I have been listening to the Wet Fly Swing for a long time and judge that it is consistently the best fly fishing podcast. I learn something new every podcast. All of the guests are worthy of your attention. I am a better more rounded fisherman since I have been listening. Thanks Dave for keeping the quality and diverse subjects. Dave covers a wide range of fly fishing topics, always in depth, always in an engaging interviewing style and having fun. I wish I had more time to listen to more of these, because I would for sure do so, learn more, build my FF skills and knowledge base and no doubt get inspired to try new things- tie new patterns, refine my casting, fish new species, areas or with new techniques. This is a Great podcast for anyone who is even interested in the sport off Fly fishing. Great guests and useful information that can really help not only on the water but in preparation for your outing. Dave does a really good job with meaningful questions and let’s the guests tell the story.

This Podcast just keeps getting better and better - From Swinging flies to Stillwater and everything else fly fishing! I enjoy hearing these during my commute for work and especially to the river. I listened to Dave’s podcasts almost anytime I’m driving anywhere. Been listing to the show for almost a year straight and Dave by far has the best interviews out there. Highly, Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys fly fishing.

Entertainment AND information

I spend a fair bit of time looking for podcasts to learn more about different new fisheries and techniques and I always come back to WFS. No other podcast has the quality of guests and depth of content, with hundreds of episodes you’ll almost certainly find something to fit your niche. You may have to sift through some episodes that are like lodge advertisements but it’s worth the effort when you find the info you need to improve your fishing skills

Being an avid fly fisher woman and love the diversity of fly fishing for many species, I find Wet Fly Swing Podcast covers it all! From local legends to far away places, this podcast is valuable to me planning trips, catching different species and listening to some VERY interesting and informative fellow fly fishers. An improvement over early days

I listed to an earlier episode when Dave interviewed the host of the New Flyfisher. It was extremely irritating on the number of times Dave interrupted the guest mid sentence. There’s much less of that today but hopefully Dave reads this and is mindful of that.

I think this is the most well produced podcast about fly fishing. Dave is a great interviewer - and such excellent guests! Like #290 with the great Harry Murray! I have really enjoyed listening to past episodes.

Teaching an old dog new tricks

I started tying flies when I was 9 and learned how to fish them when I was 10. Dave brings great information and personalities to my commutes that used to take days for me to digest through magazines and books 40 years ago. I love all of the crafters of boats, nets and rods he includes on the podcast. Keep up the great work Dave.
