    Fact man...
I love the podcast until the fact guy comes on. It’s hard to understand what is said and it isn’t helpful. Keep the podcast coming and ditch the fact man. Thanks.

I’m listening to this in 2020, and it’s bringing me so much joy. Most of my other podcasts are pretty heavy and having something lovely, well made, and informative is such a gift. Please keep making it!

    Amazing Podcast!!
Really great podcast, I love to listen to it. I originally heard of this podcast from Hank Green, and it was so worth it to check it out! Claire is incredibly enthusiastic and great at communicating interesting cheese knowledge. Only problem: we need season 2!!

This is, in my opinion, one of The best publicly available educational resources on all matters cheese-related. I sincerely hope our host will continue making more episodes.

Funny but very informative podcast that goes into detail but does not overwhelm cheese novices. In top list of podcasts, can’t wait for new episodes!

    Thank you, Hank Green!
I heard about this from a question in the AART book talk and now know far more about cheese science than I ever thought necessary. The podcast itself is entertaining and accessible.

    Fun AND Educational
Claire always sounds like she has a smile on her face which makes this pod all that more delightful to listen to. The only downside is that I want to run out and try a bunch cheeses that I’ve never heard of but that sound exciting.

    Delicious!
Oh. My. Gruyere. The science and stories and people of cheese. Yes please. So interesting! Something that seems so simple is actually quite intricate and complicated! Subscribe to this podcast and you’ll never under-appreciate fancy cheese boards again.

If you like Bill Nye, Good Eats, Crash Course/John Green, Freakonomics, and the Netflix series “cooked”, and you like to eat or are at least interested cheese, then you’re in for a treat! Behind the Rind unveils the mystery of cheese in a way that is accessible to the novice and the monger. Claire is a fun and engaging host and I can’t wait to learn more from her! This is hands down my new favorite podcast!

    My new favorite pod!
If the producers of Radiolab were exclusively and obsessively preoccupied with cheese, this is the podcast they would make! It’s so fun to hear both the stories about how cheese culture developed and the science behind the taste. Claire makes it all come alive! This pod seems like it would be equally engaging for a cheese newbie or an industry insider. For a casual connoisseur like me, it’s perfect!

    Wow What a Start!
Cheese she says? Ok, I’m game. This is a terrific, entertaining podcast that looks to incrementally educate me (you) on one of our favorite foods! Think Freakonomics for just one HUGE subject: cheese. I too am one overwhelmed and intimidated by the cheese case. The cheese shop was one of my favorite places to visit as a child, inhaling the aroma, looking and reading all of the labels, wishing I had the money to buy and taste. The owners of my cheese shop were generous, offering free tastes to open my juvenile palate. It. Worked. I am glad to have discovered this amazing podcast and look forward to expanding my knowledge (and taste buds) to the BIG world of cheese with Claire as my guide. No more fear at the cheese counter. Join me! 🧀
