It’s nice to hear from real fisherman who get it

This pod has gotten me through dozens of hellish commutes and I’ve even started listening on my way out to the fishing grounds. I never knew there were so many different aspects of both salt and fresh water fishing. Both educational and entertaining I’d highly recommend this pod whether you are a novice or experienced angler.

I am a club member of the Brooklyn fishing club and not only do they promote legal tactics- they advocate for them. They have catch and release tournaments and only post pictures of legal sizes catch and cooks. I am not sure where and how you would think this other then just blindly saying that to try to deface an actual good brand and healthy thriving fishing community for no good reason other then to hate. Why don’t you join the club and find out what they are about.

Couple of LI guys that consistently bleed out breeder stripers on piers in Brooklyn tell stories about all of the illegal stuff they do and promote the bad acts that gets fishing banned in public areas. Shame they have such a large following as they fail to push the proper tactics and treatment of striped bass, a fish that’s in need of our help. Listen to the Orvis Fly Fishing Podcast or Seven Stripes if you’re really interested in etiquette and conservation-minded fishing.
