    Tin foil hat crazy politics
Ok. Some of the information on the show is useful (episode on growing mushrooms). However, any useful information is swamped by the toxic political views of the podcasters. I ignored the pro trump stuff for a while but when they start with dangerous anti-FEMA information I’m done. A simple google search about what is going on with the current hurricanes in the south reveals that these two people are either lying, fools or both.

Too much talk and nothing being said. .
I honestly started to tear up a little when Glen announced he was cancer free. I was happy for him. With that being said, I am stepping away from this podcast for what will likely be a while. Too much talk and nothing being said. I’m tired of the endless commercials, the endless in-show commercials, and the constant mentioning of the book series. There are so many other options out there. Why would I waste any more time here?

Too many ads heavily effect the content
The content has small pockets of good info but as soon as the hosts start to break it down, there’s a super long ad session. By the time they’ve gone through several minutes of the ad break, they’re on another tangent. Also, a little too politically biased for my taste. Unsubscribed.

    Funny
I enjoy the humor and have learned a lot from Shelby and her knowledge on medicinal herbs! They just seem like a fun and down to earth people!

    Really enjoy this podcast!
I like all the discussions. And the way that they break things down. overall it’s a very good podcast!
  • The amazing 13 year old
    amazing!
I love how they tell you all about everything you need to know about the future and things that you need to prepare for. I really appreciate that they do this podcast. I also like all the commercials and how they are all about survival gear.

    Writing a review in appreciation
Of the fact that this knowledge comes to us for free. No need to whine about ads, bc that’s how the system works so the podcasters can get a meager return for their efforts that provide all of us and new people every day, with quality content to help us improve our lives and take care of those we love.

    Ignorant
These people are right wing nutjobs with all the misinformation and false talking points of the most whacko politicians and pundits around. How can anyone trust information about prepping coming from people who can’t discern facts from fantasy?

    Too political
Enough of the politics already. It’s annoying and complete cop out.

    Outstanding podcast
    Great info and true patriots!

    disappointed
love the topic love the mindset but there are better sources-this is a copy and paste show with way too many ads

So many adds ruined this podcast
This used to be very good Great source of information on all things prepping. I recommended it to anyone concerned about the future and showing an interest in preparing. Now a big percentage of the show is adds and there isn’t enough time to get into detail on a subject. Even as a Patreon supporter I still have to skip the adds. I’ve cancelled my Patreon support. I asked a question for Patreons and they ignored it. Evidently they no longer value their patreons. It’s disappointing. It was such a good show.

    Almost more ads than content
I have listened to this show since they created the podcast, so I have seen a huge change over the years. While I understand the need for sponsors, we are stuck with about 30 minutes of ads and 30 minutes of actual content. Ads in the beginning, ads during the break, ads before and after the breaks… even during the actual content, they drop more ads about their sponsors… it’s freaking ridiculous. I don’t even bother with Patreon anymore because there were STILL ads even when I was paying for a subscription. It’s fine to have sponsors but you are turning soooo many people off with the nonstop advertisements. Seriously… it is so bad now that I had to write my FIRST EVER podcast review because I just can’t take it anymore. Do your ads during the breaks and cut them all out for Patreon subscribers. If you keep going down this road, pretty soon you will be sold out and sponsored by Pfizer.

Get Content…All 10 min out of 60 of it
Writing a review on this show in hopes of encouraging change, though I’m not the first to highlight the ad issue, so not sure these reviews are read by the hosts. Love the information in this podcast, but I spend a lot of time skipping forward past the ads to get back to the actual content. At least they group them all together (mostly) in the middle of the podcast. If you’re looking for some helpful tips and resources though, it can be worth stomaching the plethora of ads to make sure you’re making appropriate preparations to make sure you and your family will be ready when needed for either natural disasters or socio-economic collapse.

    Too many ads!!!!
I understand that shows need advertising dollars and sponsors in order to keep the lights on; however, my biggest gripe is the amount of content vs. ads. The show is usually under 60 minutes with about 30%-50% of the show seems to be dedicated to ads or taking about the after show. I really wish they listen to the comments and adjust their podcast strategy accordingly. The podcast space is crowded, and I’m certain I could find another prepping podcast with more content and fewer ads. If you want to increase your listening audience, listen to those who took the time to leave a review AND have stuck around despite the ads and lack of content.

    Too political
This is more of a political podcast than prepping.
  • GymBaron
Too many ads and too political
I feel like the ads get almost equal screen time as the content. But honestly, the politics is where they lose me. I am a democrat, and a rational prepper. They can exist in the same world. I don’t want to tune in and listen to an hour (30 minutes with ads) of Fox News regurgitation. The last episode about the decreased risk of civil war is where they finally lost me, and I feel strong enough to leave this review and unsubscribe. The first 15 minutes was just right wing conspiracy theories. Sorry guys, there are other channels out there they don’t try to get ratings by using the Fox/MSNBC standard of keeping people paranoid and infuriated. The quality prepping tips and content are almost nonexistent now.

    Great topics
Been listening for a couple years. Moved out of Washington to a free American state and now picking up my preping pace.

    Best prepping podcast
This podcast will help you get prepared quickly. Hosts Glenn and Shelby layout comprehensive actions to help you and your family get smart quickly in prepping needs and skills. They host several industry experts presenting an accurate forecast of what’s to come next. Valuable content and time wells spent with them. Enjoy!

    More ads than content
What little content there is , is interesting and informative. That being said I feel like the majority of what I’m listening to is ads and self promotion. I understand you all have bills to pay, but other podcasts are able to deliver a nice chunk of content and still pay their bills. Maybe you all think if you’re stingy on the content it will motivate people to get a paid subscription. It’s had the opposite effect on me. I have no intention of subscribing and I’m unfollowing your show on all platforms.

    Anti-black riffle coffee
Y’all should be creating community and black riffle coffee is an extremely amazing organization with quality individuals running it. If you dig a little bit further and knew what you’re talking about they aren’t anti-Kyle Rittenhouse. Think I’ll try a different prepping podcast that doesn’t talk crap about one of the leaders in this community.

    BLOW YOUR NOSE
You have so much great info, but the nose whistling every other episode is insufferable. Blow your nose before the episode, maybe? How do you not hear it whistling in the microphone? Are you not wearing headphones? So gross.

    Prepping 2.0 podcast
Pretty good content BUT they spend a lot of time promoting their own books and too many commercials. Although it has good content,I get the impression they are promoting a panic in order turn a profit for themselves. When the money making commercials start, I move on to another podcast host. Seems like more and more prepper podcasts are going this route for the money. I feel like it cheats the people who are needing to learn. D.R. West Virginia

    Western Wa.
I am happy you have moved to MT. I live in very rural western Washington and when they talk about western WA they are misleading the listeners. Most of rural WA. Is very conservative. when they talk about how mild the weather is in western Wa they must have lived in Squim or Port Angles on the water front. Where I live we get to below freezing all the time in the fall and winter. Been below 0 many times and single digits almost every year. So beware of all there misleading growing season if you are planning to move to rural western Wa. The politics stink here because of fraudulent voting by mail and big lib money. Don’t move here for liberty I am staying because of my family and my 15 acre ranch is very productive and has been for many years. I will fight the Aholes in Olympia and ignore there unconstitutional laws.

    Informative and Entertaining.
One of the best Prepping Podcasts out there. Glen and Shelby are both knowledgeable and entertaining. If you are beginning to prep or a vet, you can pick up some great information that will help you.

    My new fav
I love the shows on food shortages, moving to red states, national divorce. We don’t need more prepping advice, we need topics like these for this time. Please do shows on how to survive in suburbs when the economy collapses, and what next steps to take before we are living in Mad Max world!

    Another mediocre prepping show!
This show is called “2.0”, yet they stay sqyarely in the 1.0 category. Their books are fantastic and I highly recommend them, but the podcast is trending weaker, 1.0/philosophical topics. I understand that people like “Dan the food industry guy” and Michael Bane are experts in their fields and should be listened to, but there is SO MUCH MORE that could/should be covered by “2.0” or “next level” prepping. I also understand that a radio show is highly limited due to the lack of “visual components”. Also, I know there are many things that are “skirting the law” and “op-sec”, so they can’t be discussed on this platform. I don’t want to be a total downer, Glen and Shelby are great! BUT... this show is not the “2.0” caliber that they ascribe to this show (unfortunately, I don’t know of any podcast that is “2.0”). Hopefully they are “next level” real life. Please don’t take this as being anti Glen and Shelby, as I am trying to be honest about the content of the show, not against them personally.
  • ShannonOlivia905
I want to like it but I can't
Good subject manner but terrible delivery. In a 30-40 show you will get maybe 10-15 minutes of content, the rest are sponsors, calls to join Patreon and mindless banter. They are also the two worst interviewers ever, especially Shelby. They constantly talk over the person being interviewed and when they ask a question, they take turnes answering it themselves first and make the person being interviewed answer it last. It's good content but they really need to learn how to run a proper show.

    Propaganda 2.0
What an amazing amount of biased lies and misinformation! Please don’t waste your time or money on these charlatans. Based on their lifestyle choices and beliefs I suspect they’ll be moving on to the great bug out location in the sky soon.
  • jcrow74
    Less politics, more prepping
They seem very knowledgeable about prepping but wow, the politics taints the quality of the show. I just want to learn new prepping skills. I don’t listen to political podcasts for prepping opinions, I don’t listen to prepping podcasts for political opinions.

    Incessant Ads
The material on this show is great, but the ads are incessant and long. Ruins the entire show for me.

Love you guys and listening to the show. Please, maybe we could get a little less promo and more content? But love you either way. Hope Montana is treating you well

    Just an infomercial
Started off with a lot of promise. Now it’s just promotion for Their Books Shills for vendors Support on Patreon. Not much content anymore.

    Skip button breaking podcast.
Great podcast if you want 50% audible infomercials, and 50% ads of patreon and sponsors.

    Awesome
New to this podcast but absolutely love it! Just one thing…please for the love of God…revisit grammar and do NOT say “it’s a big “ask”! This completely kills your credibility. Just because in some circles that crap is said doesn’t mean YOU should repeat it- no different than slang That ranks right up there with ending an email with “best”…best WHAT? Otherwise…loving your show.

    Good, but..
I’ve listened for over a year now. I like their guests but wish they’d let them talk. I think they do have informative things to say but that tends to get in the way of all the ads and requests for money through Patreon. It seems to be getting worse as time goes on. I fast forward through those and can get through this podcast in 20 minutes or less.
  • Sharkfinsouphater
    Not worth your time
There’s ok advice in here but it’s drowned out in ads and the hosts plugging their website/Patreon. The hosts have cool guests but have poor interviewing skills. They constantly interrupt guests or go on tangents that don’t relate to the subject. You can get the same advice elsewhere for less hassle.
  • Crypto_Bill
    Good content, too many ads
The core content is good, but half the podcast is ads or plugs for their own store. Was listening to the “100 things every Prepper should have” series, until I realized that only part of the series is free, and you have to pay for the other half.

    Some info drowned in advertising
The good parts: There's definitely some useful info in this 52 minute podcast, ususally about 30 minutes of it. And a lot of what they say is worth thinking about. The bad parts: There's a 16-minute intro of adverisements and then another 3 minutes of it halfway through the show. The downright terrible: They spend a lot of time talking about how great it would be if you sent them some more money via Patreon (beyond their ad revenue). Jack Spirko's "The Survival Podcast" doesn't have to subject you to that much crap.

    Useless
I've listened to multiple episodes trying to find anything useful, but these people are just snake oil salesmen. They fear monger to sale products and rarely say anything remotely helpful. If you are looking for for real prepped check out; Duff and Dale, Canadian Prepper, City Prepper.

    Not for me
Good information dispensed with lots of political opinion, insults for the people who disagree with the hosts, and far too many ads. Not my cup of tea.
