fredoniabeesRemington CORE-LOKTLoved the Remington CORE-LOKT episode- glad to see you guys give the OG props. Amazing what we take for granted in modern bullet design; kids today just don’t understand what it was like before- remember when Jurassic Park came out….keep up the great work gentlemen!!

UknojoHappy ListnerFor the past four years I’ve enjoyed listening to Vortex Nation podcast. I was wondering if y’all would be interested in discussing the difference between the model 700 and model 7?

XxxxxxxxoooooooooExcellent show.A lot of diverse topics that deal with guns, shooting and hunting. Super interesting and informative. Mark is your typical dad type of guy and Ryan is the super smart introvert that is knowledgeable about firearms and optics. Maybe one day mark will drag something out of Ryan about his love life. Would be hilarious! Thanks guys for the content!

coitus non-interuptusOutstanding Content!!!!Just a solod show! The topics are great, the knowledge base is awesome, and incredibly helpful. Keep it up fellas!!!!

jake from oregonGnarlyI’ve killed bears with 30-06, 308, and 9mm. The only bear that ran off never to be found was from a 180 grain core lokt from the 06 to the sternum as he was standing up to me. The 9mm quickly killed a 250 pound bear at 50 yards. I could easily make a conflated summary like 9mm is a better bear cartridge than 30-06 but that would be misleading despite my personal DRT % for each cartridge. I conduct an autopsy on every animal I kill. What do I use on bear now? An AR-10 or a Ruger American chambered in 308, loaded with factory Barnes 150 ttsx. They work famously on elk as well. Good choice, Ryan. If you need another gel test, when your gel is still thick liquid, set up a scapula inside the block, once it sets up, shoot one ttsx only through all gel, then shoot another through the scapula! Bone shrapnel can be a weapon of its own. Excellent podcast.

BillyBob RockafellerNormally pretty goodNormally I enjoy the show. The recent one on SHTF bug out bags was pretty dumb. But, I guess they all can't be winners. Overall still worth listening.

JC2626262626Love this podcastReally enjoy Mark, Jimmy, and Ryan. Always have great guest too! Cartridge talks are my all time favorite but even when the holiday cartridge talks are over, great content just keeps on coming! I drive for almost 2 hours per day every day and this show runs non-stop!

WP SMITHGreat show…I like podcasts that make me feel as if I’m listening in on a cool conversation. It’s like visiting the relaxed atmosphere of an old gun shop.
-
panjockeyLove the show nowFeel like the guys found there chemistry
-
Table MesaManbun centalJeez I really can’t stand these guys. No clue at all about rifle cartridges. Just reading stats out of gun mags. Wish this crap show would quit showing up in my feed. I really dislike this show.
-
Old Guy In The WoodsGreat Podcast!Love the laid back yet technical ramblings! Would love to see my favorite light cartridge, the 358 Winchester featured on a Lead Balloon episode!

Kentucky JMGreat show as alwaysHey guys great show! I always enjoy the cartridge talks and informative topics. I’d love to hear one on the 7mm rem mag and why Ryan doesn’t like it! Thanks for all that you do.
-
RGRWHEELERGreat podcast!!Have you guys ever considered a podcast dedicated to properly cleaning a precision rifle. Or how the pros clean their rifles. Thanks for all the great topic you do put out . Learned at lot over the years.
-
EstebanEsp287 FeedbackLOVED this episode and the idea for ballistic gel testing! Just like you guys, I love seeing those types of videos. Y’all can even make start a new trend like “Ballistic Battles” where you not only compare and contrast differing calibers, but score/judge them via ballistic gel data!
-
ヘロロ郎A rare good compromiseBias disclosure: I only watch/listen for the cartridge discussions; can’t be bothered to hear more glass chats. I’d give it more stars if it spent a little more time talking tape and sprinkled in just a tad more (a little goes a long way) anecdotes of specific hunts, but I recognize that if it did it might not have as broad of appeal to the listener base as these types of programs have to have. All in all good ‚nuff

Fudd BusterHighly recommend!Very informative on many various topics.

Dr Nicholas T. NameBest gun/hunting/cooking podcastFrom the genuine rapport the hosts share with one another and their guests, to the casual-yet-educational discourse, to the varied and interesting subject matter, one can rest assured of a good show no matter what. I have listened to so many drunk redneck gun podcasts - and I say this as a drunk redneck shooter - that this was a refreshingly sober and humorous take on the genre; there is no episode that fails to either educate or entertain or both with superb production value tacked on as a bonus.
-
lewiscreekFun showThis latest one kept driving me crazy with the one guy saying, yeah, ok, exactly, mhmm, yea every 2 seconds. The regular shows are usually great. I never leave bad reviews it jus drove me nuts.
-
BoltgunBillGreat podcast! This is literally my most listened to podcast show. Whether I am trying to learn about a particular topic being discussed or simply following for entertainment. Mark, Jim, and Muckipedia do a fantastic job with this podcast.
-
RedtheBayDog.Great guys..Just like sitting in a good gun shop with knowledgeable guys.. This is a great PC. Absolutely Awesome…

David 6053Love the broadcast……but…Absolutely love the information that comes from these experts. Look forward to every broadcast. But…..could do without the tension that clearly exists between Jim and Mark. When you two work together without the zingers the information is so much more authoritative and reliable. Thanks again for what you all bring to the table.

TRiPP3R7More reloadingI’d love to hear more reloading episodes with tucker and Scott!
-
D HinesLove the podcast, just wish it was the video versionI love this podcast and love the ability to play at 1.5X while driving or at work. It’s very informational but I always have to go back to Youtube to get the visual information.

845 Limited-Ultra HQ-I walked in to this one thinking “well, they’ll push their products and it might be an infomercial…” Not even close! Absolutely entertaining, extremely informative (even on topics that are outside my area of specific interest) and the production quality, clarity and audio levels are top notch. If there are other gun-centric pods that bring it as well, I’d like to find them, cause these guys are just fantastic.
-
Mike556762Cartridge requests: .375 H&H, and .416 RigbyGreat show, guys. Keep up the good work! Requesting a review of these two classic African calibers. They will be accompanying my Dad and me to Zimbabwe this July.

Fritz FeulnerThe first rule of podcasting......is knowing when to shut up! WTH is wrong with these host clowns? Why bother have knowledgeable guests if you constantly interrupt them?

hardwater newb1 magnification and only 1.Love the podcast lots of great information!! I mostly hunt mule deer and elk here on the east side of Oregon So i would go with 8x that is where i like to set my scope from 50-600 yards i have the viper pst with the FFP so i like the size of the recital right around there. Also with the first buck I shot, I was using an older 3x9 and at the time I didn’t know you could adjust the magnification.... so i was at 3x the buck was with a doe and I couldn’t see his antlers through my scope. I had to use my knockers to see which deer was the buck. It was a forky so they had similar sized bodies if it was it older buck probably could have been able to tell difference. Kept having to go back and forth between knocker and rifle took what seemed like 10 minutes until they both where standing still and i was able to see that the buck was lower on the hill and i was able to kill the buck. This was at 250 yards. The Buck didn’t make it 10 feet.

Aguillard18Cartridge Request .45-70Ryan mentioned that his favorite Cartridge would probably be the .45-70. Would love to hear you guys talk about it!
-
SRerdley38-55 WinchesterLove your shows! It’s time to do some shows on older cartridges such as 38-55 Winchester(under rated for deer), 45-70 Govt, and 44-40 Winchester. Thanks, Shane

upsman4794Awesome showAwesome show guys. I wish you would do a ten minute talk on the 260 rem especially with rifle season coming up here in Maine

Zander record holderGreat showI really enjoy when one or a group of you go off on what your passionate about like certain types of guns or ammunition and how it works. Speaking confidently about how something works wether it is DI or piston AR and ballistics on a style of ammo. Reminds me of "smarter everyday " on YouTube "Destin" works/ed for the DOD and is able to theorize how something works and that is fascinating to me. Ps check out his channel for some sweet shooting /suppressed sound barrier information

MISTER RAGEBest “Hunting” technique talk podcast I’ve ever heard! This podcast has always been up there when it comes to quality of content but Vortex, in my opinion has produced the best hunting technique podcast that I have ever listed to regarding high mountain hunting. Episode 133 is ridiculously filled with content for high country hunting (mule deer, elk, bear...etc). Lampers and Warren share their hunting knowledge success and failure for hunting these high country animals. As well as their daily thriving techniques for mountain hunting. I high recommend this podcast for any hunter that heads into the mountains to hunt. Vortex really hit a grand slam on this podcast and the content is only getting better! 5stars all the way and two huge 👍🏻 👍🏻😃

-JGood1,000th Rating!!!If I understand the ratings correctly, I have the honor of being the 1,000th rating. The Vortex Nation Podcast is easily 5 stars. It is both informative and entertaining as it keeps the listeners engaged from start to finish. The hosts and guests are knowledgeable and humorous while covering a wide variety of topics. I really appreciate the time and effort that Vortex puts into their products, and this one is no exception. Simply put, this is a great podcast from a great company. Thank you and keep it going!
