CookiekutzBad CommentaryI have tried this podcast three different times due to the great subject matter, but their opinions are so cringe and judge mental. I stopped listening for good when one host says that a celebrity said something the wrong way but agreed it’s them. What?!? The wrong way to who? You? Three no nothing uptight hens constantly clucking that everything is problematic we need to all walk on egg shell ? Yah no. The fake laughing and passive aggressive interactions mixed with insufferable comments like “our generation will get there” says who? You worst case scenario of a women like you guys. What a terrible example this show is for young women. No thanks.

QueenPrincessKingPrinceMy Favorite PodcastI’ve been a listener for about 5 years now. This is my favorite podcast! With great self-control, I save it for my workouts (the hardest parts required first). Thank you, Zara and Michelle, for my good health and fitness! I am an American, and I have lived in LA and been part of the entertainment industry, and I love the way, often different than the mainstream, Hollywood issues are discussed here. As for ads, I’m in awe of how Shameless handles them. I never minded them at all, which is a first (and only). I’m a subscriber now because a certain episode last year deeply impressed me. And then I realized I loved having more content! Yay! ( I did rate on Spotify long ago, but it doesn’t have a review option.) I’ve also listened to very single episode of Shameless and Shamemore. Okay, I’m done bragging, this is about you, Zara and Mich and the rest of the lovely Shameless team: you are remarkable!

mrsidlaMixed feelingsI’m American, work in entertainment in LA, and have been a paying supporter of the podcast for several years. I love this podcast and feel it’s original. The show seemed streamlined & polished but lately there is very little nuance and a lot of bias. Respectfully, my biggest grievance is a lack of understanding of American culture and this is the most glaring when it comes to criticizing (or rather a lack of criticism) of privileged white American women. It’s simply impossible for me to feel this is for “smart women” when topics aren’t explored in a deeper culture context.
-
sugareeeeMeghan SussexHonestly I’d rather you stop talking about Meghan Sussex rather than continually bash her. It’s clear this podcast doesn’t relate to black American woman, as anytime Meghan comes up, it’s nothing but negatively. you sound like the daily fail.

RepangelWednesdays are better with ShamelessLook forward to listening to this on my evening walks every week. Love how their pop culture takes and their camaraderie.
-
Lizzing88DelightfulI always get a little mood boost when a new episode is released. Thanks to the whole Shameless Media team for their hard work, honesty, and self awareness. And for making the world and more beautiful and safe place!

TaraMS10Can we be friends?Laughing out loud on my dog walk and pretending like I’d be cool enough to hang out with these girls in real life. SO fun, refreshing, and the perfect amount of dumb info for smart gals.
-
Block of TofuThe bestI’ve been following mich and Zara for years now and I love their podcast so much. As a super corporate person, this is a fun and thoughtful listen. I’ve never been one to leave a review, but I’m doing it for the baby!
-
CincodeMayo Bride-1star as a SwiftieLove the scandal series but def eye roll every time Zara disses TSwift. Ugh. As a huge Swiftie, I take that personally. Michelle’s snort laugh is the cutest thing.

ScrambledeggshellsIt’s like having someone read me wikiAnd I can manage that on my own.
-
meganheerLove this podcast!I’ve been listening for 3 years now and really do just love it! Michelle and Zara are so thoughtful in the ways they present stories - it’s a great way to escape the doom news and be in “dumb news” for an hour or two week :)

NinaaBeeBest Pod Hands DownSmart, funny & deliciously intriguing. This team ensures fun is had while tackling the sticky issues surrounding of pop culture and women in media. What would normal be considered teeny bopper content, the Shameless team shows us why pop culture should be taken seriously as a reflection on society at large. Giving takes with clearly a ton of research and incredible chemistry.
-
lizawheExceptionalI like to think I’m a smart person who loves dumb stuff, and this whole podcast is just the ticket. Your analysis of pop culture is spot on without being stuffy or vulgar. Thank you, from a grateful American.

ThatGirlCindyLove from AmericaI started listening to this show after stumbling upon the only fresh take I could find on TikTok on the whole It Ends with Us drama in August 2024. I have since binged nearly the entire backlog of Scandal episodes, listened to all of the regular episodes each week and really enjoyed the Glass miniseries. As someone who doesn’t really care about pop culture or follow celebrities, I’ve been surprised how much I enjoy listening to this podcast, like I’m just catching up with friends! When more came out about It Ends with Us following Blake’s lawsuit, I felt relieved that Mich and Zara (and I 😜) might have been right. They were the first ones I wanted to hear from and new that their coverage would be balanced and take a different perspective, and it did! Keep up the great work!

bex_machinamy favorite podcastNew Yorker listener here! I am so happy this podcast has come into my life. as a journalist and pop culture junkie, I love the amount of thought, research and heart Mich and Zara put in to every episode. they are truly so intentional and considerate in their analyses and banter. this pod always brings a smile to my face and makes me feel like I’m chatting with my best friends!
-
EemuseAppreciate you AussiesFun, smart, fast pop culture podcast with a variety of voices. Most recent episode had takes on Trump supporters and healthcare in America that didn’t hit for me. Hate to pull this but I guess you have to be American to understand the level of disfunction and disassociation we are experiencing. People regularly police and cut out friends and family members with different political views. Keep bringing the fabulous banter. (Sorry I usually agree or appreciate your views but Americans are in a weird place right now.)

Cheribee 🐝Wicked reviewThese ladies were so entertaining and funny listening to. They are very sweet and seem to have a very nice repore and relate to each others various opinions with respect and understanding. They aren’t loud and obnoxious and sincerely do a great podcast

JamieenicoleexoMy favorite podTruly my favorite podcast. The perfect combo of sugar with some analytical thinking and insights. I’ve been a shamemore subscriber for a few months now & will continue to be ! Love u zara & Mich💖💖
-
annierauThis podcast is very very very reliant on Wikipedia… and maybe you’re okay with that, but for me it’s a dealbreaker! The Clara Bow episodes pushed me over the edge. I love Wikipedia but if a pod is gonna conveniently use all the same details as Wikipedia, and quote all the same the newspapers/books as Wikipedia, it literally just needs to own it!
-
laurenmarleenBeloved but confusing subscriptionI love this podcast and I subscribed to ShameMore for a while but all of a sudden, I get ads in almost every ep. It’s the only podcast I’ve ever subscribed too - it was my little monthly treat and I feel a little taken advantage of. Also it feels like almost every episode the past half year has to include Taylor Swift worship. I wish Zara & Mich would think beyond their obsessions more. It seems like a missed opportunity some weeks and recycling PR-planted content feels more People Magazine than a smart take on pop culture. They’re brilliant but I wonder if they’re stalling out on Shameless because their attention is diluted with some many other projects.
-
Cath_kBorn in the USAnd love shameless!
-
vcole_5USA thx yaYay the girls realized they have US based listeners! This is great because I love the show but at times find the niche Australia references or acronyms confusing - great show otherwise though !!
-
healthcare hero 06The bestIt’s like catching up with two of my best girlfriends. Love you ladies!
-
FleurC13Long-time fan, not going anywhereI have been listening to shameless for about five years (probably about time I reviewed!). Absolutely love it and feel (weirdly, parasocially) proud of the girls for how far they and their business have come! The Thursday eps are my way of staying connected to the pop culture world - always appreciate their views even if I don’t necessarily always agree (isn’t that why we listen to podcasts, to hear alternate perspectives?). Also love scandal, always excited to dive into stories I remember from back when, or learn something new in the eps about things that I missed! Keep up the good work girls!
-
JustletmeleavemyreviewHappy PlaceAll I need to calm me down after a hard day is the sound click clack of high heels down a path and the words Shameless Media

OhyeahdrawsomethingyeahSo good!Never fails to entertain!

GbyJimIt’s okayIt’s okay but what ruins is the off track chatter and laughing into the mic, editing could help.

Erin12168Really Enjoy this PodcastThe podcast is a lot of fun to listen to. I’m finding it’s taken the lead as the one I want to listen to lately! Continue reporting on pop culture.
-
EHM06My favorite comfort listenI’ve never purchased a subscription faster than when shameless announced they were adding one.
-
shy_10Took a break, came back……and am taking another break from this pod. There is SO much to discuss in the wide world of pop culture and somehow they always land on Taylor Swift. Also incredibly white-centric. I just don’t think this is the podcast for me.
-
Thommy Dan5/5 🌟sSuch a great podcast! Both hosts are very fair and reasonable. I loved the Anne Hathaway series from 2 years ago! 💖
-
PonteLasPilasVile and ShamelessI listened to maybe 5 episodes and wow, the hosts are just nasty. At a time when most sane people are acknowledging that the Where is Kate phenomena got out of control and they feel bad for contributing, these women are basically trying to come up with lame excuses for their nasty behavior. They very reluctantly admit that they got a “bit” carried away when they were spewing their bile and gleefully spreading lies “there is zero evidence of this, but let’s talk some more about the affair rumor “ etc. Laughably, they claim that if only the Palace had shared more, maybe they would have behaved differently. Who are they kidding? I guess this podcast is aptly named because these hosts truly have no shame and will do and say whatever they want chasing ratings. Vile.

sarai234326DisappointedI have been listening for awhile and while I don’t agree with everything, I do enjoy the pop culture gossip and recommendations. I just listened to the Kate cancer diagnosis episode. I think you guys, especially Zara, really let yourself off the hook. On the previous episode, you girls were literally cackling while talking about Kate Middleton. Listen to it back, it’s pretty disgusting. In this episode you were really stretching to make how you acted seem ok. It honestly makes your normal wokeism seem totally shallow. Do you really care about women? About a women’s health? Do you care about health privacy? Or do we only care about those things if the person is not royal? Is not rich? Is not white? It is definitely disappointing. I’m still listening and will change the review if I feel differently. It just would have been nice to hear someone 100% own up to behaving badly rather than a flaccid mea culpa at the beginning and then an examination of every possible reason under the sun that justifies that bad behavior.

mcn1130Such Fun!I love this podcast and all their takes and I love how they ethically consume pop culture. They have fun without being “obsessed.” My favorite balance of pop culture consumption!

ALV LDNYikesI wanted to like this podcast as a fellow pop culture enthusiast but wow the tone has been off. I can deal with the incessant “1000%” retorts or the constant insertion of Taylor Swift into EVERY news story even when it doesn’t make sense (girls, she has not attended the Met Gala in years, of course she wouldn’t be at this one). But the Meghan and Harry episode felt heavily biased and almost hateful. It is very clear that these women do not like Meghan Markle, and glossed over her racist treatment in favor of calling her petty and annoying repeatedly. It honestly reeks of white supremacy and makes their attempts at being racially inclusive (like the aboriginal disclaimer at the end of each podcast) seem inauthentic. Here they had the opportunity to be an ally to a black woman facing unprecedented public abuse and instead contributed to the problem. No one is claiming Meghan Markle is a saint, but your coverage of her was far from fair and made me lose all respect for them at pop culture journalists and explorers. I’ll get my pop culture hot takes somewhere that isn’t racist, thanks ✌️

bittymokeAre you in need of some intrigue?Fun, upbeat, entertaining, informative chat with your favorite girlfriends about pop culture and celebrity news. I love listening to this podcast. Co-hosts Zara and Michelle are smart and insightful while keeping things light and fun. I always look forward to listening to them because I know by the end of the episode I’ll feel a bit better than how I felt before.

torisandMy comfort podcastLike chatting with your girlfriends at brunch, but with more details!

cps93Pop culture besties!I’m obsessed with this podcast. Long drive? Shameless. Cleaning the house? Shameless. Working? Still listening to Shameless. It is genuinely the only podcast I’ve ever subscribed to, but I just cannot get enough. Zara and Michelle are my best friends via podcast, and you can’t convince me otherwise! :)
-
sarah__cardwellI look forward so Shameless every week!I love this podcast! And as a Swiftie I love that they talk about Taylor ! My favorite episodes are the scandal episodes. They really do their research and put in so much effort into making those episodes!

Ellep146794749527Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.As a woman from the American Southeast that was put on to the Shameless podcast about a year ago, I just want to say, thank you for existing. This podcast and media company is so female positive without being down your throat about it. You make it’s feel so effortless and beautiful. I feel like I learn more listening to this podcast about relationships and culture than I have up to this point in my life, in such a positive, supportive, and healthy way. I’m probably a little older than your typical demographic (34) and was put onto it by a friend (40) but I want my daughter (16) to listen to everything you produce as I think it would be so good for her to have the relationships and friendships that you talk about throughout your entire media platform. I feel like you have opened my world and are helping me help her as a young woman to navigate this world. We binge your show every road trip and my husband is even invested in the content of the episodes as we listen together. Thank you!
-
no-whammiesTS PRI’ve been listening to this podcast for about a year. I loved it at first (especially the Scandal episodes), but the Taylor Swift coverage has been so excessive and unbalanced lately! It’s almost like the team is on her payroll or something? The lack of nuance and the sheer amount of PR fluff has gotten ridiculous.
-
WhatsupkellcObsessedThank you for existing. The pop culture breakdowns and all the scandal series are always so well researched/thorough. Being able to discuss such hot topics without being cruel isn’t easy but these ladies nail it every time.
-
8riianaAbout pop culture but not cultured..Maybe the most recent episode was the worst to start on but how can you blatantly admit that you’re not cultured and don’t care?? This is not a bash Taylor swift post. I love TS. But it rubbed me the wrong way for them to sit there and say they don’t care about looking into new artist etc. It’s giving very much white media centered. I’ll listen more. Very willing to be wrong about this take!

Pengy_0612LISTEN TO THIS PODCAST!The best way to describe this podcast is that you're having a fun conversation with a good friend. At a time in my 30s when all of my friends are having babies and I (no kids for the next couple of years) live in the Northwoods of WI surrounded by people that don't connect with me in regard to pop culture, these ladies make me snort laugh. I look forward to Thursdays when I can listen to these women and not feel small or lonely. I just finished the most recent episode discussing gen z on social media and I looked through my photo gallery and thought of my best friend that didn't care about pop culture but let me go on rants and just enjoyed me being excited about something. I shot her a text letting her know I'm thinking of her and miss her fearsome. Shameless podcast lets me delve and dive into pop culture without having to feel guilty or, dare I say it, dumb. Listen to this podcast, even if you don't care about pop culture. I think they'd be able to persuade you pretty easily. Thank you to these amazing women for providing me this space! ♥️
