Once we got to the subject at hand (Baldurs Gate 3), the show was great. I just wish podcasters would avoid hitting the record button until their personal conversations are finished. I have no interest in their person lives or things that they did over the weekend…it’s a common problem throughout the community treat it like a legitimate show guys and you will do great!

I like Danny, the rest of the personalities are GOD AWFUL. Also give the politics a rest.

Several years ago, I saw numerous comments made by Mr ODwyer on twitter that were extraordinarily racist- even using the N word (google it to see them for yourself). How he managed to not get cancelled from that baffles and disheartens me.

NoClip is know for their video game documentaries, but they do an excellent job with podcasts as well! Whether they are interviewing guests, talking about games I’ve been playing, or are describing games I’ve never played or will play, they pace the conversations excellently and keep me interested. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone interested in video games. I’ve checked out others, and am yet to find one I enjoy as much as this one.

Jesse is a great addition to the team. The podcast becoming more of its own thing is a good move. Can’t wait to hear more!

I’ve started following and supporting Noclip from Day 1, and I never looked back. The content they release across multiple platforms helps me reinforce my love for the video games and the people who build those beautiful worlds we enjoy.

I have watched every documentary that Noclip has made and it’s been great to discover some more content to listen to.

I would much rather hear the actual interview than be interrupted every few minutes by Danny paraphrasing the subjects words. Exposition is fine and useful but a podcast should not feel like an episode of 60 minutes. Great subject matter and much love to Danny though.

Yes yes yes!!! This is exactly what I have been looking for. A high quality, highly edited, journalistic podcast about video games and the people that make and play them. There are seriously thousands of podcasts of people sitting around a table and talking about video games. I’ve looked and looked for something more and couldn’t find it until now. Noclip is seriously the first podcast ever to make a very good podcast about video game. I am soooo happy this exists! Anyone that likes video games should subscribe!!!

This is exactly the kind of quality I would expect from Danny. Thoughtful, well-done podcast with interesting stories about the gaming industry. I just wish it was a weekly podcast! I understand completely why it isn’t but UGH. Still, this is one of the best video game podcasts out there. Once it has a decent catalog of content, I can definitely see it being the TED Talks of video games.

Danny O’Dwyer is gamings best documentarian, bringing high quality and varied content and long form interviews telling in depth stories of development and gaming community that deserve to be heard. His style readily lends itself to podcasts and this is right at home in my feed, I’m sure it will be in yours as well.
