It feels like a conversation with a friend who also happens to be a respected psychologist. she asks great questions and guides the conversations into unexpected places. I really recommend her.

I'll huff and I'll puffOk…I think this podcast has good episode topics with knowledgeable guests who provide good insights and advice, but the host talks way too much (about herself). Sometimes as much as half an episode. S

Destiny MaganJust what I neededStumbled upon her Instagram through related accounts, and knew immediately it was an account worth following. Shortly after, made my way to the podcast and binged so many past episodes! A topic for everyone, truly valuable and thoughtful content! A must listen for sure!
-
wendyladysmithDown to earthI love the way Dr Cassidy explains and converses with guests about topics from not only the therapist point of view but also from the actual lived experience of a mom. It's so accessible and helpful. I was always hesitant to go to therapy but I knew I needed some help with anxiety. My first step was doing one of her online workshops, which was very helpful and was actually the first step in finally getting myself into therapy and getting the help I needed.

Brittainy A.We all need therapyWow. Just wow. Dr. Cassidy is what we all need in our lives. She hits on all the topics that so many of us experience but we don’t talk about. She shows us how to cope and learn and solutions. She saved me. And her calm voice just makes it all better.

mtjrljSupport by the most sensitive of peopleI began listening to Dr. Cassidy when I was pregnant with my first son, and she had just returned from maternity leave with her daughter. I felt so lucky to have access to her content, as she had just gone through what I was entering into. Fast forward a little over 20 months now, I’m pregnant with my second and due any day. She helped me navigate and understand so many feelings I was unfamiliar with when I entered motherhood, and now toddlerhood. I have recommended her time and time again to other mothers who need to hear how common their struggles can be and that there is no need to feel shame around topics that have been previously taboo. I feel like she is a true girls girl and a friend although we’ve never met.

tritchie89Feeling seenDr. Cassidy is such a gem. I have learned so much about perinatal mental health and about myself through listening to her podcasts. Parenthood (motherhood especially) can be such a complex and lonely time. Listening to her and her guests dive into the messy, unfiltered side of motherhood was so validating and needed. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and transparency that goes into these discussions. She also really chooses guests that she feels like her audience can relate to and that have wonderful experience and knowledge. Thanks Dr. Cassidy!

13brizzleShe’ll be there for you…When the rain starts to pour. Seriously whenever I need it, I scroll through the episodes and ALWAYS find and episode dealing with issues I’m dealing with. She does a great job at validating everything and giving valuable insight and she doesn’t even know me! She does know moms, however, and that’s all that matters ❤️

asteroidladya balmthis whole podcast is like a balm for the soul. it’s relatable and feels so caring and comforting that I have started putting it on when I feel my stress levels rising. Dr Cassidy does an incredible job of conveying information in a way that doesn’t feel too heavy - the surviving PPD episode was an absolute must listen for any new parent
-
Mrs.ZucherbergListen to this for actual helpDr Cassidy is the first one to get it. To actually help. To accurately explain and put words to the indescribable feelings you’ve experienced since having a baby. She’s doing what our healthcare system should be doing for us moms- providing help we’ve needed all along. All the things they don’t examine us for, help with, or even preemptively explain, but we experience anyway as new moms: postpartum rage, depression or baby blues, OCD, when your insides are falling out your pelvic floor, being a highly sensitive parent, having a sensitive or spicy kid… this woman, mom, & doctor has finally offered the help I’ve needed. I share her info with every mom I come across!
-
jlolsen23Facts and funI appreciate this podcast so much for the practical elements but also because the examples shared are real abs relatable. Have already recommended it to many others!

Toddler mom 20For any parentI recently started listening to the holding space podcast after a friend had a miscarriage and I saw that Dr. Cassidy did an episode on this topic. The episode was raw and honest and I wept several times. I hope some of the things I took away helped me be a more sensitive friend. Since then, I have listened to several episodes, from potty training to raising a child when you are a sensitive parent. Her episodes are easy to listen to, but so informative and worthy of the conversation. I am so grateful to have found this resource and definitely recommend.

anitanstevensMy therapy between therapy sessions!I discovered Dr. Cassidy through instagram and I am so mad that I waited so long to actually listen to her podcasts. They are so great. I love unpacking all of the things related to motherhood and how to become a more balanced mother/wife/employee. My personal favorite was the balancing working motherhood episode. I shared it with a few friends and we all felt seen. It was so interesting that we each had different backgrounds/experiences, and the podcast that helped the reason behind them click. I love all of the episodes I’ve listened to, and they give me so much to think about. Most importantly, it reminds me that we are not alone in these ups and downs. Truly like therapy between my therapy sessions and so very needed!
-
