Chaque sujet est présenté de manière très claire par un ou une spécialiste - souvent l’auteur d’un ouvrage publié récemment, et l’entretien est mené de telle sorte à approfondir, contextualiser, préciser. Ajoutons que Storiavoce a un statut associatif ; un soutien financier ou moral est le bienvenu !

the French spoken in these History podcasts is simply beautiful, with elegant diction, use of vocabulary and enunciation. these are usually interviews of authors, usually practicing academics in area universities or period specialists, of recent books on a wide range of historical topics so you can pick and choose depending on your interests but also on a whim. i particularly liked the episodes on “les rois maudits” 1 and 2 and “jacques de molay” partly because i have always liked the author Maurice Druon. but “barbarossa” on the battle was also fascinating as was a politically incorrect take on the French revolution. there are so many more ... if you are a good French speaker, these interviews will hone your vocabulary while giving you great pleasure as you listen, fascinated, to these wonderful stories. the pace and diction make them easy to follow even if you don’t catch every word. but keep a pen nearby to catch that beautiful word and absorb into your use of French.
