This is one of the best tabletop podcasts out there. Space Kings is a great system, props to the masters!

So glad Pretend Friends is back. Kevin and the gang never cease to disappoint and bring a smile to even the most jaded of faces. Space Kings is a brilliantly fun system and frankly the world needs more happy sci-fi in it. You’ve all flipped the Queen of Hearts as far as this nerd is concerned.

My personal favorite podcast, but I have terrible taste. So you should probably listen to it for yourself. Season 4 is meh.

Seriously. If you’re a fan of NADDPOD, Join the Party, Adventure Zone, any of those shows, I hope you’ll give Pretend Friends a try. Before I was a NADDPOD patreon these boys were my religion. Now there’s a season 4 coming out. Space Kings is an amazing RPG system based on your regular casino 52 card deck, some hilarious skills, and a lot of DM improv.

Nick, Paul, and Josh are always hilarious : Kevin really adds to the experience with creative and absurd storytelling that makes everything focused on having a good time. Can’t imagine a better group

The first season is 5 stars through and through. Paul, Nick and Josh have great chemistry and a history of hilarious collaborative works that honestly deserve to be way more successful than they are. Kevin is a Chris Perkins level GM. Great storyteller, but don't try to joke around with him on twitter, or he'll block you. It's gets shaken up after that, bringing in a new inexperienced GM. And it's a mess. They start paying less attention to the game and more attention to sexualizing their characters, as well as admonishing each other for pronouns. On at least one occasion someone screams "We're the white people; we're the bad guys" and it's not a joke; it's a statement. Definitely recommend season 1. They really lose whatever magic they had after that.

Love the show and it always leaves me laughing like a fool in my car!

On the one hand I wish I had started this earlier to get all this fantastic content but on the other, it’s absolutely perfect for this quarantine. It totally takes my mind off of what’s happening. It really puts me at ease. An absolute must listen

This an amazing show. I get a chill whenever I hear the opening theme and I know I am about to have a good hour ahead of me.

I am totally up for several more seasons of small-statured, alcohol-fuelled, dangerous-to-those-around-them characters created by Josh. And I can't express how much I love this show. I've relistened to everything at least twice, and someone needs to go slay this virus so the gang can continue playing (I mean... it would be good to slay the virus for other reasons too... I guess). Keep on wizarding, y'all.

All three seasons of this show are a giggle and a gaff! The game is unique and easy to follow, and the banter is a delight!

As a long time Continue? fan, I have very much enjoyed this podcast. The crew, Paul, Nick, and Josh, a-long with Kevin (DM) are all really dedicated and having fun as they record and play. The Space Kings system is very easy to follow along, and the story and everyones reactions and chating is great to hear, and I definetly laugh quite a bit. Honestly every Thursday night is laundry night and pretend friends time, keep up the great work!

Great from the very first episode. These guys have been making funny stuff for more then a decade, and they remain one of my favorite parts of the week. That being said, the last two Continue podcasts I left reviews for got canceled, so I hope I don’t kill this one too.

Funny people creating great stories

If you like the Continue Crew, light RP podcasts, or just fantasy podcasts in general then this is worth a shot. Kevin is a great DM and gently guides the guys along their adventure, lots of tangents, off the wall reactions and really fun character building moments. One of my favorite podcasts.

Been following the Continue? guys for a decade and I’ve loved all their content! Adding Kevin and Hadley to to mix has been wonderful, and the stories/characters they’ve been creating are great!

Season 1 is INCREDIBLE. Funny, loose & a joy to listen to. You’ll wish it never ended! Season 2 is...er... Well, wasn’t Season 1 great? You’ll wish Season 2 would JUST END. Hadley is a very “rails” kinda GM and while Kevin ran WITH the guys in S1, Hadley mostly seems to run DESPITE them. She seems humorless more often than not and like she’d rather just be narrating her own story with the guys reading the scripts she wrote for them. Maybe they should have gotten Elspeth to run instead? Season 3 seems like it won’t happen at this point. At least we’ll always have Season 1!

Paul, Dom, and Chad are quite the characters when it comes to critiquing the books of many of our childhoods. While some installments of Goosebumps are complete stinkers, the hosts make quick work in breaking these books down for consumable content great for a car ride or weekend day off work. Keeping up with the many projects of these creators has always led me to funny moments over the years and has me looking forward to further supporting their endeavors. Much love from a long time fan and here’s to many more years of laughter!

I adore this show, Iv listened to every episode atleast 2-3 times during my tedious job unloading trucks and stocking shelves. The friends are entertaining and have a great time roleplaying and challenge the DM to improvise on the fly while they harass npc, burn down buildings, and accidentally hold up a store while asking for directions.

I love listening to this podcast on my walks around the neighborhood. I'm sure I look like a lunatic walking my 10 month old and cracking the heck up. So fun guys! Love it!

I watched Continue? for years and had no clue they started a Tabletop RPG podcast. And I'm so glad I found out about it! As long as there are still episodes, I'll keep listening!

An absolutely amazing podcast that’s as hilarious as it is engaging. You’ll quickly get sucked in and come to love the characters as you laugh along with a great gang of guys (and a gal!). There’s also a mop!

Been listening to these guys ever since Fantasy Fiction and I have never laughed as hard to anything else. The chemistry between the people is wondrous and the DM is really flexible. The guests bring in another brand of flavor and the main cast is always great. Always the first thing I listen to when I am feeling down.

If you like a bunch of people being funny as hell and pretending to be sci/fantasy creatures this is the show for you!

Look forward to the show every week. Never played one of these games, but can see the appeal when entertaining people are involved.

Pretend Friends is an absolute riot where Nick, Paul, Josh, and Kevin role-play through a great number of (mis)adventures and comedic hi-jinks. Whether it's seducing a stay-at-home wife, befriending a screaming bug who cries out for mother, commendeering prison buses, learning that mop is the king, or accidentally cutting off an associate's arms, Pretend Friends is completely engrossing and an absolute hoot and a half. Maybe if they get another season it will be two hoots. GO LISTEN TO IT NOW! Also, I wouldn't exactly call this "CLEAN LYRICS" so viewer be ware.

A great time for fans of Continue?! or just for anyone who enjoys a group of guys improving their way through increasingly humorous scenarios. Podcasts focusing on role playing games are becoming more and more common these days, but this one is still worth your time. These boys know what it takes to produce quality listening content, that is both engaging and hilarious. Just remember who the real king is.

The stories told on this podcast are absolutely fantastic! It constantly has me in space stitches. The characters that the players have created are fantastic and so well developed by the random twists and turns. I would pay good money for Jasper Cheesehound to be in every bit of media that I consume! I can't wait to play Space Kings with all my friends! Thanks Pretend Friends!
