of their podcast 1.25? I know AJ is beyond dense and mentally stuck in Jr High. But Mike, his “producer”? Complete fool conman. He has completely destroyed what was left of AJ’s podcast with his advice. BTW did both of you idiots forget AJ already had tiers? They have been listed on his Patreon since it began! AJ is too high/drunk to notice. And again, Agavino failed miserably.

    Chauvinist Pig
I am far from being a feminist but the way AJ talks about women is disgusting. In one episode he’s talking about a famous celebrity not being able to climax, breast augmentation, and labia surgery. Between all these he’s talking about his past sexual exploits. His daughter must be so proud. Ugh!

I don’t understand the negative reviews. Benza is a lifestyle genius. Since listening to AJ ,I have never paid for water at the airport, never paid for spices at the supermarket, and taught my dogs how to steal at the pet store. AJ is a beacon of hope for those with a similar low IQ on how to get over in the world. I’m waiting for AJ to detail how he scams the self-checkout machines. His tips on scamming are well worth the $5 a month for Patreon. Keep up the good work AJ.

    More or Les
Another Patreon subscriber who dared to point out AJ’s deficiencies is goaded out the door. Whether it’s his lame excuses for not posting a podcast on time, or professing his excellent work ethic, he spends a whole podcast admonishing a Patreon subscriber. Then he calls on his “Fam” to admonish anyone who points out the truth. Meanwhile back at the storage unit Lol…..

Loved AJ. But the Mike guy is horrible. I’ll try to listen again. Hoping it’s just AJ.

    Come Together!
Longtime listener here! I don’t think I’ve ever said, “that’s right” while listening to a podcast! You want the actual truth? You want real reporting? AJ is thee guy! Hope you stay healthy and keep thriving on your pods man! Respect to you!

    Garbage
The only thing funny about the show or the comical reviews! And the good reviews are all fake!

Long time follower first time rater. I may not agree with all of your views, but I’ve always listened.

    Not about Gossip anymore
All it is are stories about AJ & the home wrecker. No matter how much you talk her up she’s still nothing but a putana. You don’t have enough star power to make her or any of your childhood friends somebodies.

    Agovino improved this podcast
After several years, I got bored listening to AJ and I stopped subscribing to his Patreon, too. The addition of Mike Agovino makes it infinitely more interesting now. He adds much-needed professionalism and balances and channels AJ’s rants and ramblings.

    Never Fails
Love just about every Episode even if I don’t always agree. And Patreon is always great too! AJ has the gift of storytelling that I admire & enjoy listening too.

    Different show now. Eh.
Used to be an epic show, but eventually everyone will run out of funny stories. I enjoy his politics, but now all he does is reminisce & (literally) cry. It’s depressing. They have mental health online now, pretty sure. Now the show is just AJ talking to his Lib producer buddy from HS for a 2x dose of 🥱once a week.

Always an excuse for not putting out an episode 😡😠

    No
No thank you to this new format. Makes you long for the days of copious weeping, demands to listeners, & less than sober shows. Nothing I hate more than listening to two dudes talk about nothing.

    Emasculated
How embarrassing! The adults had to jump in to keep AJ on track and try to save this dying podcast.its even worse. At least the drunken ramblings were interesting in a pathetic way.

    What a waste
He resorted to bringing in the podcast producer to salvage this wreck. It’s like two idiots in a canoe desperately trying to bail out the water flooding their last hope

To know him is to love him
Tells it like it is. Old NY, old Hollywood stories with relevant celebrity stories and some personal life and politics sprinkled in. He’s done it all, seen it all and says it all. AJ is like a family member that you just never get tired of hearing from. No I'm not Italian, not from NY but the guy will always be a favorite of mine.
  • GUADANISTA
    Seriously?
Had to unsubscribe due to: I can't take the drunk slurring blabbering anymore. He's obese, disgusting, and lost his teeth. So, he spits everywhere while drunk berating CHILDREN. Yes - you heard that right folks. He mocks the appearance of celebrity children b/c he's so bitter. Today's show? Ripped Anna Nicole's Smith daugther apart. Meanwhile, this fat drunk fool has no teeth, bailed on his family who are now pretty much homeless, and did I mention he's a drunk toothless angry spitter? I won't stoop to his level about making fun of a certain kid's looks....I won't. It's cruel. Hey AJ - I know you read these reviews. Look in the mirror and go to a dentist.

    Loser Deluxe
What’s better. Stealing thousands of dollars over a lifetime in truffles, spices and who knows what from stores or doing it all at once. So guilty of being a thief, he can’t see straight.
  • time waits for noone
    Sounding great AJ.
Congratulations and thank you! I flew the coop to Patreon, So great you are back on top again, life gives us a rough ride, love your content, what you bring and what you give to us, the listeners.

    Wow! JAN 19th Slurfest
I stopped listening a while back, for many reasons. Gave it a try again cuz I heard he ‘got sober’…couldn’t have lasted too long because between the 2-3 second drink breaks, and the escalation of slurring, this was very uncomfortable to listen to. This should come with a trigger warning to newly sober people. Do NOT allow this guy to say he is in recovery. This is not only hurting him, while I feel he's a lost cause, but dangerous to those trying to clean up! Someone who truly cares for him needs to do a full intervention.

    Nursery rhymes
Whoa!!! AJ tears the roof off of the nursery rhyme racket! A scathing expose of the sordid truth!! What a journalist!!
  • scottwired
    Hit or miss
The “gossip” on this show is usually found everywhere and sooner, better sourced and more detailed. What you don’t get elsewhere is Benza’s unique hateful/jealous spin, most often delivered from his fleabag motel room. This show is most compelling when he’s spiraling in his personal life. More of that please.
  • pammie8
    Druggie
First off they are erasing bad reviews like crazy and he has his sicko fans writing fake reviews constantly. We see you PW, the least you could do is change up the reviews. There is not one thing “amazeballs” about this show and there hasn’t been in years!! He’s constantly drugged or drunk and crying over his old life which he destroyed. He’s now making up stories about Winona Ryder, Mariah Carey, and Aaliyah. No Jason Momoa didn’t want to meet your old raggedy cocktail waitress gf, nobody with 1/2 a brain believes that. His poor kids and ex wife. Shame on Joey and Agavino for letting this man spiral into the abyss for the sake of earning a few dollars. Go to rehab!!!!! Why would anyone waste $5 on patreon when you get it for free now. Freebird for life

    Club random
Hey AJ. Where is that episode of you on club random? You even said you went on Maher’s podcast, but magically it never aired. Clean up dude.
  • patsy06
    Stop berating
I subscribed to the basic Patreon to be nice but I’m so sick of the berating and whining on the “free” show I will unsubscribe again if he doesn’t cut the crap.
  • loho jr
    This is a first
No podcaster in this world craps on their audience like AJ does. He installed bird chirping background audio to troll his fans who don’t pay for his weak patreon. Who is giving him this kind of sabotage advice??? It’s beyond cringe and he truly lost a fan. Bye bye AJ

Like listening to a Family member
I am so happy to once again have my Sunday mornings listening to AJ. I work during the week and work some Sundays. On Sundays I cook breakfast for family. I put in my AirPods and start cooking breakfast while everyone is sleeping. If it’s Sunday that my brother has left early then i listen to AJ on a Bluetooth speaker. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting AJ there’s something about his voice that makes me feel that I am talking to family. He reminds me a lot of my older brother and uncle, who grew up in New York during the same time AJ dead so he has the same point of you as them. If I have plans early Sunday, I can’t wait until the evening to unwind and listen to AJ for some reason Sundays is for AJ. He is Honest and a great person to listen too. You will find yourself saying “No!” talks some more even if he said something you don’t agree with. I mean do you and your family always see eye to eye on all topics? Have a listen and you will see. AJ will become your new friend in head and you will find yourself saying “ooh I wonder what AJ is going to say about this” or you will even say to yourself “I know what AJ is going to say after seeing this photo/video etc.”

    A.J.-The Best Commentary and Stories💯💯💯
A.J.! Makes me laugh, reminds me of why I love Hollywood. There is no one who is more relatable than A.J., he is THE Everyman, with a immense gift, the best mashup. Excellent writer, gifted observer of culture, politics, family….every episode is like sitting with a friend and loving every minute of the visit.

    Who is advising AJ?
You cannot build a paying audience without a core audience. If anything, AJ should release a public podcast on a specific day each week and stick to it. And most importantly, the public podcast should be top-notch: streamlined, focused, informative and engaging. THAT is how you build an audience and leave them wanting more. I do not understand his strategy(?) of going weeks without episodes, only to release a mediocre episode with stale gossip and sad personal stories of living in a desert motel. And if that wasn’t bad enough, he spends 5 minutes berating the listeners —who actually ARE tuning in—for not being Patreon members. Not the way to win friends and influence people, AJ! I’m rooting for you, man, but you gotta wise up and get out of your own way. Case in point: The “Club Random” non-guest appearance broke my heart. You talked a big game and squandered a huge opportunity for your brand by not delivering. Instead you got too high and Bill graciously spared you the embarrassment of releasing the episode. Stop the self-sabotage.
  • its worse than before
What an ingrate. Didn’t you build your base here?
Considering AJ’s Patreon subscribers have fallen into the 800s, you’d think he’d make sure he kept up with the “free show” since that’s the only way anyone listens to him. His paid subs have dropped steadily and are half of what they used to be, no doubt due to no new gossip and his sordid private life which is embarrassing. If you don’t have the gossip goods and sources any more, just be honest and admit it. Why would anyone pay for nothing?

    Liberal Me Too craziness
Love to hear the other side of this? Just like That is the worst! They ruined Sex in the City with this nonsense🤨 I love the Italian saying at the end🤩

This thing is dead,I’m just here to read the reviews they are better than the show.

    Train wreck
Probably the most UN professional podcast out there. He’s always coughing and sounds hungover. He broadcasts in his bathroom with his annoying dog who is constantly barking, equipment failing, and I swear he passes gas, after all he’s in the bathroom.

    Enjoy
I enjoy these podcasts . I listen when I can If there was an annual membership I would join As a practice to manage subscriptions I only do annual subscriptions that are not automatically renewed… But AJ is always entertaining Good Luck

    Quit your whining
Wow did you forget that is was your free episodes listeners that made you popular that you start your patreon. It’s like being kicked to the curb. Glad I no longer subscribe to your patreon. Nothing like downgrading the free listener.

Not sure what’s going on with this podcast
Foxx’s condition was reported a week ago as a brain bleed. A week later AJ has no idea? Read the news I guess.

Good show, but too many re-posts
Like the show, but why are almost all the episodes just re-posts from last year?
  • dk11h
    Awesome
Always awesome to hear AJ tell tales about old Hollywood and his life experiences. I’m a Patreon member and also enjoy listing to the free shows. Your missing out just listening to the free shows. Come on over to Patreon only $5 a month.

    What a mess
All over the place, only talks about his old HS memories that mean nothing to the ever shrinking audience. Why is he constantly getting in arguments with women just doing their jobs?
  • Sunburst Finish
    Gifted story teller!
Highly recommend this podcast!! Stories are captivating and will stay with you long after the podcast. I find when AJ is going through a story of a particular time in his life in the way he explains puts my mind in a wonderment like watching a movie in my head. It takes a certain person to be able hold your attention from the start of the podcast till the very end and you end up wanting more.

Time to back to Best Buy
Like many reviewers I was a Patreon member, but AJ’s podcast is no longer enjoyable. If you make a negative but true comment, AJ will block you, send harassing messages and tell you to get off Patreon. He is clearly on a downward spiral and is just digging himself deeper. Too bad he dumped his wife and family for “the girlfriend.” I honestly hope he gets the help he needs.
  • dave5122288
    I started off as a huge fan…..
I loved mysteries and scandals and when I heard he had a podcast I was a daily listener. It was great! Now though I more listen to the spiraling of a old sad man. It’s almost more interesting looking at it that way!! LOL!!!!
