    Used to be good
I used to listen because I thought it was somewhat balanced and informational. Now the language used on the show is juvenile and should be embarrassing for professional journalists.

    America
Hello, Please note that ‘America’ covers North and South America: two separate continents. The below is incorrect and exclusive of the seemingly intent of your story regarding territories, continents, etc. “Donald Trump says he wants Greenland for America.” Thank you,

    Back In (Executive) Action
It seems to myself, in my own opinion, that if he initially denied being apart or involved in the J6 riot on our nations capital, yet has contradictably pardon a said 1500 convicted persons thus involved, than in his final service of this term he should immediately be sent to a jury for his conviction of a felony for that invasion of illegal breaking and entry and assault and murder of defending officials, not to mention the life threatening motions to members of the house and senate and or all other political officials involve. - s.jxn - ga

Har, har, Giggle Giggle Bye Bye Democracy
Insufferable opening. Content far darker than tone- who’s the intended audience here? and why so dumbed down?

    Propaganda (Facebook episode)
Discussing transgender and immigrate issues in our country is not hate speech. We should be allowed to have those conversation. This podcast is literally promoting breaking the constitution and is straight propaganda. Omg Facebook is allowed to talk about Trump and conservatives values ooohhhh so scary.

    A bit of cringe
Good content most days and presented well. However, a lot of guests voices are unbearable to listen to. Just talk in your natural voice the vocal-fry-about-to-run out of breath-somewhere between Ben Stein and valley girl or weird nasaly half sleep voices are irritating. Stop trying to sound weird because you think it makes people more attention, it doesn’t.

    Love episodes
I get so much information from your episodes. I really love how you present the daily grind. You’re doing that show about grandparents…Let me tell you, you wanna talk to me about it!

    Does Altadena not exist?
I didn’t hear Sean say Altadena once in the episode about the LA fires. As an Angeleno, I am greatly disappointed that this episode only focuses on the Palisades.

    Politically toothless
Informative and insightful on some cultural topics but their shamelessly toothless reporting on both political parties shows just why no one listens to legacy media. A half hour on Biden’s legacy and not one mention of the billions and billions he spent on foreign wars while the country fell apart at the seams. Useless.

    Great podcast
I just listened to the episode MAGA meltdown. It was pretty informative. Keep up the good work on presenting the facts of the MAGA cult leaders and their clowns . People need to know the truth about the destruction that Trump and his minions are going to do to our country. Oh and I love the ACLU. commercials. Keep up the good work!!!

    Great BUT
Guys, who approved the weird whistle sound effect?! Please stop. It’s creepy and really. Really. Annoying. I hate it. I hate it so much. Otherwise good job, lol.

    Andrea Kristinsdottir
Until today, I had understood that the episodes were engineered by Andrea Kristin’s daughter, which I found to be a puzzling but you know, hey, the probably just love their mom so much.🤷🏾

    Highly recommended
It’s an amazing podcast. It offers nuanced, engaging, and in depth looks into news stories often left out of the front headlines. I enjoy how it examines stories from multiple perspectives, staying analytical and pragmatic. I always look forward to listening.

    Trad wife takeover
You lost me as a listener during the birth control discussion in this episode. Yes, the trad wife movement leans conservative, and yes, it is well known the right has historically been anti contraceptives. But going so far as to position the BC pill as totally safe in this episode, or rather imply that criticism about the health effects of the pill are outlandish is just bad journalism. It is well studied and understood that estrogens are cancer promoting and tons of women (myself included) have hormonal disruptions, fertility issues and general health issues from long term use. So please, put politics aside and report on facts, not emotions.

    Same message though
Re: assisted suicide, what’s the difference between an implicit vs the explicit message “no one cares” at least enough to do anything helpful 😬

    Evie magazine
Thanks for introducing me to Evie magazine. I just signed up and am gifting subscriptions to my loved ones. Crazy how so many people think women having old school morals and values are bad? What is it hurting?

Normalizing Rights Rollbacks w/o Challenging Guests
Used to like this show. After this most recent election, they’ve made a Quick turn to quiet conservatism or at least complicity in making a rollback of civil sound like a day-to-day affair. It. Is. Not. Y’all really aren’t gonna address that “trad wives” espouse “submitting” to your husband in all ways. Not gonna call into the conversation any ideas that a large swath of people hold in how trad wives basically suggest feminism is radical and being reduced to your child bearing body is a clear form of oppression and getting too close to a Haidmaid’s Tale reality? Nothing at all? Really? Almost exclusively using the Washington Post as source material? Weak sauce. Cowardly. Unsubscribed already. Gonna keep an eye on it, but losing respect by the episode.

    Re: UHC
Can't believe the host and the STAT reporter got through many minutes of discussing Uniterd Health, and emphasising its dominance in the insurance market, without mentioning that ite rate of denying claims is highest of the industry and twice the industry average. Reall failure, and I'll be unsubscribing.
  • Soupycar
    Shooter
Great show! The CEO shooter: Wealthy kids turn 26, don’t want a job in the family company for many reasons, don’t deserve or want to work…Then age out of the parent’s insurance after they’ve been coddled their entire lives, then have to take a look at reality for the first time. Throw in an injury, most likely due to skiing, tennis, pickle ball, riding the Italian country side on a scooter, their lives crumble. So, he was indeed struggling.

    ACLU commercial
Allowing aclu to air such a partisan commercial sets the whole political tone for your podcast and shows your true colors. Hard to get past the accusatory inflammatory ACLU commercial.

    Thankful for Noel and Sean
My favorite podcast! I listen every day on my way home from work and always learn something new. Love the range of topics they cover and I especially enjoyed Noel’s series on capitalism. Keep up the great work!!

My daily dose of news and humor
This podcast perfectly breaks down daily news stories with the context and personality Vox is known for. Shawn and Noel are lovely hosts who ask the questions I wanted to know but was embarrassed to ask and always bring warmth and empathy to their storytelling. Shoutout too to Breakmaster Cylinder for the amazing sound mixing and fun audio easter eggs. This is one of my absolute favorite podcasts!

I’ve been listening to the show since 2016, I love the team and always find myself learning something new. SEAN, love youuuuuu!!!!!!!

    Parental Estrangement
This did not explain why people cut ties for real. Most listeners will now sympathize with estranged parents who have zero intention to change or do any work on themselves. You failed to capture the “Why?” You were looking for.
  • Beggy3
    Informative
Great episodes, when they are not talking politics. Interestingly enough they only “explain” negatively on republicans and not on liberal or democratic issues. Politics aside, great show.

    My favorite news podcast
I love this podcast. So informative. So interesting. Sometimes funny, sometimes thoughtful. Perfect mix. Great hosts and great interviews. I am grateful for sometimes the random episodes about culture and life to distract me from politics.

    Out of touch
Obvious case of deceitful misinformation. Find a few isolated, mentally unhealthy women to advocate for the countries female population is so patronizing and ridiculous. The fact you guys don’t see that is hilarious. Let’s be clear - there will be FAR MORE women and men getting married under this administration. 100% guaranteed.

Pin the tail in the donkey
I really enjoy your show! I will say the episode analyzing why the Democrats lost at the polls was odd… your guest essentially saying that the Democrats have to go more right… that’s wild. Harris lost because she was trying to reach more moderates and, shockingly, they didn’t vote for her. Democrats need to go more left…

    Indispensable part of my day
I love this show. I listen every day. I love that I can learn something new or revealing every time. This is journalism at its best.

    Morning
I don’t like it at all it’s about Donald trump he cheated on the election he was voting for himself he doesn’t want to admit it
  • Nancy Saltadena
    👍👍
Big fan of both Noel and Sean.

    Erasure of Muslims
You did an entire podcast about demographics for the election and didn’t mention Gaza or the Arab/Muslim vote as if it doesn’t matter at all. Is it because Zionists sponsor this podcast or because Indians hate Muslims as much as Americans? Expected more from this podcast.

Insult bloomers when having nothing to say
Explain It To Me! This show was embedded in Today Explained and I do not like it at all. Not only does the host giggle too much, she did not seem to have anything meaningful to say about campaign text messages except sharing her all biased yet dump idea about bloomers “Those bloomers surely like to cross their checks a lot.” Are you kidding me - those are the type of bloomers you know? Who are you hanging out with? You’re be SO surprised that there are so many tech-savvy bloomers.

    Elon Musk
Horrible interview! Why did y’all select to interview someone who works for a Murdoch publication to talk about Musky. No wonder it was so positive. WSJ is Fox News lite. Not a reputable source.

    No Paywall

    Don’t Prey On The Uneducated
I used to love this podcast and would listen every day. But, like other reviewers, it feels like they are taking a nose dive. I fell off after the “Mr. Veep” episode and how ridiculous the stretch was to have an entire half episode dedicated to where you are “categorizing the different types of American masculinity” in the VP candidates. It’s such obvious pandering and an attempt to sway uneducated voters, not sure who listened to that one and didn’t roll their eyes at the reaching that was happening. Unfortunate because again, I looked forward to listening but I’m kind of done at this point.

You don’t have to do that.
Leave the Michael Barbaro moan to Michael Barbaro.

    Ads *sigh*
I really enjoy the discussions and reporting; I usually catch the show on NPR. Today is my first time accessing the podcast version - and my God, the ads! They’re just such an interruption that I lose track and have to reset when the show picks back up.
  • WHolt82
    You’ve gone too left!
I really used to enjoy this podcast, but the closer we get to the election, the clearer the bias has become. I’m done with the anti-right narrative. We don’t need your opinions. We need facts!! I’m out.

    So Many Ads
Why no paid version? It’s roughly 50% ads by volume.

    This is my favorite podcast
I listen to every episode and I love it. Topical, funny, great editing and I love the topics. Thank you!

    Good centered news
Extremists rate this as propaganda. Understandable when it shines a light on how far down the MAGA-hole they are. For the average 40ish white dude, this is quite fair, maybe even a little bit capitalistic and on the right side of politics. But you can’t have news without some interpretation. Got to put on our thinking caps anytime we consume media to filter out what’s opinion. Guess the right wingers don’t like capitalist news?? Such weird little guys over in Trumpistan, big sensitive feels with real TDE vibes. Anyway, this podcast is just fine for news from a corporate perspective.

    Kimberly Adams
What a nice surprise to hear Kimberly Adams on this episode. I love her on the Make Me Smart podcast with Kai.

    Not Impartial
I like this show and I use it to stay informed but Noel needs to watch how blatant she is about her opinions. It’s giving left wing media propaganda.
  • PistonWingsFan
    Opinion sold as news
Propaganda sold to you, listener, as facts and unbiased news! Their pop spin on everything is the equivalent of selling nicotine in fruity flavors. Enjoy!
