HuntrightUSAA great resource!!I am an avid hunter and angler and like many have fallen into an addiction to chase these birds. Listening to this podcast has not only kept me stoked before and during the season. I love how easy the conversations are to listen to. It almost feels like you could be sitting there with them as they are recording. The content is great and there is more information then you will know what to do with. I also really appreciate the non bias approach to the information delivered. It’s nice to hear all sorts of different approaches and opinions when it comes to chasing birds. Thanks! -Bryce Schall

bruin1962A Must-listen Podcast for Upland HuntersI recently completed listening to every podcast Travis Warren, the host of podcast, has recorded to date, plus one he did with Hank Shaw on his show. It was an amazing journey and I learned a lot. Travis is the perfect host for this podcast. He is humble yet knowledgeable host with a genuine interest in learning about people stories and how they pursue chukar hunting. He is not locked into a particular interview format, which is refreshing, and he makes a effort to steer his guests towards topics his listeners have expressed an interest in, like gear. I recommend this podcast to anyone interested in upland hunting and the desert west.

Keklik_OneGood dudeTravis scratched the itch of chukar hunting for me during off-season and on the way to hunts. He has such a good soul which is evident in the way he interacts with his guests. I can’t get enough!

Earth's EndMuch EnjoyedI never miss an episode. I'm a lifelong chukar hunter from Idaho, who moved away too long to mention, and love to relive the world of chasing chukars with Travis and guests. Great job!
-
Josh17youngFull of awesome informationSuper informative and inspirational to get out a hunt these birds. I’ve reached out to Travis with some basic questions before my chukar trip and he helped me out instantly. I appreciate that more than anything. Great guy. Great podcast.

mermaid1404Great western bird hunting podcast!I love having a podcast that talks about hunting out west. It’s great to get the info and input from people who hunt similar areas to where I hunt. Great guests and great content.

Hunt*Fish*EatWell DoneTravis does a fantastic job in this niche. I'm not particularly a chukar hunter, but he books solid guests and conducts interesting interviews.
-
jdh567219Please talk more ChukarTravis does a good job of creating interesting discussion, he’s clearly talented and does his homework. But as a diehard chukar hunter, I want to turn on this podcast and hear about chukar hunting. It’s kinda turned into a generalist hunting podcast instead of one dedicated to chasing chukar. There are a million hunting podcast I can listen to that are better with better guests, but this one has a chance to be uniquely special in my opinion.
-
MnMskierFrom an “old” guyDude, thanks for making me feel like the FOG...I’m 40! Every one of your listeners 38 or older should get an Upchukar t-shirt! Seriously, love the podcast! Never had the chance to chase chukar, but hope to get my GSP out West someday.
-
KRR47Dog less chukar hunter’sGreat podcast love the topics that you have and the locals that you bring on the podcast. I have hunted chukars in Washoe county but never with dogs I hope that some time in the future I get the chance to get a dog and train him and one day tell stories like you guys do. Keep up the good work you never disappoint with the podcast.

Will in OCGreat PodI am loving listening to this pod and hearing about all the stuff in California. Usually we don’t get any love (for obvious reasons) and aren’t covered at all so it’s really cool to hear normal guys on her share stories about hunting CA. Best part is each episode sounds like your just listening in on a phone call between a couple guys talking about what they love - makes it super relatable! Keep up the awesome work Travis!
-
palemorning_dunGreat podcast!Love the podcast and the guests are great!
-
KevinJIILook forward to this every weekI really enjoy listening to likeminded individuals sharing stories and knowledge. It’s good to know I’m not alone in my obsession of chasing these crazy little birds.
-
jtayerGreat!I love this podcast. Chukar Hunting is a special adventure, he’s a great host and the audio quality is awesome! The only thing I would improve is the way the episodes are ordered. Maybe this is an iTunes thing or my lack of tech skills but the latest episodes are at the bottom instead of the top of the episode list. I have to scroll down the entire list which gets longer by the week to see the latest. It’s the only one of my podcasts that does it this way.
-

Azteca90Excellent!Travis does an excellent job bringing together various experts and experienced hunters to share their passion for bird hunting and the outdoors. Even though this podcast is targeted toward Chukar, there is a lot of information that is pertinent to all kinds of bird hunting. As an Arizona quail hunter, this podcast has motivated me to learn more about Chukar and to add it to my bird vest, hopefully this season. I have listened to all of the episodes and look forward to the next.

E Bar WranglerChukar CodeI don’t really understand why you felt the need to start a podcast and promote and publicize the sport of chasing chukar. You talk about the code and keeping things secret yet you talk about it and compare it to big game hunting. As an upland hunter I enjoy the fact that it is a small community and I just don’t see why you want to promote it and bring in more people and compare it to big game hunting and grow as big as that community. We like it a small community like it is, we don’t really want more people out in the hills pressuring birds more and more.
