I am so happy I discovered Catherine’s podcast! I happened to find it because I am a working mom with a full time family branding photography business and I loved her episode where she had a panel of other working moms who are also juggling running successful businesses. It was incredibly encouraging to listen to, and it was a great reminder that I am not alone in my business journey (there are other moms out there too who are in the same boat as me!) Thank you Catherine!

I've really taken alot away from this podcast. There is alot of tangible advice and motivation that failures are just getting you closer to a better success. Catherine conducts the interviews flawlessly, love her questions and conversations with her guests.

This has got to be one of the most enjoyable ways to learn about running a small business. Although geared toward photographers, there are so many other aspects that are covered in the interviews that are conducted. I have learned so much and been so inspired by every one of these episodes, whether in my field of family photography or not. Give it a listen; you won’t be disappointed!

I live pretty far from where most of my work is and always find I have a long commute. I’m always looking for helpful and informative podcasts during my drive and this is by far the best one I’ve found. I love that the info shared is real and I actually walk away feeling like I learned something useful instead of the usual “inspirational” go around content that doesn’t actually have a whole Lot of practical application value. I just want to start off by saying that I'm not much of a podcast listener until I listened to my first Mistakes Make Magic Podcast. I am totally in love with this podcast for 3 reasons. 1. IT IS VERY INSPIRING. I find myself going to the podcast on long trips and even while getting work done. I'm also an avid music listener; so for me to replace my music with something else is huge. Every episode of the podcast challenges me to take another step in my business for the better. I'm so pumped to implement some of the things talked about in the podcast. 2. THE TOPICS AND GUESTS. I love that Catherine covers topics I, as a business owner, love to hear and talk about. It isn't the typical stuff that focuses on just the guest. It's always something that helps me to grow in many ways. I also love the guests that she has on the show. It's a wide varity people that lead and excel in their industry. It's so refreshing to hear them speak about their journey and give tips to others. More often than not I think we are intimidated by their excellent work and we immediately get to thinking that they are not human or something. So it's refreshing to hear that they are normal just like you and me and that these people made mistakes as well. 3. MISTAKES REALLY DOES MAKE MAGIC. I admire that Catherine encourages every business owner to embrace their mistakes and learn from them. Continueing from my previous point, it's encouraging to hear that other professionals do make mistakes. When I see a successful business I hardly see the mistakes and trials it take to get where they are. Mistakes Make Magic podcast reassures me that no one is perfect and I love that. I now understand that mistakes are really what makes us better. Sorry it was so long yall but I'm just so inspired, encouraged and passionate about this podcast!
