Glosesaywhere’s season 2how y’all gonna leave us high and dry i need my fix of fruit.
-
DioneagainReally good! No, seriously.I started Season 1 here, and ended Season 2 on Stitcher. This was a fantastic story - Written well, acted wonderfully, crafted nicely. It was thought-provoking and fresh. My only regret is that I found it years after it came out. We need more quality, diverse stories like this - Seriously!
-

Mari804Just a TeaseFruit season 1 was addicting!!!! Legit was listening every day on my commute. BUT WHY IS SEASON 2 MISSING?! I couldn’t find it anywhere. This podcast is a waste of time if you don’t want to be left hanging. Season 2 ghosted me.

ImAFann💯💯💯💯There needs to be more episodes!!!! I got questions that need answers!

lovesartThis.Well acted, well produced and written, and leaves me curious to hear the next one even though it's not in the suspense genre. I don't listen to many fiction podcasts over audiobooks especially, drama/relationship oriented ones, but this one finally got me and I'll be watching the team for other projects. I think most fiction podcasts need to reign in the sound effects, and this one occasionally becomes noticeable, but the quality is good enough that I think it's a matter of personal taste as opposed to being badly done.

E. HunterI'm so into thisI highly recommend this podcast! The story just pulls you in, and you definitely will like the characters in the story. At least for me I am rooting for the main character,X. It is totally worth getting the Sticher Premium app to listen to season 2. I am not paid to say that either. Use the shows promo code: X and I got a free trial and a small discount. I'm a little late discovering this podcast but so glad that I did. Once again I'm not a paid promoter, I just have mad love for this show.

Billie1979Sound effects not necessaryIssa Issa Issa... Gurl I love you. Everyone says I remind them of you but it’s really the other way around because I’m positive I’m older. 😉😂 Although I do agree... anyway, this podcast is great but I think we can ALL do without the “squishy” sound effects. It sounds gross and now I need a shower. 🤢

-
ArrogantMonstaBlack Gay ExcellenceI just love this, the masculine feel of it and authenticity of this podcast. Taking a view from a DL Black football player prospective on gay life. 5 stars this needs to come to a big screen I would love to see it play out before my eyes!
-
Ōkami_Déjà VuFirst, let me say, I'm glad that a podcast with Black gay characters exist. It is important for a plethora of reasons. That being said, this podcast feels old and familiar, not fresh and groundbreaking. I remember being an undergrad in the early 90s. E. Lynn Harris and James Earl Hardy helped introduce the world to narratives of Black gay men, while giving voice to common experiences and complex of their lives. Fruit is reminiscent of E. Lynn and James' work. I enjoyed listening to the podcast, but it kind of felt like listening to rehashed early 90s Black gay fiction.

-
Meka727Love this podcast. Where’s season 2???Need season 2
-
NyrobiJFruit🤪I like the podcast BUT all the characters sound as if they are reading from paper.....that’s the only thing keeping it from bright a top notch podcast
-
Shari pinkFruitInteresting storyline. Reminds me of E. Lynn Harris’ writing style and details.
-
a.e. delaneyExcellent PickIssa and her team does it again. Storytelling at its best, this podcast explored black, male sexuality. The characters are complex and well thought out. “Fruit” offers a piece of the puzzle missing in the black community since Noah’s Arc. Giving, yet again, representation to people in media not normally seen and an opportunity to writers not normally heard. Kudos!
-
JxxyxoRefreshing & ModernI'm late to this but wow. I enjoyed every second to this podcast and hope to hear more.

-
Meeche80New to meI have never been the one to write reviews on podcasts but this podcast seems like it pulls you from here to there. To and fro, up and down like a roller coaster. My feelings and emotions are pulled into the struggle of someone going through something they thought they needed to explore and suppress all at the same time. In all that it seems like he is playing games with his feelings of confusion. Great job of sucking me in. Definitely recommended.
