    Thank you so much Kirstin! One of the hardest things for me has been trying to explain to others my situation. Since I don’t personally know anyone else who struggles with this, it feels like I’m crazy when I tell them about it. It makes me feel like I probably feel the same as everyone else except I’m just too weak to resist my urges. But being able to hear you talk about these things is amazing! It’s like, wow! You know exactly how I feel!! I’m grateful that you are devoting such a big part of your life to this cause. It’s one of those things (among so many other things) that people don’t think about when they think of typical human challenges. I listen to like 3-4 episodes a day! Soon I’ll be all caught up!     I love this podcast. I finally feel HOPE. I used to think I just sucked and wasn’t strong enough, but overeating won’t go away like a normal habit. I’ve needed to learn about my brain.     Kirstin’s load cast is a beacon of hope after years of unhealthy eating behaviors. I created habits over the years that don’t fit any eating disorder other than a vague BED. I have put on weight despite (or because of ) decades of dieting. I have kept my search for an answer to why I could be a successful person in most areas of my life but not when it came to food. I loomed this web of thoughts and habits and emotions that kept me at the bottom of the well on many levels when it came to food, body image, and now health. Then came podcast number 15. I was researching food thoughts and how to tame them. And Kirstin said: they are a toddler. Just ignore them. Ah! That made complete sense. And I started listening to the podcasts. Binge listening probably. Untangling, weeding, small steps towards the light. After missing the last group, I cannot wait for the next group to start on May 22. I am ready to reclaim my life! Thank you so much Kirstin for your work. I love you!

    Very helpful!
    I’m finding tremendous freedom in implementing the tools Kirstin shares in the podcast. She is direct, but kind. I love her approach. Everything Kirstin shares may be useful regardless of your circumstances surrounding your binge eating. However, my only feedback would be—there are unique dynamics that come in to play being married and having children. At this point in my listening, I do not believe Kirstin is married or a mother. (Which is completely fine!) However, sometimes it is difficult to practice mindfulness, adding more “fun” to your life, even eat slowly or want you want to eat something when you are in the throws of motherhood. Again, her tools are outstanding, I just wonder if touching on the nuances of navigating eating during the craziness of motherhood might help expand her to an even greater audience.

    Life Changing!
    I’ve been struggling with eating all my life and searching for answers. Finding this podcast was a godsend. Kirstin’s no nonsense advice resonates with me in every episode. I can’t count how many aha moments I’ve had. Not only is the advice amazing, her delivery is so upbeat, positive, and encouraging. It feels like I’m listening to a good friend who happens to also be extremely wise. Since listening I have felt incredibly inspired and have renewed faith in myself.

    It’s like she knows and gets me!! An old college roommate of mine suggested to give it a listen as it had helped her (and we’re 64 😲). I started listening about a week ago and already up to #84 and it’s proving you CAN teach an old dog new tricks after a lifetime of food abuse dealing with emotions. I like just listening while I am relaxing but also love to listen to Kirsten as I mall walk. She is such an inspiration!, I so enjoy her upbeat voice and straight talk, knowledge and care for her clients failures AND successes. I highly recommend this podcast, it’s helping me THINK before eating and pulling me out of a self induced slump after some big blows in my life. THANK YOU THANK YOU Kirsten!!

    I have learned so much from Kirstin in first few episodes about my struggles with eating. She makes binge eating make sense, which has baffled me for years. I have shared her podcast with friends who need support too! Take a listen and you will feel RELIEVED you found hope!

    Unlike many podcasts that are ONLY there to sell you a product, Kirstin actually gives listeners real, actionable steps to take to stop binge eating. In fact, I have also used the tools she describes to deal with other issues in my life. I would love to hear an episode on overeating vs binge eating - how can you tell the difference, and how to approach the habit of overeating once binge eating has stopped. Thanks for all your insight, Kirstin!

    Amazing! Even for non-binging people
    I love everything about this podcast. She is so knowledgeable but kind and personal. You feel like you’re just talking with a friend. I struggle always giving in to urges and not processing how I’m feeling or really thinking about what I truly want. The way she talks about urges and how to have a healthy relationship with food is so helpful for even people that don’t binge. Since listening to her podcast I have never had a better relationship with my food! 10/10 would recommend!!

    This practical lady is in my opinion…has one of the top 3 shows out there. It might even be the #1 show on these types of eating disorders. She has a great voice. The lengths of her podcasts are ideal. Her style is right on and realistic and yes, people who binge eat etc need to hear it over and over and over!!! I previously knew about her types of belief’s about bingeing being a terrible habit. She is correct. I have been doing it for 45 years. If you do it for that long…it is harder to break. But if you actually follow the advice. You will be successful!!!It works when you do it. Please keep making these podcasts. Thank you.

    I discovered this podcast early last week and it’s already changing my life and the diet / binge / fail cycle I’ve been in for over 10 years. I continue to remind myself “The URGE to binge does NOT have to equal a binge”. I start every morning with 2 or 3 episodes to get me in the right mindset for another day of overcoming my binge eating and correcting my mind!

    After years of struggling, I’m finally seeking help. And making progress, thanks to this podcast. Coach K speaks from experience and from the heart, and for the first time I feel fully seen (I always thought I was the only one who struggled with food obsession / feelings of loss of control). Episode 34 specifically I cried the whole time- I recognize myself and for the first time I feel empowered to make a change.     Honesty, Compassion and Tools!
    I’m going through a lot of life changes this past year and finally coming to deal with binge eating after becoming sober for over a year now. I have an “addictive and binge” mindset. I starting “binging” your podcast, pun intended, from the beginning about a week ago. I’m obsessed with the self talk you provide, the honesty and the tools. You have an incredible way of delivering information solo without needing a cohost or banter and it’s still cute, effective and light. I think keeping to the 10-15 minutes also works in your favor. I’m a podcast junkie and usually when I start from the beginning I expect a lot of growing pains and away to stay engaged until the host gets their groove but back in 2018 you really took to it! You’re a natural!

    It’s been 3 days that I found this podcast and I am already listening to the 20th episode. It works like coffee to my brain when it forgets about the “ thoughts “ and want to believe the the bad emotions. It’s so motivating to hearing stuff from experts who have been through what you are experiencing now. Keep it up!

    Is Kirstin imitating brooke castillo?
    The voice, the wording, the laugh sounds exactly like Brooke castillo, why would you do that? I am sorry but i tried to listen to your podcast but sounding exactly like Brooke I just couldn't pay attention. I am sure your podcast is wonderful, you have 5.0 stars for a reason, but for someone like me that listens to brooke castillo many times a week and then listening to you speak exactly the same as her doesn't do it for me, its a little disturbing finding a coach that doesn't show who you really are. makes me wonder how is your true personality, i would love to listen to the real you and not an exact copy of Brooke.
